A&E meet and greet in late May... MK or EP?

I just sat down with crowd calendars trying to get a rough idea of park days and FPs for my upcoming trip May 27-June 3. I was hoping someone might have some answers for me.... If the Frozen ride is open in EP while we are there do A&E move back to Norway with it? Will they still be in MK also? When A&E were in EP before was that a FP option? If so what tier? Thanks in advance :)

Nobody who knows is talking.

I'd put my money on them leaving the MK when they move back to Epcot. But I'm just guessing.

They did not have the setup for FP when they were in Epcot before.

That's what I was afraid of. Guess I will just have to wait and see. I'm not looking forward to it if they are in Epcot. That will complicate things and we have a little princess that will have to see them.

So is Olaf suppose to be meeting with them in EPCOT??!! I hadn't heard that mentioned before. I would love it as Olaf is my favorite character!!

My guess is it the A&E meet and greet (with Olaf) will be in epcot, but there will be a transition from MK to epcot. Probably in alignment with fastpass availability.
my thoughts exactly. People are already making their FP for June/ early July - I haven't looked but I'd assume Anna/ Elsa FP for that timeframe have been issued so I'd say they'd stay in MK for awhile ....

As others have said, no clue on when they'll move but I do think they will have FP when they do move.
No they didn't before but you sure can't go by that. They were stuck inside a store, not in a facility built to house them for the purpose of a M&G
If you book a FP for them at MK and they move before that date I suspect that Disney will move that FP to something else at MK, not automatically move it to Epcot.
Hopefully they'll notify you and give you a chance to book one in Epcot but I am not 100% sure that's what they'll do

And the above poster is the first time I've heard mention of Olaf coming. Source for that?

- A&E are supposed to leave the MK and go to Epcot. (Snow White & Aurora will return to FTH, as they should)
- The M&G and the Ride are supposed to open together.
- No one knows when they will announce this and how they will handle FP+.
- Disney can cancel a FP+ at any time and handle however they want so I would book for MK if it allows and then see what happens. Nothing to lose.
- Keep ears open, I don't think there is any way a FP+ will transfer between parks.
- Hopefully they will know where they stand at 60 days and allow for accurate booking.
- It was not a FP option when in Epcot before but am sure it will be this time.
- Epcot tiers are hard to predict without opening date for Soarin'.

Olaf? Have not heard that from anyone. Could it happen? Yes. But we won't know until it's announced by Disney or happening in person.

You can't make FP until 60 days out so no one can book those until April.

Looks like it will just be a wait and see. I guess a lot could change for Epcot in the next 19 weeks. I hope the FP tiers work in my favor if everything is open by then. We are only planning for 1 day in Epcot. Fingers crossed that TT, Soarin' and A&E aren't all tier 1!

No source. Just a guess. Olaf is in Anaheim and is still popular, and new movie coming out so kind of makes sense.

I suspect the odds of that NOT being the case are very, very slim.
My prediction for the final list of Tier 1 options are
Soarin'
TT
A&E
Frozen Ride
The one I'm not sure on is Illuminations

I think Living with the Land will move to Tier 2, as will Mission Space once Soarin re-opens.

Maybe but I say very unlikely. Olaf is no longer very popular at DCA. When we were in CA last June the waits for both the sisters and Olaf was very short. FP was offered but often not required or needed.
Maybe it will ramp back up when the new movie comes out but now the entire Frozen craze is waning.
Waits for the sisters are lower than ever.
Heck, when we went to MK on 12/20 there was NO wait for the sisters at all. About 30 min for Cinderella and Rapunzel. I took pictures of us in the C&R line and 1 person walking up to the A&E line.
The waits will still go up during the day but rarely past the 60 min wait and nothing like they once were.
