A few questions about the Kyriad

Hi

We're thinking of booking Kyriad for Next January and am wondering if someone could answer some questions about it for me.

How far away is it from the parks? And is it walkable?

How frequent are the buses? And do they get very crowded after the park shuts?

What are the breakfasts like? One thing I really missed when staying at the SQ was a cooked breakfast, I only get them when on holiday so really miss them when they're not available!

And lastly, does it have connecting rooms? My sister will be coming with us and ideally we'd have a standard 4 person room connected to a double room, or at least on the same floor as us.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

Hi, we stayed in the Kyriad for one night in December before transferring to a Disney hotel. We thought it was really nice, can't answerr your other questions but here's a photo of my husbands breakfast.

The eggs were a bit ropey, but that may depend on whose just cooked them.

There were a lot of cold items too, including slices of swiss cheese which I really missed at Sequoia Lodge. I'd say overall the Kyriad was a better breakfast.

Hi

We're thinking of booking Kyriad for Next January and am wondering if someone could answer some questions about it for me.

* Hi, I'll do my best with some info for you from Our experience in February this year :thumbsup2

How far away is it from the parks? And is it walkable?

* I would estimate approx 2 miles. Yes it is walkable but not for me with all the walking you do whilst at DLP anyway

How frequent are the buses? And do they get very crowded after the park shuts?

* As we drove, we did'nt bother catching the bus. They did look quite busy(though we were there during the Feb half term holidays) & they seemed to run every 15 mins.

What are the breakfasts like? One thing I really missed when staying at the SQ was a cooked breakfast, I only get them when on holiday so really miss them when they're not available!

* The breakfasts were very good. There was cooked food available which comprised of sausages, beans & an omelette type of egg. There was also all the usual stuff ie) cereals, breads, pastrys, yoghurts etc.
My tip would be to go early or late for breakfast as at around 9am it is very busy.

And lastly, does it have connecting rooms? My sister will be coming with us and ideally we'd have a standard 4 person room connected to a double room, or at least on the same floor as us.

* Sorry, can't help you wth this as Our room did'nt have any connecting door:confused3

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

HTH a little bit.
Cheers Dawn

My French isn't the best, so I apologies if I got this wrong. My understanding was that the 4 person rooms are all in a separate building and that there's only 4 person rooms on those special floor.

We were facing the same problem once when DBF and I were travelling with a family we are friends with and we ended up being in totally different buildings.
