A Gem of a trip-quality, clarity, color and "Cut that out!" completed 8/4

I'm on the edge of my seat!

Sorry you were disappointed with the resort, but sounds like an awesome, relaxing end to the day!

OT - but I once took a cruise that required us to take smaller boats to the shore. On the way back to the boat we were caught in a storm. It was so foggy we couldn't see the ship and the waves were coming in from the side of the boat. It was TERRIFYING. People clapped when we finally made it back. pirate:

Nice update!
I get what you are saying about the WL. Wisconsin has a lot of hotels with a similar theme. Doug and I stay in cabins a lot also. So WL doesn't do anything for me either. I wish you would have had a better time at the cafe. Maybe it is the timimg as you are not the first to be disappointed.

I wasn't impressed with WL either, not sure what I was expecting but that wasn't it, I've also found that I'm obviously a snob as I love the GF :rotfl:

WCC was our worst meal of the trip so I'm glad you found the food OK, my DD was desperate to see the Cheetah Girls premiere as we didn't get it here for several months afterwards.

ANOTHER cliffhanger????

Well, I know how much you love them!

For now, I will throw my guesses out there!!

Breakfast, could it be Cape May? (I love Cape May!)
Brunt bearer, could it be DH? (that's who gets my brunt sad to say)

I took what you said to heart and we changed from WL to the Poly and we are mega happy that we'll be "in the tropics". The main complaint (comment? feeling?) I had when we were there for dinner at Artist Point, was that it was SO loud and chaotic in the lobby (at least when we were there).

NOPE not Cape May. It's closer.

I didn't notice the noise at WL. It just didn't excite me. I have a cottage. When I vacation I don't want rustic. Not even luxury rustic.

I'm sure you'll be happy at the Poly.

great update

funny about the straws being thrown down and she looked offended. even funnier you spit your shake .

Well, Nanny wasn't too pleased with me spitting my shake either. I got a look from her that made me feel 13 again.

The boat was quite small. I can totally see that happening.

It's not that I didn't like the resort. It was lovely and should I have to stay there I wouldn't be upset - it's just that I realized that the Lodge wasn't my dream resort after all. Of course either was POR.

Nice update!

We were so quick in the cafe. Because we had arrived early we knew what we wanted and ordered immediately. The food came before we were halfway done our milkshakes and since we were halfway done our milkshakes we weren't hungry and hardly ate and then took dessert to go. So the waiter didn't really have time. He was nice. He even made a few jokes but we were in and out so quick that the place was just starting to warm up.

I wasn't impressed with WL either, not sure what I was expecting but that wasn't it, I've also found that I'm obviously a snob as I love the GF :rotfl:

Oh yes, the race was on to see the Cheetah girls. Eeoyre and Cindy were so worried we were going to miss it they took their dessert home.

Maybe I'll have to try the GF. I know I'd like to do the Tea they have there one day.

My first attempt at adding pictures. These are from a photo session we had done for my parents for Christmas.

Hey there, hi there, ho there! Just popped over to read your trip report. Never realized you were doing one or I'da been here earlier. Sorry 'bout that. I can only blame me reading Peg's too fast and not looking at signatures. 11 pages?!? I know what I'll be doing this weekend! I'm gonna sit me down with a cup of coffee (or something) and have fun with this report!!! :rotfl2:

I always enjoy your witty comments on Peg's report so I'm glad to have you here. (okay maybe just a little scared)

Unlike Peg, you'll notice my children torture me as opposed to the other way around.

Now maybe if you took a page from my book and did "torture" (that's such a harsh word for fun time) your children perhaps they wouldn't torture you:rotfl2: :confused3

I figured I would wait to torture them. You know I have the classic baby in the buff bathtime shots to bring out to show their significant others. That sort of thing.

Which reminds me a friend of mine tortures her teenage sons when they make a poor life choice by making them listen to her read the book "I'll love you forever" to them. The real tragic part for the boys is that my friend can't get through a reading without crying (nor can I) and that is what sends her boys round the bend.

So I was planning on some torture. I just hadn't started yet.

Today I woke up with a horrible sinus headache. I had been battling it for days and had managed to keep it fairly quiet but this morning it retaliated with a deathlike grip and none of my over the counter medications could quiet it.

I also developed a blister. A fairly large blister on outside part of my left heel. Now I had taken the time to used bodyglide as well as moleskin and had three pairs of shoes that I interchanged. However, like the sinus pain, the blister just got bigger and more painful.

