A Disboutique TR - Our first trip to the World!

After Lion King we got a Fast Pass for Kilamanjaro Safari. We also split up with everyone and decided to meet back up for the safari. We got a quick snack and we headed over to Dinoland, where Matthew snoozed on me while Bob and Emily rode theTriceratop ride. She aslo played a few carnival game.

Of course she didn't win any prizes so she was pouting. We found someone to take her mind off the lost prizes!

She was still sad, so daddy let her get her face painted.

Great trip report so far, I can't wait for the next installment! I love that Matthew was so open to the characters, I hope to get the same reaction with my godson on our March trip. Also I love all of the adorable outfits!

Yeah! Great Trip reprort Leslie!! And it's great to see a picture of you in there too!

Where do you find the face painters? Arminda and Lydia were looking over my shoulder, and now they really want to do that! How much does it cost?

I just started to sew! I actually learned how because of this trip! Emily's outfit from the first day was a no sew outfit though! Just glue! LOL!

Matthew really surprised me. He's going through a shy phase (they both are actually) so I really loved seeing him walk right up to the characters and give them hugs or high 5's!

She is daddy little girl. Does she have her dad wrapped aroung her finger?

Ya think? She is 100% Daddy's Girl! There wasn't much that she didn't get on this trip! At home it's a little different, but we were at Disney!!!

The face painters were right outside of Kilamanjaro Safari. They had a permanent booth with 4 or 5 peopke there to do the face painting. There was a "menu" board with different designs. Emily's was called Rainforest Rainbow. They had some very pretty masks, but she was all about the rainbow! They also had some pretty cool boys designs! If Matthew was a little older we would have gotten him one too. I think hers was $12. I don't think any of the designs were over $15. Arminda and Lydia definately need to have this done! (And Tessa too!)

Yea!!! I found your TR. Great job so far; I love seeing all the pics. (Your kids are just adorable!) I just can't get over how you just learned to sew. That surely can't be true! Your outfits are just too stinkin cute! I can't wait to see more. :coffee:

After the face Painting, we met up with most of our party and headed to the safari! I brought my good zoom lens to the park just for this ride!!

Emily was so excited to see the baby elephant! Our zoo doesn't have elephants anymore.

This one isn't actually part of the Safari, but it's a pretty good picture. ;)

Matthew almost fell asleep on this ride! I guess it was all of the rocking. We did lots more at Animal Kingdom, but my battery was running low, and I wanted to make sure I was able to take pictures at dinner, so I stopped taking pictures at the park. But we did the Nemo show and a few other things while Bob and his brother and sister went and rode Everest! Next - Chef Mickey's!

Love your pictures from the safari (and the gorilla too!)

I can't believe you just learned to sew either! Maybe there is hope for me yet! :goodvibes

I had my mom walk me through the basics of sewing, and then I took off on my own. I'm glad she was able to help me - I don't know if I would have gotten started without her.
