It was great! I am such a baby because next to Soarin' this was the highlight of the day for me.

My mom was the only stick in the mud. She wouldn't try it. Two busy eating her roasted pecans Those were so good.

Woo Hoo ! World showcase! We were hungry (again) so first stop Mexico. We stopped at Cantina de San Angel and had a combo platter with a chicken taco, beef burrito and a quesadilla and refried black beans. As Teddy would say, “We made Happy Plates!!”

The kids did the Kidcot station. I should also mention I found some great passports to make on the The Creative Community Board, and the kids loved them. I will try to find a picture of them later.

Goofy sombrero pics…

Then we did the Grand Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros. This was big with Paw Paw because he can remember watching the cartoons as a young kid.

Teddy said “Look Mommy It’s A Small World!”

Next up …uh Norway I think.

No I didn't see them. I do remember Bird kept picking up glass stuff (I think it may have been trivets) and I was in a panic that she would break one. And Teddy seemed to think that maracas were for bashing together. I swear they were like bulls in a china shop!

We rode Maelstrom but I have no pictures. While in line for this, Teddy fell asleep in my arms and didn’t wake up until we boarded the boats. Then it was the usual panic. “Does this ride go fast? Why is it so dark? I’m scared. Is there a waterfall?” After holding his heavy butt for 15 minutes, I was not in the mood. Oh well.

On to China…

You can see their fancy Passports in this pic. I wish I could remember the name of the person I got them from. They are really cute.

I really wanted to browse more in this shop. But the constant “Don’t touch that! Don’t swing from that ! Don’t eat that!” had me walking out the door.

We just missed the America show by 15 minutes and this guy was a real stick in the mud.

Then on to Morocco ! Where we met this guy…

For some reason, he did not want to take Teddy’s sharpie. And Teddy really wanted him to sign with HIS sharpie. The photopass girl finally told me the green sharpie was a no no. I know I had heard this before but had forgotten.

These girls were really nice. They talked to the kids and let them ask questions. Really cool.

We hit France (no pictures?!?) and took a break. Paw Paw and Bird played a game of rock paper scissors.

And Teddy Bear took a nap…

NOT !!

We then stopped and had some Fish and Chips. I really wanted these because I remember them being really good the last time we were here in 2003. Well, either I was mistaken or they have really changed. All that got eaten was the chips.

Then on to Canada !

We had a big disappointment here. After a very long and eventful day, we are at our last country and the lady tells Bird that they are no longer offering the mini-poster because so many people were “disappointed” in the poster. Bird was really upset. She had been looking forward to this. Of course, I was not one to let it rest and they told me I could try another country but they just didn’t offer it anymore. I couldn’t bring myself to drag the kids all over to find this poster. They were tired, so we left. But don’t worry I didn’t let this end here.

I didn't know about the green sharpies...since you were in Morrocco, I was guessing that it was a religious thing...and all I could think of was how as kids we'd avoid eating the green M&Ms!!

We always ate at the fish and chips shop before for a quick snack. However, when we went in Sept, I was disappointed by the amount of food for our counter-service credit. I think it was only 2 (maybe 3?) small pieces of fish and some fries and a small (like 1.5 x 1") cookie/biscuit for dessert.

I loved all the pictures of your kids at the KidCot stations...I'm sure that's in our future!
