A delay for Titus...

Uggghhh!!!! I should have been watching for this one, I don't know what I was thinking...
Titus has sent word that his departure date has been pushed back. I don't know when the new date it scheduled or if it's scheduled at all.
I can't believe I didn't see this one coming and I let Ashli and I get our hopes all up. Usually I remember that the only thing that stays the same with the Army is change. Always changing, and usually yucky changes (although I was pretty happy when his departure date going to Iraq was pushed back so I guess I shouldn't fuss now). I'm kind of dreading telling Ashli when she gets home tonight. Oh well, knowing Ashli she won't even be that surprised. She was probably thinking this might happen all along.

Being a military wife I have seen this many times, you never get used to it. I hope the delay isn't a long one.

I really know what that is like . DH was pushed back leaving Iraq/Kuwait 1 week in 91, but that week was enough to make him miss the birth of our first child. Maybe it won't delay everything for Titus and he will still be home when he should. It really does seem to be the norm in the Army and I learned to think that way.
