A Croc, a pair of crocs, Karma and what is all this stuff around my neck? update 6/17

So there I stand 1st one at the rope. I don’t feel the need to stand right on top of it. A family with 2 fairly young kids show up, Mom with one kid on my left and Dad with the other kid on my right. Why they didn’t stand together I couldn’t figure out , until… they crowded me out . Yep, I am now standing behind THEM. One of the CM’s noticed and we just looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders . Can you imagine these kids as adults if this is what they are being taught now???

So the rope drops and everyone rushes in. I really can’t be bothered rushing but THEM remain directly in front of me. Guess they can’t be bothered rushing either.

Well just like THEM last night, I had the last laugh . We all headed to SM. As we made our way to where you are assigned the # to stand on, they were given the back of the spaceship and I got seat #1 on the next one. So THEM crowding me out worked for me in end.

From there I tried save the Universe over at Buzz, nothing to report here, so we can just move on. (in case you need clarification, my score stunk up the place )

Ooh, look Monster Inc is opened. So in I go, I must have just missed the last show as I end up standing there for quite a while. From there you are let into another room and wait some more. Finally you are all let in the theatre. I won’t give much away, but it is enjoyable and I will do this again.

At this point I need to start watching the time as I have Dis meet at 10:30 at POTC. I start heading over to Adventure land with a restroom stop on the way. I take a look at JC, but the wait is too long and I will be late. The pirate tutorial will be starting soon so I just wandered around the gift shops in the area while waiting.

A short time later Captain Jack shows up and gives us a very entertaining pirate tutorial. It is now getting close to 10:30 so I go and stand in front of POTC. A few minutes later Tiggerbell (Jaime) shows up with her peeps. I have to say they had some great shirts on. Loved them.

I have been fostering one of the crocs from here http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1352416. Jaime has been traveling with her own Captain Jack. We take a few pics and ride POTC together.

We parted ways after our pirate adventure as they were shopping in the gift shop that I just went through (and I was determined not to spend a lot of souvenirs this trip ) and I was off to ride some mountains.

I maintain that something was screwy with the scoring that week. Really - I must have shot up that volcano like 50 times and only got credit once.

Argh, I STILL haven't caught this. We just never seem to get there at the right time and I've never found a CM or brochure that spells out just when Cap'n Jack will show up.

We rode Buzz 11 times and I'm not exaggerating. My score stunk prob 8 out of the 11 times. That volcano just wasnt working right I tell ya!

No way! You're so nice, Waldo would've taken those kids out! Not that I condone that kind of behaviour or anthing.

After my pirate adventure I head over to Frontierland. With a short wait I get on Splash, and boy do I get splashed. It wasn’t on the big drop, I was already soaked before that. You know that section where you pass under another log, well I got soaked from the water splashing from above.

PSA, ladies if you anticipate going on any type of water ride DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT WEAR WHITE. I can’t tell you how many times this trip I saw, well, let’s just say I saw too much.

From Splash I headed over to BTMRR where, again, there was little wait. Next up was Haunted Mansion, but on the way I stopped at the drink cart by SM and BTMRR. I lost my water bottle drink strap since my last trip so I picked one up. So I now have, my sunglass thingy, my Focker Lanyard, my small bag and now a water bottle hanging around my neck. Holy Tourist Batman. The sunglasses are going to be kept in my bag when inside from now on. And the bag is going in my drawstring tote.

Again there is really no wait to get into HM, I am loving this. Glad to see they are re-habbing this, it does need it (and sorry folks who are going this summer, but I am glad it is not down during any of my trips).

Off to Fantasyland for MP, this is my favorite 3-D show, EVER. So as I am walking right into the theater as there is no wait. A family comes running from behind with Mom yelling, hurry they are going to close the doors. Um, no, but because she is insisting that they are going to get locked out Dad runs into my right foot. See my right foot is full of titanium, yep, I got a nice plate and pins holding the 5th metarsal together. OUCH!

O.K. why is this called Mickey’s Philarmagic, it’s all Donald, no wonder poor Donald feels the way he does.

Anywho, I stroll a bit through FL and the shops and walk around to where FL meets TL and use that bathroom that is tucked in a corner there. As I am walking out, boom, stroller into… that’s right my right foot. Thank goodness I have crocs, as my foot has plenty of room to swell up. I decide it’s time for lunch and head to my fav Columbia Harbor House, where I can sit for awhile and eat my favorite tuna sandwich with a slaw side.

I love CHH and I love when the upstairs is open. It is much quieter than downstairs and offers a very relaxing place to eat a CS lunch. I get a table that overlooks the HM when ever I can.

Ok I should explain....I had on my nice white shorts because I knew no water rides that day. However I wasnt expecting that the baby would take a full bottle of water and dump it in my lap when I wasnt paying attention to him because I was too busy people watching(what a good mom I am). Well lets just say that when DH got off TT with DS4 I had to have him go buy me a jacket to I could tie it around my waist!! Thank god it was hot and I dried quickly.

So I now have, my sunglass thingy, my Focker Lanyard, my small bag and now a water bottle hanging around my neck. Holy Tourist Batman.

Still reading along and taking notes. We've never done the Backstage Magic Tour. (...waiting for our youngest to be old enough ) It's on our WDW to do list. Your pictures are really great. I especially like the Flower & Garden shots! I can't wait to read more...

I KNOW! Between a lanyard, camera, backpack and water bottle, I felt like a pack mule!
