A couple of random questions…..

Hi everyone! This is our first time staying at Swan and Dolphin. My sister has asked if there is a microwave available anywhere in the resort for general use. I’d like to know how the buses are to Disney Springs - how often, how late… thanks in advance!

We stayed at the Swan and I vaguely recall there being a microwave in the ice room. We didn’t use it, so I never looked inside… I can’t vouch for the cleanliness, condition, or functionality.

The buses for Disney Springs don't drop off the same place as the Disney buses. I would walk to the Boardwalk and use their bus, or call a minnie van.

Also as a reminder Lyfts/Ubers also won’t drop off where the Disney buses go. The one time I did it with DD we ended up walking what seemed like FOREVER to get to the main entrance. Definitely worth paying up for a Minnie Van in that case.

The buses for Disney Springs don't drop off the same place as the Disney buses. I would walk to the Boardwalk and use their bus, or call a minnie van.

Also as a reminder Lyfts/Ubers also won’t drop off where the Disney buses go. The one time I did it with DD we ended up walking what seemed like FOREVER to get to the main entrance. Definitely worth paying up for a Minnie Van in that case.

I took a Minnie Van to and from Disney Springs. Drop off and pick up were both in the very chaotic lot at the far end with the Ubers, Lyfts and non-Disney buses. Has that changed?

Minnie Vans drop off where the resort buses do. The stop is the closest to the walkway into Springs.

You can select where you want MV to drop off/pick up at DS. Either side of DS or the bus loop, been like that the whole time they’ve operated.

There must have been something unusual happening that day because the pick up and drop off locations were not optional for DS. West side was it, and it was very busy with a long line for our driver to even get into the lot. It also wasn't convenient so we never used a Minnie Van for DS again even though we use them everywhere else on property as well as to and from the airport. Now that I know this we will give it another try for DS.

Definitely a microwave in the ice room by the elevators. Can't remember now if every floor has one or if it's every other floor but I've used them a few times. I'm referencing Swan with my experience.

Next time you should see this in the app. I noticed going to DS it only offered bus loop and marketplace but the drivers often ask where I’m going to make sure they’re dropping off at the best spot for me so I suspect they can switch DS drop offs at passenger’s request without much issue.
