A good friend of mine has lost her dad

She is only 23 and it was sort of a shock. He was in the hospital with pneumonia but was getting better and then suddenly took a turn for the worse and passed away She is coming to WDW with me the day after Thanksgiving. I hope that being with her friends and my parents will help her through this very, very difficult time. My heart just aches for her. he was so young, in his 40's, and she is devastated.

I have some idea of what she's going through.

I lost father when I was 17 .. 12 years ago this month. He was 49. His body finally gave up after spending almost a month in Intensive Care.

It's hurts SO bad .. but support from friends and family is crucial.

I hope she gets through it okay.

When my Dad passed away 8yrs ago my friend Tammie took me blueberry picking. Having something to do definately helped. I'll never forget the help she gave me.
She may not be in the usual Disney spirit but going away with you may be just the thing she needs.
