Hi there!

I've been lurking around the last week or so and stumbled upon your PTR and now your TR and just had to say how much I've been enjoying it, and that your pictures are awesome!

Thanks so much for giving me the Disney fix that I need since our next trip isn't until June of 2013 (just found out I'm pregnent :cloud9: so we're planning the first trip with our future disney lover for when their 18 months), not sure how I'm ever going to wait that long :rolleyes1

Can't wait to hear more about your trip!

Suited up & headed out to shoot the last wedding of a triple-weekend. My arms are tired, my suit is kind of smelly & has buttercream on the sleeve... but im ready to go. This morning I found out there are 9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen. Thats 20 people in just the bridal party, not to mention the parents, grandparents, ushers, and whoever else... Jon & Kate +8? Its going to be like herding cats.

This is my face upon realizing Id have to help wrangle and photograph that many people.

Thank you so much for saying something! Believe it or not, I think you can make the countdown fun. There are a ton of great ideas and threads here about a weekly themed Disney Movie night, or creative ways to save. You'll be rolling in spending money by the time you get there! Im glad you love it so much & I hope you keep popping up to say hi! Start a PTR and link me! :)

Having a moment dear before starting your day:lmao: I hope you're having a great weekend!:yay:

Its craziness over here woman. I got a few great shots I cant WAIT to show you though!! :)

9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsman...that's insane:lmao: Herding cats is gonna sum that right up sugar plum...good luck....and make sure that darling hubby of yours has a nice bottle of wine chillin for ya when you get home:hug:

Lol...Love the random post of the chocolate!

I love, love, love your pictures of Italy. No need to stop you just need to update more often! :lmao:

:scared1: Sounds like a huge wedding!

Enjoying the Italy photos! My favorites are the reflection & the coloseum lit up. Also like the couples. & the tuscany gate.

I love my Disney Visa too - Im hanging tough on my castle design that looks like the year of a million dreams.

That sounds like my Visa! I love having the castle on it! I get some comments on it from cashiers & start talking Disney with them.

Thank you so much  I think thats an amazing way to remember your Dad - and one I may find myself doing someday as well. My dad isnt a photog. but its definitely one of our most special places. If you get the chance to re.create a favorite image - consider making a memorial canvas or canvas cluster (several different sized canvas pictures- google image search 'canvas clusters') of both old and new photos.

Youre doing a beautiful thing :) and Im glad you're here sharing it with me!! :lovestruc

What a wonderful idea! Thank you. :goodvibes

We took the D70 out for a spin this weekend... I think I'm going to get some good pictures from our WDW trip. Going to sort through some old pictures and see if I can't come up with a list of pics to reshoot!

BTW - A woman can never have enough shoes, or pictures of them to drool over. (same goes for trips to Italy!)

Thanks for the ideas on how to make the time go by faster. I've been playing around with the idea of doing a PTR, it just seems so far out lol. But I'm sure I'll have a lot to keep me occupied in the not too distant future!

like the squirrel qoute and such a great looking dog and also great disney decorations for the dinner for your parents friends....great job

Very very nice pics...you take such awesome pics and I like the one with the reddish light coming thru on the collesium...looks fantastic

Lol love your face and hope things went well and no problems along the way:thumbsup2

Love the "herding cats" comment. DH recently MC'd his cousin's wedding and said the same thing about keeping the bridal party in the room for speeches etc.
:lmao::lmao:

Morning! Im currently typing up the next installment of my TR, and uploading pictures to match my (hot-mess of a ...) timeline. Im all turned around with where I am in my story :lmao:

Anyway, here are a few wedding details, since you guys seem to like when I post those :)

Updates to come over the course of the weekend include: Back to the TR, Shoe 'Porn' of some Italian heels & boots :lovestruc, Disney Crafts with Alsagirl, & maybe some Easter details and hidden mickeys at Moms!

Alrighty Then - Update today I shall! :) (Did that sound like Yoda to anyone else? :sad2:)

Glad you like them... Disney Visa Buddy ;) Im so afraid theyre going to stop carrying the castle card. That would be the worst (unless they debuted something better!)

What a wonderful idea! Thank you. :goodvibes

Sometimes, I even surprise myself  A lot of people use clusters for trips/major events or to document their children. (Some do one picture each month of their first year, etc.) 12 Canvases sounds like a lot, but all different sizes helps to break up the crazy. Im SO excited for you & to see the pics you come back with!

Thanks for the ideas on how to make the time go by faster. I've been playing around with the idea of doing a PTR, it just seems so far out lol. But I'm sure I'll have a lot to keep me occupied in the not too distant future!

I am the queen of endless countdowns. And making lists. And making lists to count down days until Disney. We called it the DUD factor. I'll make you a list.

