It's time to put this trip report to bed!
So after meeting Duffy we were off to Canada for lunch. That is right! We had an ADR at Le Cellier.
It wasnt quite time yet though so we poked around Canada for a while. We found a place I didnt even know existed.
Anyone ever been up here? Its a nice quiet place at the top of the Canada pavilion. We browsed around the shop for a bit and then headed back down. We stopped for another picture.
We headed towards the restaurant and passed the lovely gardens. These may be the prettiest gardens on property.
I checked us in while DH and the kids went to find DHs favorite waterfall on property. Here they are returning from the brief excursion.
Before we knew it we were being escorted into the cellar. Weve eaten here before and love it. Mostly because of the pretzel bread and soup. This time did not disappoint either. Here are the boys waiting for their food.
I didnt take many food pictures. Wendy, however, insisted taking this shot of her dessert.
Looks yummy. There are a couple of other things I noticed when I looked at this picture. First of all I love the maple crème brulee that Im eating (that is me in the Minnie shirt.), but look how close the tables are together. The person in the white to my left is sitting at the next table.
You would think she is sitting right next to me. (She basically is.) The table was a woman bringing her daughter for her birthday. They were very nice which is good cause our tables were on top of each other. Crazy! It was a great meal and we all rolled ourselves out. The kids decided they wanted to make a mask like they have in the past. When we got to the mask making station we discovered they no longer make masks. Now we color Duffys. This was fabulous news for my boys and they happily complied.
It was time to exit Canada so we walked towards England and I took this picture
We decided to head into the toy store to see if we could meet the Pooh characters. We walked into what was once a toy store. In its place we saw this.
I have no idea when the Toy Soldier store was taken over by the Beatles and other English rock bands.
There was only one small corner of toys left. Here they are.
What hadnt changed was the meet n greet for our Seven Acre Woods pals. We had lots of fun with them this day.
I'm not sure what DH is doing in that last picture. I think he may be trying to sit like Tigger.
Our flight time was approaching so we decided we better head out. On our way out we stopped for a quick chat with a nanny.
We also made one last stop to chat with our old friend Stitch.
Stitch was being his usual self this day. He came right up to me and took the Duffy Stick I was holding on to. He used it as a backscratcher.
Then he decided we must have his autograph.
The boys loved all his antics, of course. Then we hopped in the car, drove to the airport and had an uneventful flight home. It was a short trip, but a great one. And we are going back down in less than a month! The next trip will include a 26.2 mile run so it might be a tad bit different.
Stay tuned for that report! Thanks to everyone for following along on this one.
