Thanks Scott! I see a cameo in your future!

Fabulous start! I can just imagine how scary you were with your DS lost. Glad it turned out okay.

Can't wait for more!

Thanks. It was a little scary.

1. So....you're saying you may or may not have stolen the towel chicks? ;) heh!
2. Lily!!!! Hi sweetie-bug! I see you sitting on your mama's lap baby girl! How are you? This is from Norah: princess:
3. I could have "lended" you some serious mugs for POR. We have 6.
4. That stripwork hearts jumper is what I'm working on at this very moment (well, in a minute I'll get back to it. I needed a break) That sucker is cute!
5. Thanks for the cameo twice! :worship: I'm so hono(u)red!
6. Tell Jayden she looks so beautiful in the red Belle gown :lovestruc
7.Can't wait to hear all about your trip and see some more customs!
Was your POR room big enough? With the trundle and crib, I thought I was gonna die :crowded:
8. Are you going to the zoo with my and Misty's families tomorrow???? We can use our AP's and do Counter Service in "Asia" :upsidedow

Oh sure, now you mention the mugs! If you had lent me yours, Luke would never have gotten lost! :rotfl: Our POR room wasn't too bad. The crib made things a little tight, but we didn't spend a whole lot of time there.

I just love trip reports! And your is great!!!!

Oh my gosh!! You almost lost my future nephew!! I'm glad you found him! I can imagine how scared you must have been.

Um, I'm already planning our next trip and DH and I are fighting over whether it will be in 3 years (me) or 4 (him)

THANKS Scott fans! This update's for you, since I know you're all spoiled!

BTW your children are soooo cute! I teach kindergarten so I have the pleasure of working with 24 fantastic kids everyday. I wonder how people work with adults?!

Although I don't sew, I'm considering taking lessons from my aunt this summer. Where can I find photos of the great outfits everyone makes?

Thanks Scott! I see a cameo in your future!

I like making cameos. :)

and my readers are not spoiled. If I did not do 2 a day it would take me as long as DM did to finish hers. :rotfl2: or worse, Buzz. :lmao:

Looking forward to more.

I'm loving your TR so far!!! My heart was pounding reading about you looking for Luke!! My mind would have went right to the river, too. Thank goodness he was just watching tv!

Have I mentioned how absolutely beautiful your children are? Oh, I have? ;)

Your room looks so cool! I've never seen a picture of a room at that resort. It looks so unique!

Can't wait to read more!popcorn::

Tessa has requested more pictures of Luke! :lmao:

January 19th BTW

We woke up early to a damp, foggy morning. I dressed DD2 in her Cinderella dress, which I must confess I liked much better on. I then attempted to give her a princess “do” ala Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

(notice the nice comfy crocs :rolleyes1 )

I was tempted to speak an untruth (okay lie) and say she was 3 to get her an appointment. I know she would’ve loved it and would have held still and behaved like a perfect little 3-year-old, she often does it at home. But in the end I couldn’t do it. We brought along DD10’s Belle dress in a bag for her to change into when we got there. I had also made appointments for DS8 and DS5 to get the “cool dude” thinking that is just a little less time we will have to keep them distracted while big sis is getting her makeover. Our appointment was for 8:05 am in the MK BBB. The park opened at 9am that day. We had to wait about 25 minutes for a bus from POR to MK. Over the next few days we found that while they did run busses for parks prior to their opening times, it was definitely a longer wait. Finally we made it to MK and were through the gate at 8am—not exactly the “get here 15 minutes early to check in” I had been hoping for. Let me just add here that I HATE being late and I usually am not. We all rushed towards the castle to get to the BBB and didn’t get to enjoy the nearly empty park as much as I would’ve liked, but we did have to stop for a photo or two with Walt

We checked in right at 8:05. I had to stop myself from apologizing for not being early. The kids were all very excited. They took the boys in first, then DD10. She needed to change into her dress but their dressing rooms were full and they were not about to wait! I finally slipped her dress on over her clothes as she sat in the chair. Fortunately her t-shirt was pretty matchy so it didn’t look bad sticking out under the dress. Unfortunately she swore to me that she only wanted to wear crocs the whole trip and DO NOT PACK ANYTHING ELSE, so of course she got a blister and she had to wear her brother's socks under her crocs the next couple of days :scared:

As all this was going on, I glanced over to DH and DD2 in the little lobby area. This is what I saw: (sorry about the photo quality)

IMG_0217.jpg

Princess had her daddy gently placing on her feet-----you guessed it, GLASS SLIPPERS. That girl does not give up! She had found their display pair and brought them to daddy, who helped her put them on. I told him “you know we have to buy those now don’t you?” He said "I thought they WERE hers":confused3 :rotfl: Let me just add here in case I forget to later, she wore them most of the day. She would not let me take them off of her feet. I carried her everywhere (when she wasn't in the stroller) because I did not want her to get blisters. Finally she fell asleep in the stroller and I did a quick switcheroo with the crocs. :woohoo:

Now the boys weren’t really sure what to expect, but they love “cool” hair. DS8 had a mowhawk last summer and enjoyed having it colored blue. DS5 had been begging for some time for “blue hair” They started spiking DS8’s hair, but declared DS5’s hair was too long so they sort of flattened it on top.:scared: Now I sensed at one point that one Fairy Godmother In Training was questioning the other about doing something more spiky, but she declared she could not. It was a disagreement handled in such a fairy godmothery way I barely noticed it.

I love the "smashed nose"

And the big "reveal":

image050.jpg

The FGITs were very kind and gave DD2 a good sprinkling of Pixie dust. I bought her a little crown and they put it on her for me so all ended happily and she did not feel left out.

Here's a link to the disboutique thread: http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1698584

We're almost to page 250, so they may lock the thread soon. But, if they do, my sister already started a "Disboutique part 3" thread on the family board.

Here's a link to all of the pictures of the stuff we've all made:

Jeanne: Tessa says thanks for the pictures of Luke!
They all look so cute!

Thanks for doing that Heather! I was just going to try to get a link on here and my internet crashed. I'm just getting a few more photos into photobucket so I can finish my BBB report!

How thoughtful to make appointments for the boys as well. :thumbsup2

Very sneaky of your DD to get your DH to put the glass slippers on her. :lmao:

Love the update! The kids look great and DD2 didn't seem to feel left out of the fun. Glad it was a magical time!
:wizard:
It makes me wish I had a little one to take to BBB. I don't think DS15 would go for it! Although he did go through a phase when he was nine where he liked to spike his hair with red gel...
Maybe our wishes will come true this year and we'll have another little one soon who I can expose to my DIS obsession!
:goodvibes
Thanks for the great update!