I did find that some kahlua in my coffee helped that morning somewhat. So I had two. That was two spiked coffees (decaf of course because who wants all those chemicals running amuck in your system says the pot calling the kettle black?) as well as 2 Tylenol, and 2 no-name sinus relief capsules.

We all had a sleep in morning. That means 7:30am passed and no one had to leave to go get a bus. It was almost 7:45 before the crowds started mumbling.

“Where to today mom?” grumbles Cindy half awake.

“We’re having a sleep-in morning remember?” I reply.

So naturally what does the girl do when given permission to go back to sleep? She wakes up. Eeoyre and Jedi soon follow suit. Dh ignores them.

By 8:45 Poppa has poked his head in and asked who wanted to go the pool with him? Cindy and Eeoyre jump ship and take off to join him.

I offer to get Nanny and Poppa some coffee from the food court (they hate the machine coffee which I think is nuts since that food court coffee was awful). Dh comes with me because he wants some “real food” and can’t wait until 10:30 for our ADR and feels that cereal in the room isn’t cutting it. Jedi stays in the rooms with Nanny to play Lego.

The first thing we notice when we open the door is there is some sun today. It causes me to squint, which causes me some sinus pain, which makes me think I need another spiked coffee. However, if I have another I will need to go to the washroom about six times before I make it to the food court from our room that is if I can continue to stand up and see straight as I have been drinking more kaluha than coffee I think. I mean who can tell really? It was dark when I started pouring.

Anyhow, I break out my sunglasses (which takes some time to find as I haven’t needed them in the last five days) and head off for my long walk down the winding road which has me grouchy as Oscar by the time I finally reach the food court as it is such a long walk and I my blister is killing me and I need to go to the bathroom really badly. So no romantic morning walk for us. I think Dh even attempted to take my hand at one point to have me bark at him. In hindsight I should have batted my eyelashes and had him piggyback me.

I leave Dh at the food court in search of the four food groups and take the even longer way back to the room through the main pool to drop off Poppa’s coffee. I do not swim. Not this time. I warn Poppa about the time. I err on the side of caution telling him he has to bring the kids back to change 15 minutes earlier than he really does, as I know what a pushover he is and that Eeoyre and Cindy will take advantage of him.

Eeoyre reminds me that he is not going down the slide.

“No one is going down it. It isn’t open yet” I reply.

“Yeah but I’m never going down it”

“Is that a fact?” I reply. Eeoyre gets his strong will from somewhere and that somewhere is me. So Eeoyre thinks he can win a stand off about a slide in the pool? We'll just have to see about that.

Almost as if Poppa can read what's going on in both our brains he chuckles to himself. Poppa has a whole lot of stubborn in himself as well and he recognizes it in both Eeoyre and myself.

I limp off towards the room leaving Eeoyre thinking he has won this battle. Poor dear doesn't realize that the battle has yet to begin. I yell at them to remember what time they have to leave the pool. There is a clock near the bathrooms so there is no excuse for being late.

I have a hot shower to try steam the sinus pain away. But to no avail. Before I am dressed Dh, Poppa and the kids arrive back.

We all scurry to get dressed and head out the door. Of course not without the prerequisite.

“I’m NOT going and you can’t make me” from Jedi. What is it with my kids and utimatiums?:confused3 Don't they know by now who they are up against?

Nanny coaxes him this morning. He is allowed to take some of his Lego figurines with him, as we aren’t going far.

We had ADR’s at Boatwrights for 10:30. From a few tables you can actually see the river. Not from ours though.

We walked (I hobbled) and were on time but still had to wait. Cindy was eyeing up the hair wrapping station as we waited. She had it done last time and wanted it again. There was no lineup but since we didn’t know when we were called and Cindy’s hair would take at least 15 minutes she would have to wait. She wasn’t pleased. There was some sulking.

However all was happy when she learned she could have a smoothie with her breakfast. She loves smoothies. There is not much this girl will drink. Right now she will only drink particular raspberry flavored water, the kid yogurt smoothies and occasionally some apple juice. Even as a baby she barely breastfed, as a toddler she would drink half a juice cup a day and now as a child still barely drinks. She loves fruit of all kinds so we push as much as possible instead.

I joined her in a strawberry smoothie. It would have been better if it was spiked. Just my opinion. Here we are drinking our smoothies!

Here is Poppa joking around. He is obviously happy to see the sun as well.

