A few pictures of the Swiss Alps

On the way to our DIS meet in Germany we had to travel through Switzerland and managed to catch a few photos. The snow on the Alps were simply gorgeous, in some places it really looked deep. There was only one town that we drove through where there was snow on the sides of the highway, but there really wasn't much to speak of.

This cable car passed right over top of the highway.

The fog was hanging really low over this lake and then cleared in this one spot.

That is all we have from Switzerland, we hope to do a proper trip to the lakes in the Spring time, so maybe I will have better pictures for you then.

Oh Tiggerlover....you are bringing back some nice memories to me with this pics. I have travelled from Spain to Germany three times, we drove and saw many beautiful places. Germany and Switzerland are two beautiful countries to visit. Thanks for sharing!

So glad you all are enjoying them! We thought Switzerland was beautiful (but very expensive), but we do hope to return again to have a proper visit in the future and then maybe I can share some really great photos and not just pictures taken from the car.
