Okay, here is Nic's most recent trip. If you scroll down to the bottom of her first post, you will see links to all of her trips. I am telling you--she is the BEST--and a lot of fun to read too! Let me know what you think.

Very nice report. She went to many of the restaurants that I have reserved. The pictures are a bonus too. :thumbsup2 Thanks, Kathy.

I'm over on the dining board trying figure things out. I've got myself totally stressed out about this vacation. Not what I had planned at all. :(

I thought you had all your meals planned out, ADRs made, etc. What are you re-thinking? Ya know what I think??? I think you should quit thinking so much about it! You have 2 beautiful resorts, incredible ADRs, tickets, airline worked out... you're done!!! Now just start the house-cleaning, laundry, packing, etc, etc, etc....!

Ok...I never realised the huge variety at Sunshine Seasons in Epcot...Have any of my Pickle friends eaten there? I'm thinking that might be a must-try CS for us this trip...looks like something for every taste.

I have it planned, yes, but not finalized. Having to follow a schedule is putting me out of my comfort zone. Not sure it's going to be worth my stress. I have a feeling we won't see Florida for many years to come after this trip, so I need to decide what is most important to me/us for this 'last' vacation.

I have no clue what you're talking about so I guess you know my answer!

Maybe it would be better for you to just make a couple of ADR's and let the rest just come. I don't like you stressing so much about your trip!

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sunshine Seasons is the food court on the lower level of the Land Pavilion by the Living with the Land Ride and Soarin'. They are many different sections that offers a variety of counter service food. We usually eat here once a trip--something for everyone's different taste buds.

If you say so! I better get a map when we go to Epcot. I only know where the big ball is. :) I don't even know what it's called. I do know that it used to be sponsored by Exxon but not anymore! I've only been to Epcot twice and one time I wasn't even there an hour before a ride made me deathly ill and I had to go back to our hotel. I will never ever forget it.

The "Ball" is Spaceship Earth. This was my dad's favorite ride. I cried like a baby when I walked into Epcot and saw it last year and then I sobbed uncontrobably the first time I rode it. It was a little easier the second time.

What ride at Epcot made you deathly ill? I know...you don't know the name of it, so describe it please?

Aww. I will ride it twice, for you and your dad!

The ride was located inside a building with food courts. It was a little theatre type thing that had seats in it and you watched a movie of inside the human body - traveled through it or something. The motion made me SO sick. OMG, I get nauseated just thinking about it. NEVER AGAIN.

Oh yes, Body Wars! I remember it well. That building is now totally closed and has been for years. I would STRONGLY suggest you NOT ride Mission: Space while you are at Epcot. I hated it...and was deathly ill and most rides do not bother me. This one did...and now I won't even do the "chicken" side of it. Andy went on it while he was there last week--NOT a fan.

Oh hayull no. I won't be going on that ride. I'm not sure I can even stomach Soarin'. It's the movement that bothers me. It's like trying to read while traveling. I just can't do it. I get so sick. I also have a hard time in movie theatres. I know. I'm weird.

Thank you. Chuck, my dad, would like that!

I think you might be able to handle Soarin. Andy, who does not like motion rides at all, LOVED Soarin' and did it three times while there.

Hello everyone

Looks like I missed out on a lot of activity going on.

Kari – sorry you got a warning. What does that really mean? Sounds like someone is just being mean. :confused3 (I didn’t get a chance to read the other post.)

Christine, Tracy, sorry you haven’t been feeling well. I’ve been sick as well since Sunday night. Fever, chills, and some other stuff I wouldn’t mention!

Kari - I like the new diet strategy, maybe it will help me lose my 25 lbs that I gained in the last 3 years. Oh, being sick sure helps jumpstart the program.

I guess I got some catching up to do.

Janet

I agree 100%. If having scheduled dinners is stressing you out, then I would narrow it down to just your favorite ones. If you are so worried over a schedule, you will have a hard time enjoying your trip. Just eat CS on the fly. You can also go into Guest Relations (at least in Epcot) and they have all TS restaurants with dining availability for the evening listed... just sign up for something day of.

I think you might be able to handle Soarin.

I agree again! If you do decide to try it, and it gets to be too much, then shut your eyes like Christine does. The ride itself doesn't move, so if you close your eyes, then it will all go away. Except for the oranges!

What is this... the DIS flu?!? My mom says I'm not allowed to play with you anymore since you all have the hoochie coo!

Tracy, I agree with everyone else..If you are feeling stressed and feel like you are "overplanning", drop the dining plan, keep a few ADR's at places you REALLY want to eat, cancel the rest, and just pay as you go. Especially if you are thinking of doing some things off-site. There are PLENTY of good CS places in Disney..esp in Epcot...pretty much every country has a CS location with samplings from their Sit-down menu...not as fancy, but similar food. I get the way you are feeling too...I tell myself I'm just going to go with the flow, but eventually, I end up stressing myself (and probably everyone else) out by worrying about stuff like this.

I hope all of you who are feeling lousy feel better soon!

I'm heading to my mom's for dinner, and am NOT excited about going. She invited us to dinner, and my little brother's family. Right after I said yes, she says "I'm fixing something you don't like, but I figured you could eat a little of it anyway." :confused3 So now I am going to go eat fried fish. :crazy2: And to make matters worse, she is making a mexican rice casserole to go with it. Yeah... fried fish and mexican always go well together!