But the meal was saved by my sweet potato pancakes. I copied the description from allearsnet.com

Sweet Potato Cakes - with honey-pecan butter and choice of bacon, sausage, or ham

They were melt in your mouth delicious. I had read about them on the disboards earlier and thought I would like to try them. Even through my sinus pain I enjoyed them. I'm sorry I didn't take a picture of them.

Jedi had the French toast. He was still cranky. We should have spiked his drink too I guess.:rotfl2: Cindy and Eeoyre had the Mickey pancakes. This was the first children’s meal that was too small for Eeoyre. He was still hungry and so we needed to share some of our meals with him. Luckily he wasn’t interested in my sweet potato pancakes. I doubt if I would have shared them with him anyway.

Dh got an omelet and Nanny and Poppa got some sort of breakfast special that had a little bit of everything (egg, bacon and regular pancakes).

No one enjoyed their food quite the way I did but they agreed it was a nice meal and since it was close it won extra points for its location. They would have happily eaten a dinner here. But we had other places to check out so it was not to be. At least not on this trip. But each time I passed by the restaurant I thought lovingly of my sweet potato pancakes.

Up next a mini-mommy meltdown, more Lego, more shopping and more sun! Click here http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=30024319&postcount=575

Breakfast sounds yummy!! I love pancakes of all kinds.
Glad to hear more sun is on the way ~ Hope the sinus pain goes away!
(and can you believe all this snow....)

The sinus pain hangs on and on and on. So does the blister.

This snow is unbearable. I drove Jedi to a b-day party at the movies in Bowmanville this afternoon through white outs on the 401.

However I have 41 sleeps until Myrtle beach and 83 days until Disney to look forward to.

Seriously! It's getting to be a wee bit much with all the snow. So glad you made it to the party and back ok, albeit white knuckled?!?
It's pretty to look at but when you have to go out, ick.
LM went out & got all of our Super Bowl snacks today so we are set for tomorrow.

I would love to hear about Myrtle Beach! And yes the thought of our Disney trips keeps us going, doesn't it?

xoxoxo

yum yum sweet potato pancakes. I had those there the morning we left on our cruise. I also read the description on allears and a friend told me about them too and it was a great way to kill some time before leaving on our cruise. Allears had the recipe but I haven't tried to make them yet.

great update and pics.

MMMM, Boatwright's. I love that place. But am also happy with Riverside Mill.

Afternoon Relaxing

After breakfast Dh had a hankering for more Lego. He had promised Jedi a particular Star Wars Lego building set for his birthday and the Lego store was out of it last time we went. He had been calling faithfully each day to see if it was in stock. I suspect he wanted it more than Jedi. So Dh took the two boys off to Lego store.

Nanny, Cindy and I hit the Hotel gift shop. Poppa went back to the room to digest his breakfast aka a nap.

I ended spending over $40 so I could get the special the store was advertising. A Disney Tote bag for $10 when you spend $40. I bought the new Little Mermaid DVD and a photo album to give Nanny and Poppa for Christmas. I use my bag everyday back and forth from school. That and my refillable mug. I bought a whack of Tinkerbell pens on a rope at a dollar store once and I wear one everyday around my neck. Everyone at school knows anything with a Disney icon on it belongs to me. Even all the kids. The great thing is that if I happen to lose my mug somewhere in the school it magically ends up back in my room as people will bring it back to me. The bad thing is that once we had a supply teacher at our school who had a refillable mug too and one of the grade ones were so upset that she was using Ms. Diamonds mug she had a full out fit.

But back to this trip. We also picked up our packages from Epcot a few days before. It took the staff quite some time to find our packages, which made me nervous. Apparently the mix up came about because the CM at Epcot had put our first name in the last name box and it was filed under my first name.

By this time all my medication for my sinus pain had worn off. Nanny had headed back to the room before Cindy and I and Cindy was getting shopping twitches. The DVD just wasn’t enough for her. She wanted to buy more. She wasn’t sure what exactly just that we had been in a store for over 30 minutes and she needed to spend some of my money. I could tell she wasn’t attached to anything she was suggesting so I said “NO”.

She already had the crown (which she never has worn), the nightgown from Mexico, the sparkly shoes (again never worn), the mermaid DVD, the Leia polly pocket and a bucket of Lego. She was in a funk. I had a sinus headache.

On the way out we passed the hair wrapping station. Okay I caved. I said she could do it. There were two people in front of her and the lady at the station said it would be 20 minutes.

