Has anyone seen the SW vacation deal going on right now? It is to Disney and every second person flies free....so a family of 4 would only pay airfare for 2..not bad...I haven't crunched the numbers yet for the hotel, but I will in a few.

We ate at Friendly's last trip. It was very good, and they have incredible ice cream! But we did almost get mugged in the parking lot... so be very careful down there after dark. (It's right in the tourist spot off I-Drive, maybe? Near the Ripley's aquarium.)

What??? No, no, no....never, ever interrupt the enchantment by leaving seclusion of Mickey's House.

I left property once, when traveling with a friend who always rented a car and went off to visit outlets and such - it was not for me. I felt like the magic/enchantment was interrupted. I need an uninterrupted dose of enchantment, thank you.

Okay, it will take me a moment to get over the thought...be still my heart...

See we always rent a car...easier to get to ADR's at the resort; we take a "day" trip AWAY from the World--okay shoot me, go ahead!
We go to the outlet malls and I get all the little kiddies I need to buy gifts for their shirts there; we go to Starbucks; we eat at Emeril's at City Walk our first night every year, and we have at least two breakfasts at Waffle House -- MY ALL TIME FAVORITE breakfast place in the universe--and we don't have them anywhere near us.

I talked to Nicole. She was crying at the airport last night because she was so upset and hates flying at night. She also said she really liked Wolfgang's for lunch. So that may have to go on my "planning" list.

Have you ever heard the Raleigh song that the convention center uses from its promotions? Wynn's band recorded that song at my house. (He remoldled our garage into a recording studio.) They just did a new one last week for Raleigh. He also did the music for the Sugar Bowl about 3 years ago.

Ok...FYI...You can't use a Southwest Credit with Southwest vacations...
I called to see if I could get that package for my dates..It wasn't as huge a savings as just going Mon-TH, but I could have still saved $115.84, and gotten a courtyard view BB room vs the Woodsview bunks I have now. I asked her how I should go about cancelling and re-booking the flights portion so I didn't lose my seats on the flight. Southwest Vacations does not accept Southwest credits. Thank Goodness she was upfont and told me that. Then we would have had an all new pickle.