Very very nice pics...you take such awesome pics and I like the one with the reddish light coming thru on the collesium...looks fantastic

lol awesome face...hope all went well

Thank You! Im glad you laughed at my silly face. Most pictures of me come from my computer, since Im always the one taking the pictures. The wedding was okay... I was a little fried after 3 in one weekend - and this bride was... less than a picture of grace.

Love the "herding cats" comment. DH recently MC'd his cousin's wedding and said the same thing about keeping the bridal party in the room for speeches etc.
:lmao::lmao:

Its TRUE!! Ever tried to herd cats? Its the same for drunk groomsmen and bridesmaids. Everyone is losing their drink, making a face, yelling a sex joke, or pulling lipgloss out of a bra. uuuuuf.

Love the pictures, and can't wait to read more about your Disney trip.
C'mon, Yoda- where's the update? ;)

Rounded out a day at Epcot. Right! Allie had picked her perfect pearl (try say that 5 times fast...) and popped it into her perfect pendant.

Trying too hard.

I bought her this carriage necklace that I had seen on someone else's TR, and the little pearl fit perfectly (.... /sigh) We sat on a bench and carefully put it together, and I caught the pic below. I thought it was so cute, I had to have one myself! (I picked my own pearl seperately while on a brief trip in January... I headed down for 3 days to photograph the Disney Half Marathon for the LLS of Massachusetts) Mine looks the same :cloud9: Love them

We had dinner in Mexico (to refresh ya') and then headed back to bed

The next Day was Animal Kingdom day - and on this day, I confess to leaving my camera in the room. I came up with several creative excuses to tell you, but the truth of the matter is: It was quite hot, and I was quite tired of carrying that giant camera slung over my shoulder. Laziness prevailed, and the camera stayed in the room. I enjoyed water rides and running around and only had a few fleeting "Dangit I wish I had my camera" moments. For the most part- it was a much needed break. Dont be mad!!

AK was a great day for me though, everyone trekked to Kilimanjaro Safari's right away- and while the sea of people were passing us... Eric and I slipped into Pizzafari for breakfast. (Remember in my PTR, this was a Not To Be Missed location!) Who knew they did breakfast?

DAK_Pizzafari_breakfast_goldhaber.jpg

We actually had a great sibling-breakfast and laughed a lot over our giant plates of bacon, eggs, and biscuits. We even argued about timing of eating the biscuits! Because they were so delish, did you enjoy them first while warm? or save the best for last? Either way, I ate mine first, Eric saved his for last and took it 'on the road' to meet up with the family. Somehow we ended up coining the term "Dope Biscuits" and used it for the rest of the trip when referring to something awesome.

Jess: You should try my pineapple drink
Eric: Is it good or just strong
Jess: Its Dope Biscuits.
Eric: D-Beezy? Pass me that drink.

Stupid moments like that remind me that my brother will always be my best friend  I was glad to have a quiet breakfast just the two of us. Pizzafari is a dead zone in the morning, nice and cool.

From the Safari (which had an outrageously feminine man for a driver. "Ohmyyyyy kids, those are some savage wildabeastssss. I hope we dont fall off the baa-riiiddgeee") We headed over to Disco Yeti, and ended up riding Expedition Everest twice. Once with a fastpass I believe Kris sprinted to get us while Ero & I ate, and then again because we hit that magic sweet-spot line time when its only 10 minutes. I had a dance party each time the strobe-monster came into view. We did lots more, Kali River, lunch at the Yak & Yeti, etc. Then headed for Festival of the Lion King.

After Lion King, Kris and I had *planned* on leaving the group and heading back to get ready for our California Grill ADR. However, we had been eating way more than usual over the last few days (Boma & Ohana back to back is a festival of meat and overindulgence.) Kris wasnt feeling up to the formal dining, and rather than force the dinner- I cancelled the reservation. I want to go with him when hes SO excited to go and see it. We can sit for a long time and eat comfortably - not have his first memory be in a beef-coma and tight dress pants. He was thankful, and I dont regret the decision. Its just another thing to save and look forward to next time :love2: We exchanged gifts, then just grabbed some dinner at the Earl of Sandwich in DTD. Off to Sleep at the Wilderness, tomorrow was our last day - and we would spend it in MK.

Up early and ready to shine, we headed off to our last full day in Disney. I took a picture of the water taxi this morning, because it was clearly for us... The "M" Boat!

IMG_8823.jpg

Allie was already getting a little sad, knowing we would be leaving tomorrow. I caught her day dreaming looking off across the water...

Here we are....

Did a little cruise down Main Street, and headed for Big Thunder Mt. again!
