A few magic band questions

1. I have a Magic Band from a trip in June, will I be able to use it again in a few weeks for a day at Magic Kingdom?

2. Theres an ID number on the inside of it right under my name, is this number assigned only to me? Can it be used to link my ticket to the band on My Disney Experience account?

3. What is the lifespan of the band itself? Does it essentially have a point in time where it will go dead like a set of batteries?

1.Yes.

2. You don't need to do anything at all with the MB.
Just add your new ticket to your MyDisneyExperience account. The MB will access it.

3. Two to three years. (Actual battery life is yet to be discovered.)

And isn't the 2-3-year estimate for the *active* transmitter? In which case "touch Mickey-to-Mickey" will work beyond that lifetime.

Yup.

But, we hope before TOO long, there SHOULD be a lot more "interactive" things in the parks
that can be activated by the "distance/active" transmitter in the MB.
