Recently Disneyland announced that their photo services for the ride attractions will no longer be monitored by cast members. As a result, anyone that may be moved to do so, can flash, and pants at the photo sites for their accompanying rides. :scared1: :rotfl: :rotfl2:
Good grief!!....... and remember to cover little Timmies eyes ...... :lmao:

Exactly ..... ;) I learned of this news, a few weeks ago. I meant to share it sooner. Hopefully, it was not posted, previously.

This cut back is being done, so as to save money. The photographs not being monitored anymore, means not having to pay the CM, that would be in charge. So therefore there goes another job cut, by Disney.

It's ok that the Park no longer screens the photos for flashers- if I end up in a log with a naked stranger, I'll just call the *real* police :rotfl:

I STILL don't get why they announced the cut-backs ... last thing I need to see is a pubescent Hoo-Hah in a pic next to my kids head. Seriously, we will have words.

I'm all for calling the real cops...maybe cops on the premises will have Disney filling those positions again? ;)

Anyone heard or seen any of this yet?

I STILL don't get why they announced the cut-backs ...

They didn't announce it. Al Lutz did. They were just responding to many questions.

But others said that there was no ONE position for this; rather it was a rotation that the CMs there did.

The photos still won't be sold...but they might be seen.

It doesn't bug us, not really...all DS would do is probably exclaim "MILKS!!!!" :)

Seems to be more of a parental problem than a Disney problem.

Life is full of choices, they choose to show what God gave them, I choose to give them or their parental units a talkin to regarding said choices.

Did you know the UOG to Disneyland lists Flash Mountain as an attraction? :rotfl: I suspect the people most likely to do this would be young adults. Late teens, early twenties. I haven't taken a survey, just guessing.

Actually Disney did not announce this. The rumour mill states that employees leaked this to the media in an attempt to get media and internet coverage. Their hope would be that flashers would start flashing which would cause a ruckus and descent folks would be screaming at Disney for the possibility that their precious offspring might see naughty picture. Also the moral police would be demanding for the censors to return so as to protect descent folks from obscene signs such as the bird and feminine anatomy sans clothing.

And there technically wasn't a job cut...they just were moved to another assignment. Not a big deal. Naked pics will not be sold.

Ken my nudge wouldn't be so friendly :)

LOL!!! I know it's a decent sized problem on Splash Mountain, enough where there is a whole site dedicated to it. I hope this actually works out, if it does, it's a great way to cut back.

Disney has been cutting jobs left and right... ppl are gettin fired for any kind of reason...

Even if people are transferred there is a lost of positions. Instead of hiring 25 new people as bus boys and janitors they are keeping them low level people at low level so that higher seniority people can move from the defunct office to other jobs. When Yamabuki closed there was loss of total jobs available. The chef and waitress go to other restaurants thus the bus boy does not become a waiter and the waiter cannot become a lead.

I learned of this from a very short news story on KGO Radio San Francisco, Ca. 810 A M
I love this station, it is a Talk station. :) If the workers were being rotated then perhaps there will not be job losses, so that is good. There will be the possibility still though of improper photographs being shown next to little Timmy who is wearing his mouse ears. I know that I really would prefer not to see anything like that, in a G park.

The thing that would really irk me is if I WANTED the photo of ME and some twit ruined it for me. Especially if I had stood in line for a long time to get on the ride.

I wonder if people will be demanding to be put at the front of the line in order to "re-take" the photo.

Wouldn't it be great if they could put Goofy or Mickey over the offending part of the photo so everyone else could still buy the photo?

That's what I've been worried about since I heard about this.
