A few YC questions

Just booked my first ever deluxe stay at YC and now I'm wondering about a few things:

1. How's the bus transportation? I've heard that it can be slow to get to MK, AKL, and DTD.
2. I think it's cool that you can walk to Epcot but any disadvantages to entering from the International Gateway?
3. On park days we do rope drop, so for breakfast so we like to do something quick in the room. When we stayed at moderates, DH would walk over to the food court and get bananas and pastries and coffee and tea in our refillable mugs. Can he do that somewhere at YC or will he have to walk over to BC? If so, how long a walk is it?

Thanks!

Thanks!

Have fun & enjoy :goodvibes:goodvibes

1. I've ridden the YC/BC bus loop on several occasions, if you travel during a very slow time - dead of January for example - I've found it occasionally slowish.. but then again, I feel that way about Disney transportation for the most part. Remember it's likely to be slower than you think.

2. I can't think of any.. there is something to be said for 'main entrance' for the 'first ever visit' -- but after that.. they keep a walkway open that let's you get down to the non-World Showcase bits of Epcot at rope drop. I'm not sure how the IG works for EMH mornings however. Hopefully someone can chime in on that.

3. There is definitely stuff like this at YC -- pretty sure. If that's not the case on your visit, its an extremely quick walk. IN fact, some rooms at YC are *almost* closer to the food area at BC and vice versa.. just kinda how it works based on the layout.

Do not like the buses at any of the Epcot resorts because they all share and it takes forever and they fill up fast.

Getting to Soarin is a huge pain but if you are just going for the countries its great

The BC marketplace is not close to the YC and items can get cold. You can get pastries and coffee in the bar in the lobby of the YC. The

All that being said the YC is one of our favorite resorts because it is so quiet and relaxing.
