A different tact on Affirmative Action

Granted this is in England but in our sue first society here in the USA this can only be a few years off. I wonder if some of these cases are filed here how it might change affirmative action. The guy does have a point...because he was presumably promoted to a higher position based on his race and not being the best for the job he was set up to fail. Can this argument hold true to say those who were admitted into Michagan (since that was the big case a few years back) fail and then blame the school for admitting them when they were not as qualified as other students and potentially sue for back-pay that the school made them miss now that their transcript doesn't look so good. I am defiantely not saying all who are let in under diversity rules fail but a certain percent will just as a certain percent always do but could these who do fail now have someone to blame versus those who fail who got in on merit alone.

This doesn't seem to be much about race. This seems to be about an opportunistic jerk, that rather than working hard at his job, found a political hot button to blame, and took advantage of the sensitive nature of his job. He knew he could get a settlement because Charles and Camilla would never agree to air their laundry in public.

Unfortunately, people who take advange of situations can be found in every color!

I think it's stupid, but if you promote someone you SHOULD provide them with the advanced training they need. That being said, it's hard to tell WHAT he was removed/reassigned for. These days, most employers can pretty much fire you for anything.
