A Chicago pre meet pre meet!!!! *pictures*

<p><b>Tonight we are having a DIS meet pre-meet at Gino's East Pizza. 
Should be 25-30 or so folks stopping by.  Tomorrow we have the Lion
King/Dave's Rib's DIS meet.  Should be 25-35 DIS'er coming I think.  A
couple of the longer distance travelers, from Kentucky, Shep/Believe and their
two daughters, Mandy and Cassie, and from Ohio, Helenabear and Coqui, drove in
about noon or so.  None of them had ever had Chicago's beef and sausage, so
I thought that might be a good place to get the Chicago theme going.  I
think they agree.  I am just home for a bit now before heading out for
pizza!!!!!</b></p>

<p><b>While we were there, a police drama was unfolding at the nearby intersection
(where cars are beyond Amanda).  I called Vince on my cell and asked him
what was going on (his department was there) and he said a guy was roaming the
neighborhood with a gun.  After it was over, two SWAT guys came in for a
beef too.</b></p>

Nice pictures Dan! That was a great way to start our time in the Chicago area... especially after that drive we had! Glad you were able to meet up with us there. It was great food, great time and I'd love to go back again soon!
