A Croc For All Seasons - It's done! Epilogue, p. 52

Mmmmm...dole whips! (I pronounce the "h")

Not a Dole Whip fan. I know I'm in the minority. And wow...when I saw your mom's smile, I totally saw you (only older) ;) . Waiting for more....but thanks for this update!

Wow!! What a nice surprise! And after the day I've had, this was an awesome way to wind down!!:thumbsup2

And can I just say, Mmmmmm....Dole Whips....LOOOOVE THEM!!!:cloud9:

Super sweeeet!!! A BOGO installment!! :woohoo:

I have to admit, I've never had a Dole Whip.

Never here, never there.
Never a Dole Whip.
Anywhere.

I'll have to try one. Since you insist. Oh and an eggroll. 'Cause I loves me some good eggrolls.

I'm sad this report is winding down. But, I know there is some good stuff on the horizon. :thumbsup2:

Day Six
The all-mighty Dole Whip.

WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trumpets flared and angels sang. The Earth stood still. Peace reigned and people everywhere were consumed with joy.

Get the Dole Whip, is what I’m sayin’.

Yes, Yes!!!!!:woohoo: I do agree! I tried my first Dole Whip this past June trip! I don't know why I waited soooooo long! Definitely not waiting long for another one. It's on the to do list for our November trip! :woohoo:

Sounds like a pretty good start, darn Jungle Cruise line notwithstanding...

Hooray!

Wow that baby was sick, huh? Poor guy! Glad he was better for the last day though! How funny that Leo wanted to hop right in the tub!

Man, I love those Dole Whips! YUMMO! We had our first ones this last trip as well. Definitely a must do from now on!

awww....poor little B....but i must say....
...that was hilarious.
Thanks! And I have to admit, D and I laughed a lot about the whole situation. I mean, what else can you do when half of you are covered in yak? :confused3
Hey V! I'm so sorry that Baby B had such a rough afternoon/evening. At least it wasn't BOTH ends!! :rotfl2:
:faint: I never thought of that - you're RIGHT!!!
I really think I need to buy a new pair of crocs for the Jan/Feb trip but I dunno if it'll be too chilly for sandle type shoes... LOL!
Okay, keep in mind this is coming from a Floridian... Jan/Feb are COLD down here. 70's are possible, but so are 20's. 50-60's are probably average. I need me some socks for winter touring.
Hey V,
Back from my quickie trip to the world, and caught up. I dont know how you do it living in FL with the heat and humidity. It was hotter than if we were on the sun!!
Welcome back T!! Are we gonna get a trippie out of this? I don't handle the heat down here well at all. Funny thing is, I was fine the first couple summers after I moved. Since then, each summer it seems to affect me more adversely. I'm planning on 2 weeks in Maine next summer! :rotfl:

BTW let me know about the capris, I am considering ordering a pair. I would love your input as you have been right with all the other shoes:thumbsup2
Glad to be of service! Absolutely, I'll give a full report. :thumbsup2

::yes:: ::yes:: ::yes:: Yummo - the Dole Whip was a WINNER!

And wow...when I saw your mom's smile, I totally saw you (only older) ;) . [/COLOR]
People don't usually pick up on how much we look alike right away, her being so fair and me so dark, but we have almost identical facial expressions.
Wow!! What a nice surprise! And after the day I've had, this was an awesome way to wind down!!:thumbsup2
Yay, glad to help!

Perhaps.... a little stop at teh Dole window is in order after LOEMH? :rolleyes1

It was! :thumbsup2

PrincessV, your TR is just great, you're keeping me giggling at work. I feel like I'm learning a lot of useful tips, as I keep reading about E and thinking "uh oh, I might have done the same."

I think that for those of us without kids, even the simple act of offering to hold sweet baby B could totally slip your mind as a common courtesy. "What, you don't want to be glued to your precious infant 24/7?!?" ;)

I love it 2 updates! Poor Baby B, glad he felt better the next day.

Um, I have a confession, I never had a dole whip:guilty: I think I need to make that a must do in October.

Poor Leo, and what is up with the JC having an 1 hour wait right after it opens?

