A Croc, a pair of crocs, Karma and what is all this stuff around my neck? update 6/17

I am with you....I would jump up and down and make a fool out of myself!!!! I can't believe that "they" are so clueless sometimes!!! So, how much did you use that thing in MGM????

To tell you the truth, I didn't use any of them:laughing: It wasn't that crowded, but it makes a great souvenier.

Hey Mo,

Yeah so maybe I was a little jealous of those dream fastpasses, I cant lie. But glad that if someone else had to get them it was you and not THEM!! SO, do you get to use them at any park or only MGM, and can them be used any day or just the day you get them?Oh and do you get to keep it when you are done?

Ok so how long did it take to you walk to MGM? and what were you thinkin??

I cant wait to see who you meet??:rolleyes1

The dream FP is only good for that day and that park. But as I just posted I didn't even use it. I do have it and it is with all my other Disney stuff. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately it has the date on it so you can't use another time.

Oh and wait until you hear how fabulous the peeps I met at the Dismeet were:rolleyes1

We normally stay at BWV and always walk to MGM & Epcot. We make it faster than riding the boats. Of course I should say that my kids walk, I am on a scooter so I drive over. But it really is a nice walk, very pretty and relaxing. :hippie:

Day 5, May 2nd continued…

After being presented with my Dream FP, I head over to Narnia, I have great memories of those books as a kid. I had read the reviews on the Dis, but I wanted to see for my self. Let’s just say, um, WASTE! OF! TIME!

Ooh, look it’s almost Dismeet time. I have an 11 am meet with PrincessV to exchange Fritzie Von Crocker by Gertie. V is there waiting with her Mom and son, what a cutie.

A few minutes later boysmom5150 showed up with her DH and 2 sons.

We all stood around chatting like we were long lost friends. As it turns out boysmom’s DH works about 10 minutes from my house. It’s a small small world after all…

It was a great meet and it’s nice to meet the folks behind the username.:thumbsup2

After the meet I headed to Star Tours, walked right on. Next I decided to try LMA. It was a spur of the moment thing, and well, I won’t be doing it again. To tell the truth I got up and walked out in the middle. Sorry, cars ain’t my thing.

I toyed with the idea of trying to do Muppets before lunch, but thought twice about it as it was getting close to my ADR at Sci Fi. I got there a little early, but was seated quickly.

I do enjoy the theming and the rueban’s here. I haven’t eater dinner here, but I do recommend lunch.popcorn::

I gotta say it was hot today and after a few more attractions, I headed back to BC.

Note to rude people on how to behave. I was waiting for the boat and there is the awning type thingy you can wait under. Well, there was quite a wait for the boat and people were left standing in the sun. This one guy with his son and mother(?) walked past some of us and stood under the awning, I was like WOW, more rudeness. Nope. When the boat came all the people that were there before he let go in front, he just wanted to stand in the shade. I have no problem with that.

Also, I have to mention the one woman I saw in the park and again on the boat. She had a black dress on, ok, nothing to write about. Then there was the bright green headband, ok still nothing too outrageous. Then there were the bright green and black striped tights.

When I saw her in the park, I assumed (yes, I do know what happens when you assume:rolleyes1 )that she was part of the show. :confused3 But then she was on the boat too. I tried to take a pic, but she stayed on the boat and I just couldn’t.

So since I had the camera I snapped these.

Oh these weren't lime, these were NEON, I swear when I first saw her, I thought wicked witch from Wizard of Oz.

You gotta be stealth with the camera, Mo.:cool2: I would have so snuck a picture of that! :lmao:

I really need you to teach me your stealth moves. There were a few things this trip that were screaming take my picture, but I just knew they would have caught me. The one time I tried the pic totally didn't come out.

