A couple of travel questions

Hello,

I have a couple of quick hitters:

1. How would you all recommend I purchase combined tickets online for Disney and Universal (mostly Disney and maybe 1-2 days at Universal)? What websites would you recommend?

2. On an unrelated note, how soon should myself +1 other person book our flights/hotels for mid-late December? I know the parks and airfare become a little crazy around then, but I'm wondering about the best time to book those flights and hotels in advance.

There's no real combo ticket since they're separate companies. The more days you buy, the less expensive each day becomes. For a 1-2 day ticket, you won't find much of a discount anywhere. I'd check AAA and Undercovertourist.com for a few bucks off for both sets.

For hotels, I'd book ASAP. The prices, at least at Disney, are set. They aren't going down. Depending upon your dates, you may be able to add the room discount but the longer you wait the less may be available.

Flights are rough. I believe roughly 72 days out is when the rates are best just from reading around, but that could be inaccurate during the holidays. I'd probably subscribe to kayak and get email alerts to follow the price trends each day and grab flights when I think it's the lowest. Prices have been ungodly high lately.