Cindy lost it. She slumped, she frumped and stamped her foot and crossed her arms.

Now it was my time to lose it. Only Mommies aren’t supposed to lose it and I’m not proud of myself. I grabbed her arm and lead her into a corner away from the booth. I leaned into her, pointed my finger at her and yelled at her for being selfish, spoiled and ungrateful.

As I write this it all sounds okay. But it really wasn’t. I had lost my temper. I wasn’t rational. My face felt as if it was going to burst both with the headache and the anger.

Yes, she was being selfish, spoiled and ungrateful but I was being irrational, mean, and nasty with the way I was treating her now. The hallways in the main building are all glass. I’m sure many people saw me bend over red faced yelling at Cindy.

Then I went one over the top. I told her it was now or never with the hair wrapping. I’m beginning to see where my kids get the ultimatum thing from. She choose never. Well actually she never spoke just “Hummpfted” which really gets my goat. The boys never stop talking and telling me what is wrong but she just stops all verbal communication. I was lucky to get even that guttural murmur.

Now that I look back I see that there was no way she would have chosen to stay and do her hair. How could she go back to the booth? How could I? I put her in a situation where she couldn’t win. That wasn’t right of me. I abused my power.

We walked back me hobbling on my blister, holding my head, and muttering to myself and Cindy with arms still crossed about 12 paces behind me. She tried to take a different a route back to the hotel than I. I had to stop her. As much as I wanted to get away from her I knew a 7 year old shouldn’t be wandering around the resort on her own. I screeched at her that she had to stay with me and that I didn’t like her much right now either and would be happy to go part our own ways once we reached the room.

At the room, I downed a glass of water. When I’m thirsty I’m cranky and maybe that was part of the reason I reacted so severely. I took more medicine and finally calmed down.

I confessed my sin to Nanny. She “tsked tsked” me. That was all she had to say to make me feel guilty and bring me to my senses. The morose sank into my system. I read a few chapters of my book to keep my mind off my behavior.

Nanny kept Cindy in her room for a bit. She said a little separation might be best right now. She told me later she had a talk with Cindy and reprimanded her as well for her behavior.

About 15 minutes or so later Poppa popped his head in my room.

“You okay now?” He never was one for many words.

“Yes, I’ve calmed down” I nodded.

“Cindy and I are going to head to the pool. Can you hand me her bathing suit?”
I brought her her bathing suit and apologized to her. She apologized back and we hugged. Then Poppa took her to the pool and Nanny had a little talk with me.

After our talk, I walked the refillable mugs to the food court again and then headed to the pool. Nanny was at the pool by now. Soon after Dh and the boys arrived. They still hadn’t found the Star Wars item but were happy nonetheless. They all had their bathing suits on so we all got to swim together in the sun.

We took some pictures.

This was Nanny's last day with us and although it is usually hotter for her to go into the water she probably felt that this was as good as it was going to get.

I'm probably telling Dh about my morning here.

So there it is folks. Mommy meltdown #1. There is another one to come. Stay tuned. It’s bigger and even more public.

Up next we eat with the fishes and Cindy talks to a Turtle. Click here http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=30030126&postcount=578

We go to Myrtle Beach each spring break with a bunch of other families. We just hang out and relax. The kids are never bored as they have tons of friends to play with. It's nice to get away from the weather here (especially this year) but I get bored. I'm a planner and there is just so much nothingness that happens in Myrtle that I start to go stir crazy. Dh loves every relaxed moment of it so I try to keep it plan-free for him. It kills me but I try.

Okay-you like every restaurant. The big test is-Did Biff like Boatwrights?

:grouphug: :grouphug: Give yourself more credit, you are about 100x more patient than most parents! Sometimes we as parents lose it, you and Cindy got over it very quickly. Your parents are wonderful too :grouphug: :grouphug: LOVE the pool pics, fun! :flower3:

By 2:15 the main pool had gotten too crowded for the Diamond clan. We moved to the smaller pool near our building.

We didn’t leave without teasing Eeoyre. Even Poppa got in on it.

“Want to go down the slide before we leave?” he asked Eeoyre.

Eeoyre shot him a look that meant no. So we packed up all our pool toys and snacks and moved on.

There were maybe two other families there. One that had the fresh excitement of just arriving. I spent some time watching them. I figured they had four kids under 6. The father was still unpacking their vehicle while the mother took the four of them swimming. Two in water wings and two in blow-up floaty things. Boy did she have her hands full. Once again I felt bad for loosing it on Cindy today. I had nothing to worry about compared to this woman.

