Hi All!

I have a few questions for our upcoming Bahama Dream Cruise.

- Are over the door shoe organizers still legal or do I have to get suction cups to hang them on the door?

- Can you pre buy a picture package and is it worth it?

- Do many people dress up for Pirate night? We were thinking of letting our 5 yo do it but wondered about adults.

- I booked the Atlantis Aquadventure (waterpark) through DCL. It has our times as 9:15 - 2:15. Do we have to come back on the 2:15 shuttle or can we come back on a later shuttle?

- I am traveling with dh, dd, dsil, and dgs5. It's dd and dsil anniversary and I had ressies at Palo for them and she made me cancel because she didn't want to miss a minute with dgs5. What else can I do for their anniversary? It's on Castaway Cay day.

- What are the "Must Do's" for a 5 year old (only child so very mature for his age) I'm so worried that we will miss something :)

- Any other "Must Do's"?

- I may think of others but that's it for now.

Thanks so much for your comments!

Hello,

I'm on this cruise as well. Super excited! This will be my first Disney cruise, so I can't answer all your questions; however, I'm sure the usual DCL "vets" will respond.

From what I remember reading, you can't hang shoe organizers over the door. I don't know about suction cups. You can purchase pre-cruise Shutters photo packages. I've read several responses on here where people feel the unlimited prints and cd package is worth it (provided you take a lot of pictures). The reviews for the quality of Shutters pictures are great. So much so, I'm considering purchasing the photo book (if we manage to take a lot of nice pictures throughout the cruise).

DS (1) and I are dressing up for pirate night. We will dress up for dinner and the pirate party. I'm looking forward to dressing up!

To celebrate the anniversary, perhaps you can decorate their stateroom (bring decorations from home), get "I'm Celebrating" buttons from Guest Services for them to wear, when you board, make sure you inform them that your group is celebrating an anniversary, so they can mention it when they announce your arrival onboard, make them anniversary tshirts to wear on the cruise and let your servers know about the anniversary, perhaps they will provide a special dessert for them.

Hope to meet you on the ship! :)

No, you cannot hang organizers over the door any longer. Many people just hang them from the hooks in the room (in the bathroom and in the room itself), or in the closet from a hanger, or use suction cups.

Yes, you can pre-buy photo packages. The full CD has a discount if you pre-buy it. All other packages (AFAIK) are the same cost onboard the ship. Whether it's "worth it" or not depends on how may photos you think you will be taking.

There are a lot of people who dress for Pirate night (adults as well as kids). There are many people who don't. It's your call.

You can pick up "I'm Celebrating" buttons at Guest Services, if you wish. Make sure your dining room servers are aware of the celebration and they will bring a special dessert to the couple.

One big piece of advice: Don't try to do everything - you can't. Just enjoy what you can do, and be sure to include "just relaxing" as part of the vacation.

Oh, don't forget to bring two items per stateroom and sharpies so Mickey and friends and/or the Disney princesses can autograph them. It's a great, free souvenir. Possible items to have autographed...pillowcase, tshirt, hat, photo matting, etc.
