A Croc For All Seasons - It's done! Epilogue, p. 52

At least you and your little man got some dancing time...tooo cute!!
That we did! And I don't think I've mentioned... Leo has NO rhythm. None. Which is pretty funny considering I spent a good chunk of my life in the ballet.
You gotta just go with it - and try again next time. (I guess that's why there always is a next time! :goodvibes )
::yes::
Sooo, you liked Beirgarten, huh? We haven't eaten there... but since Conner is taking German in school, I'm thinkin' we've got to go sometime soon...
Definitely check it out - I really think your family would like it! :thumbsup2
How are the December plans coming along? :santa:
Sadly for me, they're DONE. :sad2: I'm not digging this setting ADR's 6 months in advance stuff, I ahve to say. But I'm glad I did - I called at the 180+10 mark and couldn't get Leo's pirate cruise on my first date choice nor my first choice of time for Ohana
Aren't you so proud of Leo for being so helpful and not running away in disgust??? (Which is what my kids would do...)
I really was! He never fails to surprise me
So pleased Leo's back and he's been to Paris ;) what a lucky boy, and back to school already :confused3
Well, I use the term "school" somehwat loosely... his tuition for Pre-K covers a full year, so no need to find camps this summer. Next summer will be another story...
What  she just left you all there
She sure did!
Now, when it comes to our moms...yes, I agree, they can work on the very last nerve you have. :rotfl2: I think that's their job at this stage of life! :lmao:
Yeah, I think this might be payback for my teen years :rolleyes1
Ok finally caught up. Loving all the dining reviews though. I love the Concourse at the CR too! I would so love to stay there, I know it's not as "magical" looking as the other resorts, but the convenience of the monorail and it going right through the middle is so fun.
I know - I'm seriosuly thinking of making one last ADR in Sept, before it goes awya forever :sad1:
E sounds like some of the people from my All Girls Trip, it's so hard to keep people sticking with the Plan. Did she become a Waldo?
Ummm, can I say this politely? E is pretty much ALWAYS a Waldo! :rotfl:
I've never used the Baby Centers, I didn't know that they had anti-fever meds there. Thanks for enlightening me!
Hey, I never knew about them, either, till D and I went to EP last year without B and she needed a place to "pump". She raves about the Baby Center, and the First Aid was terrific! :thumbsup2

V, isn't that the beauty of annual passes and not living too far away? When the plan goes out the window, you can come back again, and again, and again! Good for you for going with the flow.

Here's the best part: Leo's been telling everyone at school that he was in PARIS for two weeks! :rotfl2: Not even remotely possible, as I haven't been able to get his picture taken for a passport application, but you sure can tell he's my child, no?!
OOOhhhh...Paris!!!:lmao: We went to the beach and on the way there passed a cell phone tower off in the distance and Michael yelled out "Look mom! PARIS!!" :confused3 Ratatouille?? Where's this Paris thing coming from with these boys??

Hmmmm....perhaps you could do a little jig for us??:dance3:

You did get a cruise though, right?

ITA with Angela...and very impressed with Leo's being a big helper too!! You're SO raising that little guy right!! :thumbsup2

V~

I just noticed your ticker......when will you be at the "world" in December?? Do you mean there may be a chance for me to "actually" meet, IN-PERSON, the famous "V" ?!?

COOL...... :woohoo:

Well, at least the day started off leisurely...
I think that Nemo ride is great and it's good that you and Leo got to hang out in the Seas for a while.
Biergarten sounds very tasty! Especially with beer! Looks like you had a fun time despite the fussy baby.
Poor little baby B with a 103 fever. He was probably just not feeling well at all that whole time. Quick thinking in the dire situation with the yakking! Leo did a great job helping you out too!
Hope everything works out!

That might be... plus, the only other time Leo's been away from me more than a few days, I was in Paris. I think he thinks "Paris" is where poeple go when they're on vacation! :rotfl:
Hmmmm....perhaps you could do a little jig for us??:dance3:
Uh..... no. Maybe after a few Lapu Lapus :rolleyes1
You did get a cruise though, right?
Sure did! Albatross, from the Yacht Club.

12/16-12/21 at BWV!
Well, at least the day started off leisurely...
True, true... ;)

OH, YES !!!!!!! We are there from the 11th through the 18th......ya up for meet on Monday ?? LMK :rolleyes1

I'd love to meet up! Leo's cruise its Monday morning and then we're heading to MGM. Maybe Sunday? We'll be at EP most likely. I'll PM as more details get hammered out! :thumbsup2

Hey, V!

I've been away so just got to the latest episode. I'm SO sorry about Baby B. You were such a quick thinker - I hate the "sick" clean up so much that I'm sure I would have panicked, especially with someone else's kid and supplies. Way to go!

And, I agree that Leo was superb. :)

E. is D.'s sister, no? That's just too weird. I don't know if it has anything to do with the parent thing, though - my dearest friend doesn't have kids yet, but she'd never leave me like that! :rolleyes1 Perhaps it's just her Waldoesque nature.

Anyway, glad lunch was at least fun! More, please!

V,
I'm going up to DC tomorrow (can you say 9 hours in the car with the three boys.....UGH!!!). Any chance of an update before I go? Please?

