Yeah! I got to see the AK parade...haven't seen this one yet.

That picture of the other girl in the stroller eyeing the Mickey Bar is great! You should post on the Blooper/Funny Photo thread!

So Paw Paw would check out of Disney for football?! What was it, the Superbowl?? Just Kidding...always better to have someone leave who wants to go than to drag them kicking and screaming! (learning this with my DH His Disney tank always fills up before mine; but then again, my Disney tank has a leak so it can never fill up! )

A Mickey ice cream bar would be wonderful right now!

The parade passes and we walk on. We stop to check these guys out. You can’t see them real good but they are otters.

We walk on and hit the parade again ?!?! Yep. There’s Mickey.

I even did a double take on this one. I was really confused. And then we had to wait for the hundreds of people that followed the parade. I’ve never understood that either, but oh well.

The kids hit the jungle drums. Another favorite…

Thanks ! Teddy was very scared at first in the Bug Show. I just held his hand and I told him that if he got to scared to shut his eyes. He tends to panic at first and then look at you and say that was it?

Ah the otter thing. There was like a tunnel you went through and they were at one end trying to see them. We kept calling him to come to the other end because they were swimming our way but he was being obstinate and by the time he got by us they were gone. It was a Looong day and at this point he was just really tired.

If I could have tied a feed bag of chips around her face, she would probably let me do it.

Hmmm Yeti...I wonder.

On to Asia !

Sometime around here, we received a phone call from Paw Paw. He forgot about the time difference and left just a wee bit early for the watching of the Super Bowl. Don’t tell him but as soon as Sugar hung up, we all had a good laugh.

That’s what he gets for choosing football over Disney !

Random pictures I took…

We walk over to Expedition Everest. I have never ridden and didn’t expect to do this one. I asked Sugar is she was interested. She said yes so we checked and it was a 20 or 30 minute wait. We decided to try the parent swap since even though I love to torture my children, I think this would be too much for Teddy (I’m not even sure if he is tall enough). After I talk to the CM (I’d never done parent swap before), a lady walks up to me and asks if I wanted her two fast passes because they weren’t going on again. Score ! Love the Disney Magic at work.
So Bird and I go on…

And Bird gets to be the timer!

Well, that excited smile was gone fast. Bird really got scared on this ride. She said she liked it, but I think she really thought the coaster was going off the track!
We got off this ride and by the time we caught up with Sugar, Bird started to cry. She said she had a headache, and to be honest I did too. It was a really long day. I calmed her down and we went into the gift shop and drank water.

Her is Sugar getting off the ride --- She loved it ! Unfortunately, the Yeti got her picture !

It was definitely time to go home. One last look…

Then we see Minnie !

At this point, Teddy Bear said Ooooh a lap! Poor Minnie!

Bird was nicely recovered, so I put her to work.

Ahhhh! Expedition Everest is so much fun!! My dad went on and nearly had a panic attack! DH and I went on 5 or 6 times in a row and were dying to do just one more!

Sorry, Bird and you did not like it...maybe next time when Bird's a little older?

I bet Sugar was a little intimidated to go on it after you? Glad she had a chance to go on it and liked it.

Your kids sure perked up when they saw Minnie! That is a super-terrific photo of both kids and Minnie (and your DS on her lap!)

The parade looks fun. And that mickey ice cream looks yummo! The drums look fun too. That's cool that they take photopass pictures there.

We actually liked Expedition Everest ! It was just such a long day and we had done so much. A little over stimulated, exhausted, etc. Next time we do it first!!

Well I guess maybe the pic didn't come out or something like that. They say that on the Buzz Light year ride. That Zurg "zapped" your picture. We looked for hers and it wasn't there I think.

The next day I woke the kids bright and early.

Look they are having sweet dreams of Disney ….

I said Get Up!!

Epcot !!

Very foggy this morning.

Parking picture.

We got there before rope drop, and waited and waited and waited.

Don’t even ask me about this outfit. I wanted her to wear her Disney shirt. She wanted to wear her pink skirt. I said Hey pink and purple Why not? Later when I looked at the pictures, I wondered what I was thinking.

I grabbed the Photopass guy…

We saw these guys…

And headed straight for this…

I thought all the monkeys were over in Animal Kingdom?

Let me tell you, I can’t believe I have been going to Disney all these years and missed Soaring. It was worth it to go to Epcot just for this ride. We will never skip Epcot again. Teddy Bear especially loved it. We flew just like Peter Pan !!

Paw Paw was hungry and the kids chimed in, so we stopped and had breakfast. Not sure the name of the place, but it wasn’t that great only so-so. We had little breakfast plates with hash browns, eggs etc. Sugar had a croissant.
