I think my Mt. Everest in food photography is buffet food. It is so hard to make it look good. I hope I can climb and conquer when I eat at 1900 Park Fare and Cape May in a week! :)

Your pictures are fantastic, Rosey...truly some of the best I have ever seen here! (and I've been around these boards for about 12 years now ;) ) Your trip is almost here...how exciting!!! :cool1:

Thank you so much, Barb. That is such an incredible compliment. I will try and take the best pics I can soon. I can't wait to photograph the sushi at California Grill.
I am starting my food journal tonight and get it ready for the trip. :)

Agreed with everyone. Not only can you cook amazing food, but you make all these real world dishes completely worth drooling over! :cloud9:

I can't wait to see what you can do with Disney food. :goodvibes

Yum your pictures are making me want to have a second dinner tonight :rotfl: Have a great trip!!

WOW, your food photos are...well, I feel there isn't a word invented yet to describe how amazing they are :goodvibes And you aren't even at Disney yet. This is going to be one heck of a dining review!!

I went to disney world in my 20's, stayed at All Star Music and didnt like it much, it was too much walking. Then later in my 20's went again twice at Old Key West, and still too much walking. Then took my stepkids and stayed outside the park, it was such a hassle, I vowed not to go back till my kids were 8 and 10. Well, after begging from my little ones, we went when they were 6 and 8, stayed at Port Orleans and loved it. Within three months returning home booked the next year at Bay lake Tower, it was incredible, and to my shock I cried my eyes out as the magical express pulled up to take us back to the airport. Not even home a month now, and I have another trip planned for August of next year, again at Bay Lake Tower, and some days at Animal Kingdom Lodge. So, I guess I am proof you may never want to vacation anywhere else. It took me some time, but now, I want to live there!

Oh, and by the way, we do the deluxe dining plan every time. We eat one late breakfast or early lunch and do a signature restaurant at night. We have hit all of them except Bistro D'Paris, Jiko, and Victoria and Alberts (probably because its not on the dining plan), but our favorite is Fultons Crab House, Wolfgang Puck, California Grill, Narcossees!!

Thank you so much, DDW. I have a small notebook to keep my foodie notes and am making sure I pack my two 32GB memory cards. I swear it is looking like most of my vacation pics will be food. Lol.

Thank you so much!! I can't barely wait the five days left. I will be taking so many food pics. Soooooo many!

Thank you so much, you are too sweet! I can't wait to snap a pic, eat, then take notes on each meal! XD

I think I already know I will fall hopelessly in love with WDW. Yup, it is likely to happen. I only have Hollywood Derby, Cali Grill, and V&As on my list of signature dining. I hope I can return and hit all the restaurants. :)

My last bit of food porn before we leave- Homemade Ma po Tofu Soup

Your trip is getting so close! Have a wonderful time and I can't wait to read your report and drool over more of your amazing pics! Who knows, we may even see you there, we arrive on the 26th. :goodvibes

Hope you have a magical time! Between the snacks, the signatures, and everything in between, I can't wait to hear what you think of the food. Less than a week to go! :cool1:

It is! I have been doing last minute researching into more photography techniques. I can't wait. I hope my appetite is super healthy on this trip. I will need to run to Walmart and grab a few pairs of stretchy pants. Lol. Where will you be on the 26th? We are planning to hang out at the Hollywood Studios that day.

Thank you so much for the words of encouragement, DDW. I am going to look for a gorilla tripod if I can find one before we leave. I am totally psyching myself up to take great pics,

Good plan regarding the stretchy pants! You want to have lots of room for all the goodies you'll be enjoying. :rotfl: The 26th will be a no-park day for us, we're just going to relax at the resort, get unpacked and then head to DTD for some shopping and dinner. We'll be in Epcot on the 27th, MK on the 28th and HS on the 29th. Are you staying at POFQ? If so, maybe we'll see you around the resort. :thumbsup2

Yes! I will be staying at the POFQ. It seems to surreal to me that I am going soon. My memories of WDW are a bit foggy even though I went twice. I will see you around I hope! :)

pixiedust: HOPE YOU HAVE A MAGICAL TRIP TO DISNEY WORLD
AND
A WONDERFUL BELATED HONEYMOON, ROSEY!!!

Can't wait to see the beautiful pictures that you will be taking for your Dining Report! :thumbsup2

If practicing gets you photos like that I'm going to start taking pictures of everything I eat! :rotfl2: Every time I look at your photos I'm suddenly starving. So really it's your fault that I have to leave my desk now to walk over to the bakery! ;)

I am having a fabulous time! I have two blisters already, lol. I have also started pacing myself better with the eating. Deluxe dining is coma inducing. I had to really be choosy in what I eat and how much. Good news though, I still fit into my clothes, Brenda. :)

Thank you so much Barb for the well wishes. So far, I had two quite outstanding meals from Le Cellier and Via Napoli. Day One was very stressful and dicey but it did work out eventually in the end. I only have one iffy pic in the batch and the rest are up to snuff. Will be heading to Y&Y and Raglan Road for the rest of the day. The food might be okay in some places but the service across the board has been nothing short of excellent.
