A Croc For All Seasons - It's done! Epilogue, p. 52

Thanks for the real update...some days go smoothly, others don't...this is good for me to remember since we're going w/a 2 yr old!

I never ate at Biergarten but I may have to try that on my '08 trip, due to your pics and recommendation.

The baby centers were a wonderful escape for us to get away from all the noise and into AC...wish there were more than one in each park!

So, you'd like to go back to Beirgarten in December, huh? :scratchin

Poor baby B! It's no wonder he was a fuss pot. I hope Leo didn't catch the virus...:scared: Last February brought with it a trip to the urgent care place just outside the gate. DS thought he had strep. Fortunately, he didn't and was better by the next day, but no one like to deal with buggers while away.

Must say, you handled it like a pro. And what a helper Leo is! And the picture of you and E as you were leaving? You'd never guess you had just been puked upon.

Glad Leo is home safe and sound to his momma:goodvibes

Oh I am so sorry! That totally gave me flashbacks of when Alec spewed outside of 50s Prime Time when he was 2. Not a pretty scene (or smell!). I'm glad you had fun at the Biergarten. Someday we'll try it out but I don't know about the food....

Leo missed Soarin ... and V got puked.

Poor baby B and poor Everyone (but E) for missing out on EP. No wonder the little guy was hating the Biergarten ~ his tummy was sad. :sad1:

Well, look at it this way...

You took one for the team. (almost 2):thumbsup2

Oh, almost forgot to ask~
Did grammy have all of that laundry washed when you got home?;)

Pooooor baby B!!!!

Illness at WDW...I think there should be some sort of charm or enchantment to prevent such a thing...(I may or may not be obsessed with JKR right now as well!)

OK ,V ,the thing that struck me the most about this day is your selflessness. I know you wouldn't say it but here I go on my soap box. I mean you go and plan this whole trip and kindly invite these people to join you and your whole day is spent helping them out etc....I am sorry, maybe I am in a bad mood but what was up with E??? When you go together like that, you stick together to help out at least....I dont know...that just struck me as inconsiderate :rolleyes1 And then after the baby was sick, she stayed??? :headache: So she basically blew you all off that day....grrrrrr!

OK I am off my soapbox....glad that you and Leo got in your two rides and a yummy lunch...great review of lunch! Love the food pics and descriptions! I am so sorry the baby got sick...I started to think so when he wasnt his usual self at lunch...poor baby. I hope things improved....great update as usual!!! :goodvibes

(Please tell me if I was rude...I think its pms :rotfl2: )

Day Five

But we are, in fact near the end. Of this trip. And this exposé on alternative Croc lifestyles and their accompanying hairstyles.

Did I miss todays hair update???

Don’t get me wrong, I love my mom. But. She drives me nuts. And, remember? She lives with me. So I’ll take any break I can get. I had no problem with her taking a WDW day off at all. As a bonus, she took all the dirty clothes with her. :cool1:

Know the feeling...but she took the laundry?? Wow, impressive!!!

Anyway, we took a bus to EP, got through the turnstiles, and picked up some FP’s for Soarin’. Then, E announced a need for coffee and a pastry. In France. And. She wanted to sit for a bit and people watch. While enjoying said coffee and pastry. Why not just stick forks in my eyes and be done with it, already? :scared:

Don't get me started.......(see soapbox above)

Note that there was no more of The Plan, only a fly-by-the-seat-of-our-pants plan.

:sad2: :sad2:

V wanted to rewind the day and start over with The Plan. And reminded everyone that we had an ADR for Biergarten in about 10 minutes.

Can you guess? Yep, E was full from her snack and decided to skip out on lunch.
:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:
The rest of us headed over to Germany for some lederhosen-clad food and fun!
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We were seated with a nice family with a little girl around Leo’s age. They shot dirty looks at each other across the table. No Love Connection there. We all ordered our beers and got started on the buffet.

Too funny:lmao:
We hoisted our steins into the air, toasted our tablemates, and partied it up. All except B. Who was not having any of it. NOT. HAPPY. He was.

Heads up when they won't eat and want to be held.....

So Leo and I offered to stay outside with B while D and E rode Soarin’, then we’d switch off. No problem. Piece of cake. And other such pearls of wisdom that sound like “this will be easy” but turn out to be a boatload of carp.
See you are so sweet!

The yakkin’. :scared1:

And I ain’t talking about talking. Chatting. Or gabbing.

OK well you may be sweet but now your a little stinky :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We stood in the entryway, B screaming up a storm and waited another 15 minutes for D and E. Felt like hours.

I bet it did!
At this point, Leo no longer wanted to ride Soarin’. I think we figured this day was done for and all he really wanted was to get in a ride on his favorite, Spaceship Earth.
Awww poor patient Leo

Clearly, B’s day was over, and D couldn’t possibly manage a sick baby, stroller and bags on the bus alone, (though she tried to tell me to stay!), and we decided that Leo and I would go back to the hotel with D and B, while E stayed to get some EP time in.

Well again...very sweet of you....ummm someone :snooty: is missing here....:confused3

More to come….

Can't wait!!!popcorn:: I hope its better for your sake!

OH V, that doesn't sound like a perfectly Disney day does it?

Um, I agree with what Cathy just wrote.

Hope B was OK, fevers can be scary with the little ones.

I have Biergarten on the list for February, hopefully Rosie the official Focker computer expert will be with us.

Sounds like you timed your vacations perfect with SSE maintenance, your little man won't miss out on his favorite.

OMG, V! You are SuperMom!! But I knew that before this installment! ;) I hope the baby was ok and just needed to get all that yucky out!

