disneymom3 said:Absolutely stunning photos, Dan! Oh eleven months feels really long now! (til I go back) DH wants to know what kind of camera you have.
The camera is a Nikon 995 which is no longer available. I think I purchased it back in 2000. There are many cameras today much better. It is a point and shoot, not SLR. I like the swivel body feature, enables getting some interesting angles and perspective I could not get without that feature.Jim from Jersey said:Hey Dan......What kind of camera do you use? These pics are unbelievable. Not only are the subjects of the photos great, the quality of each pic is superb! Is it a digital camera? If so, how many mega-pixels? If not digital, what speed film? As like everyone else says, thanks for sharing.....this just gets me more excited about our October trip! Jim
I wish, what a nice job for retirement, LOL.Pooh67_68 said:...Me thinks you should quit your job and become a photographer for Disney.![]()
Sure, Froggy, be my guest. If they are not good in a background format, send me a PM for the larger file.FroggyinArk said:dan , if you dont mind i would like to borrow a couple of these to add to my screensaver?
Don't know, Carl. I can only recommend a refresh, it is about 15 meg loading. If you click on that first page, don't scroll till it is done loading. Takes my PC about 10 seconds or so.Carl said:Great pictures, but on the first 2 posts several of the pictures don't seem to load.
I have used a tripod, have a real little one I keep with me. But most are either on a trash can (lots of those everywhere there), braced against a tree or light pole, maybe a fence. Sometimes, without those, I will try holding it steady, but usually is blurred some. I have taken pictures on 100, 200, 400 and 800 ISA settings (800 is pretty grainy), lots of various manual settings, always trying to find something better, LOL. Fireworks, for me, are the toughest, as are pictures while on the rides, especially the darker ones.Kenswing said:Great pictures Dan,
Do you use a tripod for your night shots, or are you just steady handed?
