Alright Im pretty good at figuring timing out but I would appreciate some input! The first question is regarding making it from Magic Kingdom to Hollywood Studios in time for Fantasmic. I have a FP 7:40-8:40pm Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Fantasmic! is at 9:00pm. Will I make it? Also on the same note, the Star Wars Fireworks are at 9:45pm (will I get a good spot/be able to see the Fireworks from Hollywood Boulevard (if I go to that 9:00pm Fantasmic?). Am I better off just skipping Fantasmic!? I will then be heading back to MK for PM EMH. How quickly will I make it back to MK?
Thanks for the input guys!

Personally I'd say you were probably cutting it a bit close for getting to HS from MK in that time frame. Even if you entered 7DMT 5 mins early you probably won't be out of the ride until 7.50 (depending on how busy it is) then it's going to be after 8pm by the time you get physically out of the park. You don't mention what transportation you'd be using but if using the buses, there's no guarantee one will arrive promptly and the same can be said for the boat/monorail if you intend to drive.

If I were you I'd try to move your FP to earlier if possible or if you ca,n save Fantasmic/SW Fireworks for another night. Personally I don't enjoy the shows as much when I'm rushing to get to them because I get so stressed about being late. Also exiting HS to get back to MK for EMH won't be pleasant either. I imagine the SW Fireworks are the last thing before park close so everyone will be exiting after meaning lines for the buses will be big.

With regards to seeing the fireworks after Fantasmic, sit near the exit of Fantasmic and leave about 5 early. You may get a spot on Holywood Blvd but probably not a good one. We walked around to the Lagoon and sat near the tables by the boat there. The fireworks are great and not to be missed!

I think you're cutting it way too close with your fp and getting to hs. Even if you go at the start you have to figure fp may not be walk on, you have to exit the park, wait for a bus (or worse, head to ttc and get your car), get to hs, and fantasmic isn't exactly super close to get to.

I wouldn't skip fantasmic if you've never seen it before, or if its been years.

I can't help with the star wars fireworks, as we've never seen them, but when they did the frozen summer of fun fireworks it seemed like there wasn't a bad viewing spot. My favorite actually ended up being right outside 50's prime time (by the water). It was a great view and really uncrowded. We ended up getting tired and not staying and even outside the park exit was a great view! We ended up watching them from there as we waited for a boat back to our hotel!

I agree that you are cutting it very close to making it to Fantasmic that night. Depending on what you are considering as a good viewing spot for the fireworks, it depends if you can get a good one- if you want one front and center then no, if you just want to be able to see them all then you should be able to do that from lots of places in the park. As far as getting back to MK I always plan on it taking an hour between parks- so you probably will not be back to the MK until at least 11pm. Part of the issue is that they may not be running much of any buses to MK and you may need to take a CR bus and then walk over to MK.

Thanks for all the feedback. My brain knew but my heart was hoping haha! I guess we'll just aim for the SW Fireworks at 9:45pm and get a great spot for them!! Fantasmic will have to be skipped this trip (especially if we won't be able to get a good spot on Hollywood Boulevard after the show) :(

Also many others cutting it close also, you might have 15-30 minutes in the security line before you even get into HS.