I'm sorry guys! :guilty: Busy week and a ridiculously busy Tuesday - I only had time for a couple fly-by posts yesterday.

But I have been working on the next installment and hope to finish it up today!

I'd like to take this post to say
THANK YOU!
for reading along and making trip-reporting so much fun! :grouphug:

As you’ll recall, D, B, Leo and I were on our way out of EP after B’s yak-fest, leaving E to do some more touring on her own. We made it to the CSR bus stop no problem. And had the looooongest bus wait of the entire trip. Figures.

The bus finally arrived and got this close, this close to our stop – the last of the CSR stops, of course – when B yakked again. Only thing left in his tummy was red Motrin and it conveniently landed on the equally red sarong. That was a plus.

D and B headed to their room, hoping baby B might take a nap if Mommy held him in the cool dark. I thought Leo might want to go for a swim before dinner but no, he “jus wanna pway in my woom Mommy.” So he played with his JoJo shoe and I caught up on my tabloid news. Wow, this really IS a vacation!

We started getting hungry and called D to see if they wanted to either join us at the Pepper Market or have us bring something back. Nope – D was waiting for E to get back, figuring she wouldn’t want to be left out. Okay. I had my doubts about that. TFI. :rolleyes1

Leo and I picked up some chow to bring back to the room and V picked up one FIIINE margarita on the rocks! :thumbsup2 There’s a little bar to the right as you walk into the Pepper Market and let me tell you, they make a MEAN margarita! I’ll have back-up on this shortly.

We repeated our earlier Pepper Market meals – hot dog, Bourbon Chicken – so I won’t bother with a review. Suffice it to say all was great once again!

I didn’t want to leave the stinky food containers in the room, and hoped to make it to the pool, so Leo and I decided to take a walk. D had called while we were eating and said she was going to rock in the hammock outside our rooms with B for a bit, then would join us for a walk. So, Leo and I found D and B rocking peacefully in said hammock and it looked like things were getting better in their world!

SPLAAAT.

Splattity-splat-splat.

Splat.

TMI? Sorry. But, yeah, B was yakkin’ again. Apparently, he’d downed 2 bottles of formula in the room. And. The formula was now covering D and the hammock. It was bad, Really, really bad. So bad, we all headed to D’s room, where she stripped B and put him right into the tub. And here’s where it gets funny.

I was just sitting on the bed, watching TV and waiting till I was needed to take over B duty so D could get in the shower. (Yes, it was THAT bad.:scared: ) Leo asks if he can go help with B’s bath. Yeah, I guess, but knock first and ask D if it’s okay.

Next thing I know, D’s laughing hysterically and asking Leo what he’s doing… I go over and find my child NAKED, and ready to get in the tub! Apparently, he was all about some tub time. D and I agreed that another time would really be better and Leo got re-dressed. Told you they bonded! :rotfl2:

Anyway, D got cleaned up and decided she should probably stay put with B for a while. By this time, Gramma was back and E had called to say she was still at EP and planned to stay for the fireworks.

:confused3

I know.

And. I agree – I was a tad miffed as well. Admittedly, E doesn’t have kids and doesn’t know much about taking care of them. I get that. Because, before Leo, I knew nothing about babies. Really, I’d have been the last person you’d want to turn your kid over to in a bind. And I’m still not real excited about watching other people’s kids; B’s the exception rather than the rule. Remember – I’m not getting Parent of the Year for good reasons.

So, when D needed to use the ladies' room and E didn’t offer to hold B, I understood. And when Gramma entertained B whilst D finished eating her dinner, while E read the MK map, I understood. And even when E wanted to do some exploring sans kidlets while we ate at Biergarten, I understood.

But I was having a hard time with her decision to stay at EP. And. So was D. A little. We talked about it some in the midst of cleaning up and we both agreed that we were glad E was willing to tour on her own, as we’d have felt awful about her coming all the way down here and not seeing anything. We agreed that we can come back for a re-do any time, whereas E might not be back to EP, her favorite place in WDW, for years. We even agreed that we hoped she was having a nice time.

And.

We might have laughed. Just a little. When we saw the torrential rain start to come down. And looked at all the rain gear. Sitting in the room with us. Heh heh.

By this time, Gramma was back from her escape day and it was bedtime for Leo, so Gramma went to the Pepper Mill to pick up dinner for herself and D, while I got my boy into bed. I suggested – strongly – that she pick up a margarita. Or three. Which she did…. And D and Gramma backed me up on this: these are some AMAZING margaritas! :cool1:

After our crazy day, it wound up being an uneventful evening. Which was nice. For a change. Watched a little TV, read Leo’s Bday books, and settled in for a good night’s sleep. Our last night’s sleep in The World. sniff, sniff

Coming soon(ish): I may conclude this thing before the next trip. Or not.

Ohhhh, poor baby B. Poor D.

I'm glad you all got some margaritas, and some decent dinner. I love that Leo wanted to join in the bath! (My twins won't bathe alone, but they're used to it.)

I love that it rained. That might make me a bad person, but still... :rotfl: You made some good points about E., though I'm not sure that the "no kids" is that much of an excuse if you're an aunt, (even if she's not used to kids, does she not like her sister?) but the "probably not coming back anytime soon" part is a little more understandable.

Thanks for the update, V!
