A Dole Whip in my hand & my toes in the sand: CBR/Poly Split Stay – This Is The Life!

Wow, love all of the walk-on rides Shelly! How fun for you guys. :thumbsup2

Cosmic Ray's isn't bad I don't think either. Not my first choice but they have lots of selection at least. :)

The tea cups video made my tummy queasy! :scared1:

Walk ons all over MK were awesome!! :cool1: Somehow Cosmic Ray's was still crowded though. :confused3 At least we got a seat!

I know, those Tea Cups are nasty!! :upsidedow

Hey Mel, how are you feeling?

Well that makes sense about the back of the coaster. I'll have to tell DS! :yay:

The homemade chips were pretty good! :thumbsup2

I'm great, thanks for asking! This second trimester as been treating me pretty well. :goodvibes I've had headaches on and off for close to two weeks, but other than that, nothing. Well, I did sort of shovel/break some ice today so now I'm freaking out a bit, hoping I didn't hurt Peanut...

What a great morning at MK! I like the back of BTMRR - I don't like how you are already halfway down the hills before it feels fast in the front.

We've never eaten at PVH either... we like Cosmic Ray's OK but it's always loud in there & not the best place to take a lunch "break". There are some quieter outdoor spots that have a great view of the castle though. I also hate that you have to wait in more than one line if you want different things to eat.

Glad to hear you are doing well for the most part. :goodvibes Hope the headaches go away though!

You better leave the shoveling to someone else!!

Those are exactly my feelings on Cosmic Ray's - loud, crowded, different lines for everything, and definitely not the best place for a break!! :scared1: But it works in a pinch I guess.

After we were done at Cosmic Ray's we talked about what to do next. We had really done a lot at MK that morning and made way better time than we expected to. So we decided that we were ready to say good-bye to MK for the last time this trip and head back to the Poly.

But not before some more pics!

DS12 had to express his displeasure about Casey's being closed. :lmao: There was a CM standing there telling people where they could go to get good hot dogs since Casey's was closed. He was laughing his behind off at DS!! :rotfl: And then offered his advice on where to eat, but I had to explain to him that we had already ate at Casey's earlier in the week and we just had lunch today at Cosmic Ray's (which BTW is where he says has the same hot dogs as Casey's) and that DS was just trying to be funny!!:upsidedow

And with that we said good-bye to MK. (Just as lots of people were coming in!! :scared1:)

Up Next: Back to the Poly

It's so great how your boys seem to love being in pics. It's like torture for my kids to pose for a pic together. Whenever I say stand together for a pic I get moans and groans lol. :(
I don't know how I get so many pics when I get home.
I just thought of this today, have you ever tried lunch at CHH? We go there every trip I like the views from the windows and it's so cute inside.

Great pics, Shelly! I love how your boys (especially DS12 ) like to ham it up for the camera. And :thumbsup2 to your DH for getting in on the action, too! Whose idea was it to imitate the statues? Great idea, whoever thought of it. ::yes::

Even though getting up and out for rope drop is sometimes a big pain in the butt, it sure is worth it! That's plain to see from your pics. There you were, walking on rides in the morning, and now look at the crowds coming in.

 that your trip is almost over, but great job on the TR!

Love all the pics and the Tea Cup video ! :thumbsup2

I would have been upset about Casey's too .. it's one of my traditions to eat there !! I love their hot dogs and fries !

DS12 LOVES to be in pics!! DS10 not so much, but he doesn't seem to mind at WDW. Plus I have always been a picture person, so they are used to it!

We thought about trying CHH, but then I think someone said they changed some of their menu and it's not that great anymore. :confused3 Maybe we'll give it a try someday.

Thanks Teri! :goodvibes You know DS12 and a camera!! :upsidedow  We had done that with the statues before, my idea I'm sure! DS12 got right into it. DS10 and DH needed a little more coaxing. :rotfl:

Yep, RD is definitely worth it! :thumbsup2 Works great for us, people who don't stay in the parks all day. It sure appeared to be getting crowded when we left, shortly after lunchtime.

Glad you have enjoyed the TR. :)

Thanks! :goodvibes

Luckily we knew about Casey's closing before we got there or else it would have been a big upset! :scared1:

Shelly, your family is hilarious! I love the way they all were posing, especially your son with his ears pulled out like Dumbo. You all remind me of my family as we like to poke fun at ourselves often!

Lookin' good everyone! Your boys look like such lil hams. My daughter is the same way!

Thanks! :) It's more fun when your kids are that way!! :rotfl:

I know, we are such dorks.

I remember your TR, your kids love to have fun too!! :cool1:

Those are great and fun pictures that you took around the Partner's statue. How come you aren't in one? LOL!

My boys like the corn dog bites at Casey's - it has become a tradition, when we go to MK, we have to stop there to get them.

Great update!

Shelly looks like you had a really great time making photo memories at MK after lunch. Would seem you just left in time as the Masses were entering MK great call .

What a fun way to wrap up your day at the Magic Kingdom! I always laugh at the funny poses your oldest son does and was excited to see that your youngest got in on the action a bit this time too.

**side note: The latest edition of Orlando Attractions magazine features Legoland! I saw it at Books a Million and thought about you.

Thanks!! Well I would be in them, but someone has to take the pictures.

My boys love Casey's corndog nuggets too!! Do you have them at DL too?

We did have fun!! :cool1: Even though it was about a million degrees right out there in the open. :faint: :rotfl:

We left just in time I think! :thumbsup2

DS12 does enjoy that kind of thing!! I was glad to see DS10 joining in too! :yay:

I subscribed to that Orlando Attraction link you sent me awhile back but I never got anything. :confused3 I'd love to see that LegoLand article!
