All caught up now! I love the Lion King show too.

Bob finished Everest at 6:30 and we hightailed it to the buses for our 7:30 ADR at Chef Mickey. Wouldn't you know it, the bus to the Contemperary was just leaving as we neared the buses. So we had to wait a little while for the next one. After a quick ride, we were ready to meet Mickey! BTW - one of Matthew's favorite parts of the trip was the bus rides! He would always get excited and clap when a bus pulled up. His second favorite thing was the elevators at Pop. Go Figure! this was an unplanned ADR so I had no idea where Chef Mickey's was other than at the Contemperary, and we had no custom for this one!!

The food was pretty good and Matthew loved the juice boxes! First was Goofy. Matthew wasn't to sure of him - I think one of his whiskers poked him.

Emily gave him a kiss and a hug.

Donald!! Emily thought it was funny that he signed the autograph book upside down.

These two are probably my favorite!

Out of all of our ADR's the service here was by far the best! Our server was very friendly. The food was pretty good too. And the desserts were awesome!

Oh the one with Matthew looking at Minnie is priceless! That is so sweet! We have reservations for Chef Mickey's in April during out trip for breakfast. I think I'm looking forward to that just as much as going to the parks. Great pictures. I can't wait to read more!

That's one of my favorites too! He was sooo excited to see these characters! He really liked Mickey but he wouldn't sit still for a picture.

I'm just loving all the pics!! Emily's face painting is so pretty. My kids had their faces done at the same place. They were great and did such a nice job. DD especially like the sparkly lips too.

That picture of Matthew looking at Minnie is priceless. Actually, they are all so good. You can tell how much they both enjoyed the characters.

Seriously! He would get so excited on the elevator at Pop! He never got that excited for any of the rides! And, a bus would pull up and he would start yelling and clapping! Of course, he doesn't talk yet so it was just yelling - no words. Silly boy! He was almost as excited to see the characters though.

Did the paint on your daughters face come off on the characters white coats? Looks like she gave lots of hugs!

Your kids are so cute!! I love the shirts you made for AK too. Great pictures and I think every kid loves Chef Mickey's. Emily's face paint is adorable. I will not be showing that picture ot my DD as she always complains about not getting her face painted at Disney .

Great TR so far! Love the picture with Matthew looking up at Minnie! So cute! And now I feel guilty my DD10 wanted her face painted, but we didn't have time and I didn't let her do it. Emily looks great!

I am going to a scrapbooking retreat this weekend and was looking back at pictures from the 4th of July. Em had her face painted at our local festival. Wow! I didn't realize the difference! The girls at Disney realy do an awesome job!

Chef Mickey's was a "surprise" ADR. In all my planning, I somehow missed a TS credit! So the morning of, I hightailed it over to concierege and tried to get a ADR for that noght. Chef Mickey was the only one available! It was at 7:30. I was really happy that we got to do this one! It think we really lucked out. There was a guy next to me trying to make an ADR and he wasn't having much luck!

Magic Kingdom!!

We got smart and Bob got stuff for breakfast the night before so we could get an early start today. So I got ready while the kids had a picinic of donuts and cheerios. We were at Magic Kingdom for rope drop! They had a cute pre opening show.

We got in and Bob decided to rent a stroller for Emily. While we were waiting, we got a few autographs.

Emily even knew that this was Claribelle Cow!

Matthew was being a little shy this morning.

While we were getting autographs, BIL called Bob and we were going to meet for a group picture in front of the Walt Statue. Then we were off to Fantasyland!

How fun to have a group picture in front of the castle. That will be a great memory. Well one of many from this trip!!!
