between my oldest (Will, almost 14) and youngest (Finn, 4) in the car this evening:

Finn: I'm going to steal Paige away from you when I grow up.

Will (completely serious, I guess he forgot he was talking to a 4 year old ): You do and I'll take you down.

Finn: We'll see about that, brother! (Pause) I'm going to be an army man and you can be my special sidekick.

Will: Sidekick?! If anything, you'll be my sidekick!

Dh and I were up front cracking up. The funniest part was Will was so serious. Oh, and Paige is Will's girlfriend.
