A clean Disney Debate!

ok so they arent good role models..i dont care!!! i love them...the stories werent made to be good role models...they were made to teach lessons
i.e-little red riding hood(i know its not disney but it has the same concept) to teach girls to not watch out for strangers. snow white teaches to not be so gulliable...cinderella teaches never give up.
so they teach lessons..do i like them..yes..I love the sense of finding true love and my prince finding me. am I a hopeless romantic..heck yeah..am i ashamed of it..no..i was raised on disney movies and thats how i am.
do i think that they need more current women? yes..but dont forget..that would involved making me a story from strach...which is hard to do...thats why most movies are stories.
ok a really funny site yall need to visit!!! its has 2 stories on it....the princess convention..it had me dieing laughing for hours!!

I agree with WDWFanatic.
I'm finding it hard to keep this debate up, because I love them all really .
But do we really need good female role models shoved down our throats constantly? Do Disney films really effect girl's attitudes? I was brought up watching Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, and I don't think it effected me.
Am I the only who's noticed that as each Disney film comes out, the heroine's bra size seems to increase? What kind of impression are these unrealistic women giving the children of today?

At least they know their own minds and don't rely on men to do everything for them. However, I do agree that maybe Disney should support the idea that there are people of all shapes and sizes in this world and that someone that is a little over weight or a little underweight etc. isn't any less beautiful than women with 'perfect' bodies.

Ok, I'll take ya'lls points,but I still think that Disney movies that have real people have more magic. I measn if you've got a real woman playing the role then you know that is possible for a perosn to have her size waist or bra size. But with a cartoon anything is possible, and that gives off a since that the princess must be a certian size.
