Andy and Nicole called. They are currently sipping "tropical drinks" in a hammock on the beach at the Caribbean. It was very hot when they landed, but they said it is beautiful right now.

Ahhhh...Sounds almost as as sipping drinks in a Poly Hammock!

The heavens just opened up and it's thundering and lightening. My dog is freaking out. I am on day 6 of a migraine and have a raging ear infection. I just want to poke my eyeballs out.

Oh, Tracy...I'm sorry about the migraine. Those are the worse. And I'm sure the thunder doesn't help and the dog freaking out.

Yes, migraines stink. The thunder has stopped. I can't get over this weather. Summer was here for a day or two and then it reverted back to spring, so it seems.

I've read your report on Andy's trip. I hope they have a wonderful time. Sounds like it's going well so far.

We had that "summer" thing too. We've had the wettest winter/spring I can remember in a very long time. We had two days of summer and then lots of rain. Then we had a few days in the upper 80's and 90's and then it dropped to a record high of 65 on Monday! UGH!!!! It's getting a little warmer day by day, but now they are predicting rain for the 4th of July (tomorrow) and clouds on Sunday. Good thing I took Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off...looks like they might be my days to get outside and enjoy some sunshine.

Thanks for reading about Andy's trip. I think I mentioned we took his team when they were 14 and he wanted to do the same for "his" boys. He's been coaching them since they were 10 and now they will all go to high school. This was the way to end a nice relationship with them.

Oh, Tracy, how awful! I'm so sorry - migraines are the worst.

But please don't poke your eyes out - your vacation photos will look very strange.

More ADR's? Sounds like you're hooked!! Hey, just cuz ya have 'em doesn't mean you have have to go if the mood changes. We give a quick call or stop by a podium and cancel - then it opens for a walk up.

I am not ashamed to admit that I've been driving myself practically mad this week trying to make up a dining schedule thingy in excel and I just NOW discover there is a vacation planner on the Disney site?!?!?! I swear I don't live under a rock. Pinky swear!

Do you know you can go on a carriage ride at the POR-Riverside? Or go parasailing at the Contemporary? Or do a Fireworks cruise? You know if we keep feeding you this info we might make your headache worse.

I was thinking about the WISHES cruise while you're at the Poly. Sometimes DISer's post a cruise to share..or you could book one and post you have one to share. Although the cruise is usually pretty well booked, you seem to having very good luck.

The POR Carriage ride is pretty - but - have heard the price has gone up and guests have not found it worth $45 (or maybe it's $40 - it went up from $35). Still, very romantic.

I never use the Disney site for planning (find it annoying), so didn't think of it - sorry!

You're doing a fantabulous job!!!

I hate the planning pages on the Disney site... I worked so long and hard on it for 1 trip, only to have it start showing up screwy. It never has been right since. I have read other complaints about it as well, so I know it isn't just my computer (as the Disney techs want to tell me!)

I've been cooking all morning for our picnic in the park today. We are having sausage balls, oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, tortilla chips with cream cheese/salsa dip, Ruffles with french onion dip, grapes, carrot sticks (for my health nut Avery!), pimento cheese sandwiches, kool-aid, water, coke and beer.
