Hello everybody! My family and I are going to Disney World on the 12th of December and are staying until the 20th. Both my aunts will need assistance walking, so we are looking at ECVs. We heard that the parks have them, but that they are on a first come, first serve basis. At this time of year, are they usually out of stock? :confused3 Otherwise, should we just buy from another company? Also, how does it work with ECVs and rides? Where are the scooters kept while you are on the ride? How do the ECVs work with the Disney buses? Do they have to take out a ramp or just lift the scooter in, or something else? Finally, how does it work when you are trying to transfer from park to park? Sorry for all the questions!! I am new here, so I hope I did everything right! :)

I would rent from an outside company. This way you're guaranteed to have one.

Most all of your other questions can be found in the DisAbilities forum sticky entitled Temporary and permanent disabilities at the start of the thread. There is also phone numbers for companies to rent from in there.