Whew - finally caught up again. So many stops and starts for me because of too much work at work!!! Again, thanks for this TR (I am sorry to see it coming to a close soon)....I am so enjoying it and the friendly (funny) banter amongst the TFW crew.
Poor BabyB, he really had it bad! I'm so glad that he was feeling better the next day!:goodvibes
The Dole Whip....we've never tried it, but it has sparked much debate between DH and I. We keep arguing about where it is found as neither of us can ever remember seeing the place where you get them (there's only one place in MK, right?) I want to try one next trip:flower3:

That would be the Niles. It's not so much that they're uncomfy, as I have no arch, so the narrower fit left me with blisters on the insides of my feet.

On second thought, that is uncomfy, ins't it?!

Ya know, I think they must have took the Niles off the market cuz they aren't on the Croc site anymore. On another note, they have a new style now, the Alice (a slimmer mary Jane style). Just thought I'd pass that along.

Wooohooo more updating. C'mon V you can finish this report before your 21 Lapu Salute trip! :cheer2: (still can't believe I'm missing this by a week....:sad2: )

I'm glad Baby B was feeling better though.

I've never had a Disney Dole Whip :scared1: I can never find the freaking Dole Whip place. I know it's in Adventureland somewhere but as soon as I see POTC I lose all track of whatever else is around.

Next time ;) (Which is in 9 days!!!! :yay: )

PHEW!!!! Miss a few days and you miss a lot!!! I'm all caught up now!!

Poor B AND D!!!!! Glad he was better the next morn though. I know D was too!

The Dole whips sound good. I've gotta get one of those!!!!:goodvibes

You can find Dole Whips in Adventureland at Aloha Isle snack stand. It is just after the bridge into Adventureland on the right side, kind of across from Swiss Family Treehouse.
They are amazing.
You can also get them at the Poly snack bar(Captain Cooks Snackbar--on 1st floor)

Hi V -
Glad you had some downtime and a nice margarita to relax with. Poor baby B...D sounds like she was calm, cool and collected. I get such angst when my kids are sick. MK day sounds like a good time! Was it crowded or hot?? Sorry Leo didnt get a last ride on JC but the Dole Whips seems to have cured all. Where were you eating that day?? Hope you had a great meal...looking forward to more! :thumbsup2

Saw you'd posted whilst at my Dad's but thought I'd save it till I got home so I could read it properly :goodvibes

TMI? Sorry. But, yeah, B was yakkin’ again.
Oh no :sad2:

Leo what he’s doing… I go over and find my child NAKED, and ready to get in the tub!
Ahhh bless him that's so sweet, hope they get their bath together before Leo gets to old!

We might have laughed. Just a little. When we saw the torrential rain start to come down. And looked at all the rain gear. Sitting in the room with us. Heh heh.
I'm with you, hilarious :rotfl2:

Speaking of B…. he awoke a whole new baby!
That's great :goodvibes

It opened at 10am. We arrived at 10:20am. And found a 60 minute wait. :scared1:

WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A Dole Whip is definately on my list for 11 days time :yay:

Boysmom - thanks for this info:goodvibes ...however this is right where DH said the Dole Whip place was, thus he was right and I was way wrong. (Nobody tell him I just said that. Uh oh - he does DIS but thankfully he doesn't seem to be into TRs!!!) I'm sure I will hear enough when we're there and find the Dole Whips right where he said they would be:confused3
Geez - we could have gotten one at Poly???:sad2: We've really been Dole Whip clueless!!! And...since V has testified to its magic powers with boys having a "difficult time":wizard: , we could have really used one on past trips!!!! Next time....

Yep, I agree 100% - realyl, I had NO clue until I had one of my own. And, BTW, all I elarned when he was a baby is comepletely lost 5 years later... I babysat B one night and needed remedial formula mixing instructions before D left. She was like, "Didn't you have a baby?!" :rotfl2:

Um, I have a confession, I never had a dole whip:guilty:
:faint: And you call yourself a DISer?! ;)

Whew - finally caught up again. So many stops and starts for me because of too much work at work!!!
That darned work, always getting in the way! :rotfl:

Oh wow, interesting... I'll have to take a look, thanks!