I am with you, I would have so jumped up and down and screamed if I won a dream too :thumbsup2 Great DIS meet you all look lovely :goodvibes

Exactly, who doesn't get excited when they win something:confused3

Day 5, May 2nd continued…

I decided to try AK’s evening EMH. I have always avoided all EMH, bit figure I will at least give it a try. So off to AK I went. Got my lovely paper like bracelet and set off for EE. It wasn’t park closing yet, and the Single rider line was open. I hopped on that bad boy and that’s when I saw it.:scared1:

Ladies, remember the previous PSA, well, not just white clothing pertains. There getting on EE was a, shall we say Pooh size, lady in a red dress. Apparently she was on the wrong side of the raft on Kali. It was quite obvious to the world that she has preference for black thongs. Oh I can still hear the snickers of those standing on the single rider line with me.

So with any sort of real wait I am off to see the Yeti. Love this ride.

I have never been in AK this time of day and heard it might be a good time to see animals. Let’s put that rumour to bed now. :sad2: 5 pm is not a good time.

But before we get ahead of ourselves I would like to share another great parenting example. :thumbsup2 I enter the queue area for KS and as I am approaching the ride loading area, I hear a thunder of footsteps coming from behind. Suddenly, a typical family of 4 is racing past me, nearly running into to me. I look at a CM and said, I guess somebody is in a hurry to save Big Red. The CM got a chuckle out of it:laughing: , I got a dirty look from the Mom. Oh well, because karma struck again, while rude family had to wait for the next truck, I was seated right behind the driver on the one that was just about to leave. See ya rudeness.

Well, as it turns out this driver stunk, (maybe my sarcasm was lost on Karma) we went through the safari so fast it felt like a Nascar race:car: . At one point we were driving past some giraffes, one of the few animals out, and it look like the new baby giraffe was out too. The driver never even mentioned it. The giraffes were on the left and he was rambling on about something or other on the right.:confused3 I turned around and the whole truck is looking left at the giraffes.

Since I would still like to see some animals I take a stroll through the Pangani trail before heading to get something to eat.

Now, I have heard some good things about Flame Tree:confused3 , and I thought I would give it a try. I won’t be bothering to go back there anytime soon. YUK!!! I had some sort of sandwich and it was horrible.:scared:

Off to see the Yeti one more time and then I hit Dinosaur. Just a personal, while I do like Dinosaur, I really wish we had Indy like at Disneyland, such a better ride.

Anywho, I spent the rest of the time just strolling around looking at the gift shops, when I see a different type of business card holder then the one I bought. I like this one better. Hmm, I wonder if this one is at World of Disney. Might need to go back to DTD. Just for an exchange of course:rolleyes1

Next up a water rollercoaster.:cool1:

:scared1: I bet she thought she was safe in red :rotfl2:

Not again, how rude

But were you sportin' a black thong or white shorts sans panties?? :lmao:

Okay...so what is it with all the rude families....I am definately going to take extra care of any solo travelers I see from here on out!! (Not that I recall ever being rude to any...)

So, it seems that AK was pretty ermm, dull? Am I mistaken????

Hi PM - I havent meant to be stalking but it seems I may have. I read up to post #115 and then I checked back today to finish and there's like 5 more pages and lots of updates and posts. :thumbsup2 You Go Girl.....You win the prize :wizard: for the best flowing trip report. No long 2 or 3 week waits between updates here! :goodvibes
Absolutely love your trippie and I am so sorry about your foot. Yikes two injuries in a row and all you say is, " I am glad I have crocs on so my foot can swell better????" :rotfl: :rotfl:

Keep up the great reporting!:yay:

I have avoided that one, so far. I really hope the new buffet and the new yak and Yeti offer something edible.

Indy ROCKS!! :cool1:

As I said in an earlier installment, I think because rude people were allowed to breed, there are just more of them;)

AK, is a great park, though it is a billion degrees hotter than the other parks. It has come a long way from when it opened, especially with adding EE:cool1:

Stalking is o.k. no need to apologize.:goodvibes

I have just trying doing 1 update per day, because I know me if I drag it out I won't finish it.

As for the foot, I will take a bad foot day in WDW over a good foot day in the real world.