I have to agree with Cathy.... what is up with E? I guess when you're not a mom, your thinking is different... I dunno. :confused3

Biergarten looks fun! Hmmmm... is it too late to change some ADR's around? :smooth:

My title was stolen. The writer has made an attempt to fix, but it is still stolen. Now I know how LL felt...:sad1: :headache:

I missed this too...:confused3

I feel so lost....:rolleyes1

I mean, I'm SURE I know WHAT you're talking about, but...I still feel left out...

 for B. What a shame that he was so sick. Been there done that. Way to go V, quick thinking on your feet:thumbsup2
Poor Baby! Poor all of you! I hope things were okay later.
Thanks for the real update...some days go smoothly, others don't...this is good for me to remember since we're going w/a 2 yr old!
Thanks guys - it was definitely one of my more challening days at WDW! :rotfl:

So, you'd like to go back to Beirgarten in December, huh? :scratchin
Yuppers! :thumbsup2
You'd never guess you had just been puked upon.
:rotfl2: Thanks! Fortunately, he lostly got my bare legs, so cleaning up wasn't so bad. Gross, but pretty easy.
I'm glad you had fun at the Biergarten. Someday we'll try it out but I don't know about the food...
I wasn't sure about the food, either, but it really was delicious :thumbsup2
Oh, almost forgot to ask~
Did grammy have all of that laundry washed when you got home?;)
Sadly, no. :rotfl: But I prefer that she leave my stuff alone anyway - we have some very different idea about laundering rules. :rolleyes1

Hmmm... Expellae Morbus??! :wizard:

Aww, thank you! :goodvibes And you're not rude at all. To be honest, I wasn't mad, but was really confused by E. I'll have more on this in the next installment, though. ;)
OH V, that doesn't sound like a perfectly Disney day does it?
Nope, not so much!
I have Biergarten on the list for February, hopefully Rosie the official Focker computer expert will be with us.
SWEET! It's a perfect place for a DIS meet!
I have to agree with Cathy.... what is up with E? I guess when you're not a mom, your thinking is different... I dunno. :confused3
I think that's it exactly. ::yes::
Biergarten looks fun! Hmmmm... is it too late to change some ADR's around? :smooth:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

YAY!! Welcome home, little man!!! We've all been waiting for you to get back!!:cool1:

Here's the best part: Leo's been telling everyone at school that he was in PARIS for two weeks! :rotfl2: Not even remotely possible, as I haven't been able to get his picture taken for a passport application, but you sure can tell he's my child, no?!

Oh...my...what a day you guys had!!

Vomitos babies are no fun at all!! And when they are so little that they can't tell you want they need it makes ya feel horrible!!!

At least you and your little man got some dancing time...tooo cute!!

Glad to hear that Leo is home from Paris!!!!

 Poor little guy! Sorry your Epcot day got cut short. :sad1: We all know you had the perfect Epcot day planned... sometimes it just doesn't work out. You gotta just go with it - and try again next time. (I guess that's why there always is a next time! :goodvibes ) Sooo, you liked Beirgarten, huh? We haven't eaten there... but since Conner is taking German in school, I'm thinkin' we've got to go sometime soon... hmmm... I read Me(l)'s TR's too, and I was almost convinced... but not quite. I guess we have to go now that you've given the :thumbsup2

-Michelle

How are the December plans coming along? :santa:

V, sorry you had such a crummy day! I hope the evening was better and that Baby B was feeling good for the last day at Disney...

Aren't you so proud of Leo for being so helpful and not running away in disgust??? (Which is what my kids would do...)

Denise

So pleased Leo's back and he's been to Paris ;) what a lucky boy, and back to school already :confused3

Sorry. JK Rowling has taken over my life.
I've just finished it :yay:

As a bonus, she took all the dirty clothes with her. :cool1:
Way to go Mum :thumbsup2

B wanted everyone to shut up and let him snooze. I think.
:rotfl2:

Yakkin’, as in everything sweet baby B had in his tummy was no longer in it. It was on him. And me. And the stroller. And the ground.
 OMG poor little B and you of course too!

I sent Leo back into the bag to search for clothing. Such a good helper,
awww bless him what a good boy

while E stayed to get some EP time in.
What  she just left you all there

I missed this too...:confused3

I feel so lost....:rolleyes1

I mean, I'm SURE I know WHAT you're talking about, but...I still feel left out...
:rotfl2: Sorry LL :rotfl2:

BTW Hi Michelle :wave2: Haven't seen you around in ages :)

Poor little baby B. He really had it! I do think that Leo was the man of the day! What a big helper he was during your time of stress & not enough hands! :thumbsup2 Here's hoping your evening was better. Glad to hear your little man is back home with Mommy! ::yes:: It probably seemed like forever to you. Now, when it comes to our moms...yes, I agree, they can work on the very last nerve you have. :rotfl2: I think that's their job at this stage of life! :lmao:

Ok finally caught up. Loving all the dining reviews though. I love the Concourse at the CR too! I would so love to stay there, I know it's not as "magical" looking as the other resorts, but the convenience of the monorail and it going right through the middle is so fun.

Awwww that sucks that baby B got sick, that is one thing nobody can plan. At least you had fun at Biergarten. E sounds like some of the people from my All Girls Trip, it's so hard to keep people sticking with the Plan. Did she become a Waldo?

Thats so funny you should say that cause I was thinking that too! What is it about Epcot that makes groups wonder?:rotfl2:

V-Great quick thinking and hands when BabyB had his "issues"! Wow - I am so impressed with Leo helping out like he did! I remember being on vacation when DS was 9months and burning up with fever...its so hard to deal with away from home:sick: . I've never used the Baby Centers, I didn't know that they had anti-fever meds there. Thanks for enlightening me!
Also, thanks for the Biergarten review - I suggested it for our upcoming trip but MIL and SIL didn't want to try it, just not adventurous gals:sad2: . Maybe we'll do it on a future trip.
