Actually, it's German.
I just thought those thing woud be private.
Calm down folks.
Whoa, I'm sorry, but now I'm angry! I tried to be reasonable in my previous response. Took it as a "teachable moment" so to speak. But, you've crossed the line, as far as I'm concerned. What gives you the right to jump onto my thread asking a legitimate question having NOTHING to do with my children's disabilities, imposing yourself and offering nothing to the discussion, and then have the unending gall to criticize me for including information about my family in my signature?!

When did YOU become the self-ordained sigy police?! Then, to come out and tell people to "calm down" whom you've offended, and put "I just thought those things would be private." What you really meant is "I think those things
SHOULD be private", otherwise you'd have simply ignored it, since it was in no way germane to the discussion, nor was a question asked like "hey, should I include this in my siggy". AND you did it in a confrontational manner.
I'm proud of my children, who they are, what they've accomplished. I'm even more proud that they've done so when faced with some pretty tough hurdles, not the least of which are small minded individuals who are prejudiced against them. It's not something I'm embarrased about, not something I would "hide" or keep secret and private. And it offends me to no end that you think that I should do so! All you've accomplished is to make me want to go in and make my sigy bigger and the references to my kids "illnesses and problems" bigger....I wonder if I can add a sound tag line....hmmmm.
Note to others, make sure you don't have a picture of your child or loved one in a wheelchair, or walking with a cane, or doing sign language...who knows what kind of "special treatment" seeking you'll be accused of!
