Loved those towel animals. They are probably the best I've ever seen done. I want an elephant one. He was so cool!! Here's the million dollar question.... did you take them home? I think with those I might have had to.

Ya know, my kiddos think that going to WDW will never again be the same if you guys aren't there. We should get working on that right away...

Tell your DH thanks for the Snacks. He's a real trooper, putting up with our chatty hysteria.

Jodi and I met here on the DIS about 5 years ago. We met on a May 2007 planning thread. Our trips overlapped that May, but we did not meet up. We figured out that we only lived about 30 minutes apart, so we met up for lunch one day later that year! Then a few months later she moved halfway across the country and we hadn't seen each other since. We of course talk every single day, but none of our WDW trips overlapped again, until this summer when they just 'happened' to!

The kids had a great time. Her son and my DS12 are the same age. They had actually been texting each other during our trip, so they finally got to see who they had been talking to! And her youngest DD and my DS10 are the same age and are very much alike. We always say that they were either separated at birth or destined to marry! And her oldest DD is such a sweetheart, everyone just loved her!

You are right -- you can never go to the Poly pool in the afternoon and expect to get a table!

I cannot believe it's been 5 years!!!!!!!!!!!!! UnFREAKINGbelievable! (You're right, I do say it every day! )

Wish we still lived close. It would be so awesome. Not so much for the checkbooks, I'm afraid. The DH's wouldn't know what to do. They don't know what to do now. My by words to Mark--- " Well, Shelly bought one already so I got one too!!!!"

Our kids did all get along so well. Drew's words-- "they were super cool, mom".

One last thing on EOS - obviously you just haven't found the sandwich that's right for you. I think you should keep trying all of them until you find that perfect sandwich!!

What a fun meeting! But Jodi, I have one question. Who are the actors playing your little kids? They are so grown up and tall from the last pics I saw! Those are 5 mighty cute kids there! It's so great how they love meeting up and get along so well. Sure makes it easier on the 2 moms, doesn't it?

No, we didn't take the towel animals home. I wanted to keep those elephants, but I knew they would be destroyed by the time we got them home anyway. They were so cool!

We're just staying for three nights before checking into our offsite timeshare villa but I've already changed our reservation once & upgraded us to Club Level! We'll be there 4/19-4/22. Too bad we don't overlap!

Well, I have been thinking about this vacation for quite awhile. Almost booked it awhile back in-fact, but didn't. So when it was 6 months out I made ADR's for the week - just incase!! Thankfully! Even when it looked like the chances of this trip happening were slim to none, I still kept those ADR's. So no worries there, I already have my ADR's!
