Hello all! This is my first time posting on here (I have to admit, I'm pretty nervous), but I decided I would take the plunge and start (and hopefully finish) this PTR for my high school graduation trip to Disney World on May 4-8 2014.
I should probably start off my introducing myself; my name is Meaghan and I'm 18 years old, graduating high school this June
I have been to Disney more times than I can remember; my family and I go at least 2-4 times a year, since it's only a 3.5 hour drive! Here is a picture of me from our last trip, when we went in January for the Marathon:
Because we go so often, and we're a family of 5, we like to get the most for our money. This means getting to the park when it opens and not leaving until they kick us out, packing lunches and snacks, and getting one hotel room for all five of us - making my 8 year old sister sleep on the air mattress (she's used to it by now... when she's on Disney property, she doesn't care WHERE she has to sleep)! We usually go for one day, MAYBE two (which, from reading many TRs over the past few days, is not a trend I usually see! I wish we could go for a week... hehehe), but since we get to go so often that is the way I've always enjoyed doing it. We are going again as a family in early March, but that's not the graduation trip I'm talking about!
A few weeks ago, I texted some of my friends (3 who graduated from my high school last year, and 1 who is in my same grade in my same school) that I had a dream that we went to Disney together and had the best time. One thing led to another, and we all decided that taking a trip during summer (my summer starts May 2nd) would be an awesome idea! So, as the resident Disney fanatic, I quickly got to planning. After some heavy coaxing, I finally convinced them that we should stay on property, at one of the All Stars. Since half of us are in college and the other half are being payed for by our parents, we're all pretty strapped for cash, which means doing things the most affordable way possible - which, conveniently, is my specialty! I've been trained from a young age that Disney is GO TIME, from sunrise to much past sunset, and I hope they know what they're in for
For now, we don't have many absolutely final plans, but this is the basics of our trip:
That's about all I can think of for now! Hopefully I can keep up to date with this PTR! I'm assuming no one will really read this, but it will be fun to keep for my personal memories

For now, we don't have many absolutely final plans, but this is the basics of our trip:
- Staying at All Star Music or Sports (preferrably Music - I stay in Sports every time we stay in property!)
- Checking in on May 4, parks on the 5, 6, and 7 (MK, EPCOT, and AK), and checking out on the 8th
- Getting Discover Disney tickets - Florida Resident 3 day tickets without park hopper
That's about all I can think of for now! Hopefully I can keep up to date with this PTR! I'm assuming no one will really read this, but it will be fun to keep for my personal memories