My head was pounding again and I wanted to take a shower and start getting ready for dinner so I headed back into the room. Dh followed me. He had some romantic ideas. I had a headache.

All too soon Nanny and Poppa and the three kids exploded into the room. Apparently the sun had held off the rain as long as it could and lightening and thunder had closed the pools.

I washed Cindy’s hair which take some time when she had been swimming a lot and dressed us all back into our matching black and white Mickey and Minnie shirts. We had an ADR for Coral Reef for 4:30.

It wasn’t raining when we left but definitely gloomy. The Epcot bus was the 2nd bus that stopped.

Here we are on the bus.
907d8e8e.jpg

It started pouring rain the moment we crossed the turnstiles at Epcot. So on went those rain ponchos again. Eeoyre was pretty upset that Cindy had a new poncho and he was still wearing the old original one.

“And can’t you see that I’m too big to be wearing a kid poncho? Just look at the back of my shorts. They are soaked. I want a big poncho.” He continued on in this manner all the way to the restaurant. Because in case you didn’t notice we had no trouble getting ready to go out and we hardly had any wait for the bus so you just knew that someone had to have a meltdown in there somewhere. Thankfully Eeoyre obliged. Dh finally told him to be quiet. We all got new ponchos the next day. I threw these ones out-much to Dh’s dismay.

The restaurant seemed eerie in the darkness of the rain clouds. It was cold and clammy and a lot smaller than I had envisioned it being. The kids were a bit spooked. Which kept them quiet so I didn’t complain. But I was cold, I did have a bad blister and that blasted sinus headache. So I might of complained.

We had to wait to be seated about 20 minutes even though we were on time. Since we were one of the first seatings of the day I was surprised by this.

We didn’t get to sit right next to the aquarium but it was still a good view. A horrible picture but a good view.

afba5815.jpg

We made Eeoyre try something new on the menu tonight. This is big for Eeoyre. You don’t often see the words new and Eeoyre in the same sentence. We all made a big deal out of it. He wasn’t thrilled about trying it. But Eeoyre loves fish. Not breaded fish sticks but actual fish. So we made him try the kids Mahi-mahi. He was skeptical but attempted it and now he says mahi-mahi is his favorite fish.

The meals came with a Lobster soup. I had forgotten about it but Eeoyre is over my shoulder right now reminding me. Dh tried to make Eeoyre try it. He wouldn't. So maybe that would be why it was easy to get Eeoyre to try the fish. It looked alot safer than lobster soup.

I didn’t record what I eat. I think I had the adult Mahi-mahi. I only noted that coral reef had normal sized portions and that I felt full without feeling stuffed and guilty about leaving tons of food on my plate.

I know I had this for dessert.

Baileys and Jack Daniel's Mousse* - topped with a ganache and chocolate cigar

If sweet potato pancakes were the “bomb” than this baileys and JD mousse was the bombdiggity. It was so good. I know I took a picture of it but I can’t find it now. You know it had to be good if I took a food porn picture because I haven’t taken any before. Okay there was the picture of Dh with the potato casserole but he was in the picture eating it. Let’s just say it was darn good. I was on a chocolate high.

Since dinner was early, the night was still young. Of course Eeoyre had had enough. He was still afraid of tropical storms and of illuminations. He really hates fireworks. I convinced him that he would enjoy strolling through innovations. For one it was inside and safe from both storms and fireworks and two they had the wii. Something Eeoyre has been after us to get for a while. Not to worry, Santa brought it this year. I wouldn’t want you to think deprive my poor children.

So that took care of Eeoyre. Cindy and Jedi wanted to do Crush. So we headed to the Seas. Nemo was a run on again. It took us longer to take our ponchos off at the entrance than it did to run through the queue.

We walked into a half empty room for Turtletalk with Crush. Cindy was called on by Crush. She was thrilled. Cindy asked, “What is your favorite color”

“I don’t know little lady. What’s yours?”

Cindy thought for a bit and replied, “I don’t know”

Then Crush asked her “What’s your favorite food?”

Again Cindy thought for a bit and answered, “I don’t know”
So Crush tried again “Well, what did you have for lunch?”

If you think back to our day we didn’t really have lunch. We had brunch at 10:30 and then dinner at 4:30. So Cindy didn’t know what to answer. She went again with.

“I don’t know”

“Well, what did you have for breakfast?”

