A Christmas Carol: Final Poster + TRAILER!

LOVED IT!

I am the Queen of A Christmas Carol. This looks terrific. Of course, I see a BIG compare and contrast paper in my students' future, but it looks like fun.

Have you seen this new Japanese trailer? Most of it is in English and you got to see a ton more footage. I think with the technology, you can do things that just weren't possible in any other adaptation (is that a good thesis ;) )

Nice idea, Dis'er. Now, can you support it with details and examples? :rotfl:

In other ACC news, I picked up the novelization of the movie at my son's school book fair. It's published in a rather mediocre quality paperback edition by Disney Press. But what did I expect for 4 bucks?

If the novelization is true to the screenplay, which Robert Zemeckis wrote, then I have a very good feeling. Without creating a spoiler alert, the only section they seem to have really altered is Stave Four, the part with the ghost of the future.

We're planning to take my seventh graders to see it in the theater just before vacation in December. I have high hopes.

We saw the 3D preview at a movie over the weekend and the animation is AMAZING!!!!!! I can't wait to see this one.

We are going to be in Disney when this opens. does anyone know if they are doing any special promotion in the parks? (Would love to see Jim Carrey!)
