2 MORE DAYS


I love the picture of our little Jess.
I know she will love all the surpises you have planned for her.
I wish we could be there just to see her face and yours. I know this means so much for you to do this for her. You are truly a dear treasured sister.

How are you feeling?

At the moment i am feeling pretty stressed out! i am still resorting to Gatorade to keep my sodium levels up but it seems to be working and i am generally feeling well. Just stressed! i'm happy to be done with work for 13 whole days, despite the torture it will be to go back!

Well, this is it: the last update. i have decided that although i am bringing my computer with me on this trip (as i almost always do), i will not be doing a live trip report. i thought about it, tried to decide, thought some more, and finally decided that while i'll be making notes every day i'd rather wait til i come home to write the report. So i'll be around and y'all will hear from me (try to keep me from the DIS, lol!).

Now, on to the update. First i'd like to say, this update is brought to you by the really yummy grilled cheese sandwich and tomato soup i had for dinner when i got home from work.

Today on the way to work i walked through Memorial Park and took some pictures using my new camera in "Snow" mode. i would have used "ridiculously cold" mode but it doesn't have one. i'm pretty sure my fingers will thaw sometime.

Doesn't the snow look beautiful? i think i'm in with this camera.

As i write this i am sitting with a head full of dye. Yes, i admit it, i dye my hair. In the last year alone it has been black with purple streaks, black with pink streaks, all black, all burgundy, black with copper streaks, black with orangey yucky streaks, then black with red streaks. However it had settled in the last few weeks into a really yucky looking partially-grown-out orange streaked brown-and-black, so i bought some more subdued pink dye (my boss doesn't like pink streaks) and coated my orange streaks with it. i quite liked it but it was only temporary and has since faded back to orange, so i'm doing it again now. When i come back from Disney i'll have to have it properly done as my roots are just ghastly.

Jess also washed her hair today (declining pink streaks) and combed it out herself and is quite pleased with both herself and her hair.

We are slowly approaching "packed". Some things obviously can't go in until tomorrow morning, but most of the rest of the stuff is in there. i think. :confused2 You never really know, do you, until all's said and done and you get there and open your suitcase and go... where are the pajamas? :confused2

i have the money and the tickets, what else matters?

UPDATE (a few hours have passed) The suitcases are now REALLY mostly packed, and Jess is on her way to bed. i have another hour or so of messing around before i too will try to sleep. i'm looking at the pile of stuff on the bed that's supposed to fit into my purse and laptop bag and thinking gellybean might've been right when she said i should stuff it all into a bigger carryon and not worry about the purse. We'll see. i LOVE that purse it's my Mickey purse.

Anyway i am going to wrap up this PTR now. We are leaving in the morning! In 36 hours we will be on the plane to Disney!!! i am sooooo excited. i'll be in touch once we arrive and get settled into our room, let y'all know we made it okay.

Wonderful news!! I thought about them Friday night when I was going through all my WDW stuff! I thought OMG Sare and Jess are there right now ! I hope their having a great time!!!!