“I can’t remember” was her answer this time.

“Humm, yeah well life is tough some time. I often forget too. Hey, by the way, do you know my friend Dory?”

Crush went on to the next child.

Dh and I were mortified that Cindy couldn’t remember anything she ate today but not Cindy. She was thrilled just to talk to him. She was so pumped up.

We spent some time exploring the tanks after that. The kids and Dh get a big kick out of it. I kept trying to move them on as we were going to Seaworld on Monday and would see more of this then. I might as well have been talking to myself. So finally I gave in and enjoyed just watching them watch.

After they had their fill we talked about our next plan. Cindy wanted to go back to Mexico and do the ride the boys went on while she was shopping. Jedi wanted to go to soaring again. Dh was trying to talk him into Test Track. Anyhow it was clear that we needed to split up. So Cindy and I left them.

I heard later that they walked to Test Track but the wait was 80 minutes so they did Mission Space instead. Whichever one is the quieter version. I haven’t done it. Then they headed home after.

I now that Eeoyre, Nanny and Poppa did indeed make it to inventions. That they found the wii and that they looked around for all of 15 minutes before Eeoyre got anxious and wanted to go back to the room.

Well, Cindy and I had a full night. We practically closed the park. We went to Mexico and rode the ride. We skipped the shops. We saw the Chinese acrobats. We missed half their show looking for them as it was still raining so they moved indoors. We felt bad that Eeoyre missed them. The first thing Cindy said to me was “Eeoyre would have loved this!”

We got a strawberry slushy at the outpost and attempted to walk the world. I got a crepe in France. It was just okay. Cindy looked at the bakery in France but nothing there excited her.

We had a photopass photographer take our picture in France. Here we are.

Francesiggy.jpg

Then I let Cindy pick a pearl in Japan. It was a pinkish 6 ¾ one. We choose a setting for a necklace for $32 and since I knew we would be back at Epcot tomorrow I said we would be back tomorrow to pick it up. We looked around a bit after that but didn’t buy anything. We were trying to make it to Mousegears before illuminations but didn’t quite make it. Besides we were too pooped to shop. My head was pounding again and my blister was beyond pounding. It was just numb.

But not too pooped to miss another photopass opportunity. We had this taken on our way out.

Epcotsiggy.jpg

We did make the bus just as the fireworks were starting. See what a good Diser I am. I knew how to avoid the crowds just skip the fireworks. As we headed towards the back of the bus to sit by the warmth of those back seats I heard

“Do you Dis?” in an English accent.

It took me awhile to respond. I’m sure she had to repeat herself but it was DisneyJo and her family. DisneyJo had noticed the limegreen mickeyhead on my bag.

She had just returned from a large dismeet. I did recognize her name but not the other’s she mentioned she was meeting. I told her I was doing a trip report and she said she would look for it.

We talked for a few moments before I collapsed into the seat beside Cindy. I wish I had taken more time to talk to her but I was just so tired.

Tomorrow we would be Nannyless. Magic Express was picking her up at 4am Yuck! But when I got back to the room I found this by my phone.

A 2008 pin for each of the kids.

I also found the flower pendant for me. I know I took a picture of it but I can't seem to find it right now.

Anyhow, Thanks Nanny!

I had a hot tea and a hot bath in hopes of steaming out my sinus pain before heading to bed.

Up next how would we fare without our matriarchal head? And the Mother of all Meltdowns. It’s finally arrived. Who pushed me to the edge? Click here to find out. http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=30079066&postcount=587

:grouphug: :grouphug: Give yourself more credit, you are about 100x more patient than most parents! Sometimes we as parents lose it, you and Cindy got over it very quickly. Your parents are wonderful too :grouphug: :grouphug: LOVE the pool pics, fun! :flower3:

Thanks for the kind words.

Two installments in one day, I'm so excited:cool1:
Well, I have to agree, even if you were yelling, you took her to a quiet corner to "discuss" things. We all do it, we all reach a breaking point at some point:cool1: We're never proud of it and you did apologize. Everything is better when you have hindsight!:rotfl: :rotfl:
You even had one on one time with her after:) See it all worked out.

Here's your mousse. QoaT had it and she swears she had it the year before and the glass was full!

A slightly clearer shot of your mousse.

I'm really sorry you had such a headache and a blister. What a double whammy! How will you survive without Nanny. You'll have no one to balme for being late or slowing you down....oh wait that what dh is for right?:rotfl2:
