A Disney Honeymoon

My Husband and I Honeymooned August 17-24th 2009, We stayed at The Beach Club and loved it! It was a gift from his parents, When we arrived they asked what we were celebrating ,we said our Honeymoon and they promptly up graded our room! It was wonderful there!
Fultons Crab house DTD is a must do if you like seafood! Fantastic food, They gave us a cake "on the house" with Congratulations on the Plate in chocolate. We did the Hoop Dee Do Revue, They sat us at a table right up near the stage because we were Honeymooners. Several CMs took us to the front of the lines for rides. We went to the Crystal Palace for breakfast( I Love Eeyore) they had a card signed by Pooh & friends and a cupcake as well as confetti in our table in a heart shape when we arrived! Those were just a few highlights of the trip. Everyone made us feel so special!

Hey there! I am getting married May 22, and we will be honeymooning starting the next day! We are staying at POR. I all ready booked my ADRs. We aren't doing anything really upscale or fancy. We just want to relax, have fun, and eat some good food!

Thats MY wedding date too! we will be arriving the next day as well!! congrats and have a very nice trip:cutie:

We are having a Disneymoon after our WDW Wedding.

We are staying at AKL for 5 nights before the wedding. GF Main Building for 3 nights (1 before for me and BMs and two after for both of us), Boardwalk/BC/YC/WL (we haven't quite decided!) for 10 and Bay Lake Tower MK View for the last 4.

Sure is going to be sad coming home!

No, we couldn't find anywhere we liked for a ceremony or reception anywhere in Guelph or K-W, or even Toronto. We are getting married in Epcot, WDW, and having our home reception at the Lamplighter in London. That is awesome you are getting married there...I've seen lots of great pics!! I lived in London for a bit, and drove by Ingersoll so many times, but I haven't really been there!

Lamplighter is really nice, a friend of the family got married there in the fall :) So jealous that your getting married in WDW....I'm still considering switching but DFi has such a huge family and it's really important to him that they are all there and if it was in WDW I know financially a lot of people wouldnt be able to come ...oh well I guess i'll just have to settle for a Disneymoon instead

I know ine is a bit far off, but we've already got it planned. Since I'll be getting CM discounts still (itll be my last opportunity) were going all out. We're having our DL wedding March 12th, 2011 and the next day well fly to WDW. Were going to stay at Beach Club villas, or Animal kindgom (havent decided yet). Then later in the week well take a 4 night cruise on the Dream!

It's going to be so much disney ill probably be disneyed out for a while, but I just cant resist passing up the prices!

That's so cool! Where are you staying?

We are actually staying at a condo off site (its a timeshare gift from family) BUT i think we may be staying one weekend at AKL :) I stayed at PO last vacation...it is great! the pools are fantastic!

We are getting married on December 31, 2010. We haven't officially planned our honeymoon yet, but we're thinking that we're not going to take it until September or October of 2011...is that odd? We are going to stay at the Poly and we want to be able to lay out on the beach if we want to, and we're afraid that if we go in January we're really not going to be able to do that. We don't really want to go and be with the huge crowds during the summer in the excessive heat, so we were thinking the end of September or October would be perfect.

We got married in Orlando 1/16/10 and then stayed in WDW for a week... after a bunch of hassle with our reservation we ended up staying at the Yacht & Beach Club (Beach Club side). This trip we ate dinners at Planet Hollywood, Coral Reef, Narcoossee's, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Victoria & Alberts.

We are getting married on the 6th of November in our home town. Then we fly off to Orlando on the Monday for 7 nights at the wilderness lodge, followed by 5 nights at four points, sheraton city on international drive.

I can't wait :banana::banana::banana:

Just booked our trip on the Dream! Now i just have to wait or call to get a couple nights at a resort leading up to the cruise.:thumbsup2

I started my honeymoon registry, but havent been able to add anything into it yet.

We live in Louisiana about 30 miles west of New Orleans but we are getting married in Las Vegas. Our honeymoon will be at WDW. We are arriving June 15-19th. We are staying at the Port Orleans Riverside. We haven't finalized our dining plans, yet. However, we are taking a carriage ride on our first night there followed by a boat ride from our resort to downtown disney and dinner at Wolf Gang Puck's @ downtown disney...

We are getting married at home on Aug 28th...and leaving for Disney the next morning. We're staying a full week at the AKL! I've never stayed at a deluxe resort before! We're doing the dining plan and we're eating at Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Ohana, Sanaa, etc. But, off the dining plan, we are also eating at Fulton'S and we got reservations yesterday for Victoria and Albert's the night that we arrive! :) I'm so excited!

Then we move to a delux room at Dolphin for 1 night, and then head off on our 4 day DCL cruise (family is coming for this initial part of the trip).
