~~ A Celebration of Life-long friendship ~~ Sew Sweet 16 ~~ Now N' Thens 3/11

Well hi there friend!

Okay, so your Dis update, LOVE!! Donald seeing you decked out in your Donald gear is so AWESOME!! I bet it was one of your best times of your trip! SQUEE! So worth all the hard work getting those customs together!

Loved reading about your Thanksgiving/Black Friday! I do BF every year, sadly it isn't what it used to be, and now its basically Black Thursday, but I still have so much fun getting out every year!

Awwww, love that Gus brought flowers! Too cute! <3

Been gone for awhile, but I'm all caught up!

Donald crazy in love with your outfit is so cute!!!

Taking a time out from decorating to catch up. How sweet of Gus to give Allie flowers. They make an adorable couple.
We are getting more snow/ice this evening into morning. Not happy that my daughter has to work, so in a bit I have to go get her in the truck. Didn't want her driving her car.
Like your idea for the NYR, simple yet obtainable.
Everyone have a wonderful day!!

So sweet of GUS!!! Yes A better be a better girlfriend! No presents!!
Just kidding Gus is a lucky guy for having Allison as a girlfriend and better thank his lucky stars!

If i see-smell Turkey i might lose it.
i need to look up Turkey soup..

Hahaha... Yes, she needs to do something for him... She has some great ideas for Christmas. I agree - they are both a good fit for eachother, they seem to have a good balance. :thumbsup2

Hehehe... Josh always does turkey soup, and to be honest - I don't like it much, and neither do the girls. So, last night I did something different, I found this recipe: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Thanksgiving-Leftover-Casserole/Detail.aspx And it was pretty good. I made myself a different version, using sweet potatoes instead of regular potatoes... And for the gravy - I didn't have any evaporated milk, so I used a mix of 2% and heavy whipping cream. I did try a bite of theirs and I really liked it a lot, mine is very good too. This recipe is a keeper. :thumbsup2

I have missed keeping up with you over here! I've been swamped with work and Thanksgiving and getting ready for Christmas but I miss knowing what's going on in your world when I don't have the time to swing by.

Will you share your make ahead mashed potato recipe? Mashed potatoes are usually my Thanksgiving responsibility and I'd love to not be making them the morning of each year.

I got my bag in the mail yesterday! I love it! That was some fast shipping from Minnesota. Now I need to see when I can talk DH into another day trip so we can take Anna to the parks :goodvibes I think it will have to be after Christmas though - we are busy this month! This Saturday, Peyton has her first 5K - and she just told me today she wants me to run it with her : I am not in shape to run a 5K but I think she still does a lot of walking so hopefully I can keep up with her. My fear is that I will slow her down. Sunday we are having a Christmas celebration with my parents, since my dad leaves on the 10th and won't be back until late January. One of the following 2 weekends we will be heading down to the new American Girl store in Orlando so the girls can pick out their Christmas dolls. DH also read about a train ride at the Okefenokee swamp to see Christmas lights that we may end up doing. I also have no Christmas presents wrapped yet and I still need to tweak our Christmas decorations.

I am still sticking with yoga and still enjoying it. This is huge for me as I have never found an exercise program I enjoyed before which will hopefully help me to stick to it.

I hope you have a great day!

Hi Jennifer! I've missed seeing you around too. I am glad to hear you are well.

I will type up my make-ahead mashed potato recipe for you today... It's really good.

So glad you got your bag - I felt horrible when I went up to my sewing room on Saturday morning, and there it sat. :confused3 I hope you get to take a trip with it soon and you get to use it lots! It was such a fun set to make!

It sounds to me like you have a TON of fun stuff planned for the holiday season! I sure miss the AG stage in our house - some of the most special Christamases we have ever had... There is nothing better for a girl (or a mom) than a new doll under the tree. Enjoy these days - they go by so quickly!

So happy to hear you are sticking with yoga and loving it! A friend of mine mentioned last night, she had been doing P90X, and thought of me - she said I would love it. Thankfully, it's a DVD set that Josh had bought years ago, and rarely used - so it's something we have and I can do. I am debating on busting it out to see if I like it or not... Even if I can fit it into my schedule once a week - it might be a fun one to do. :thumbsup2 We'll see... I don't have a DVD player in my office, where I work out, all of my workout stuff is just loaded on to the computer... So, I will have to see if it's on here or not, and if it isn't, I'll have to load it (well, I'll have to find it first... :headache:)

Thank you Jennifer - the same to you! :thumbsup2

Well hello there Terri!!!! I've missed you!!! Glad to see you back on the Dis... So glad we are FB friends, so I know you and the girls are still causing trouble in Tx. :rotfl2:

Yes - my Donald days are always my favorite days! I just love the color combo, and everything about it! I am not sure there is anything I could do to make it better? LOL I have everything I could ever add to my body as an accessory... Except maybe socks? LOL

I know - I miss BF the way it used to be, even though I never shopped, I always worked that opening shift and it was always so much fun! I think retailers need to go back to that - I think they make the same amount of $$ no matter when they open, as people only have so much $$ to spend. Ya know?

Yes - that was so sweet of him... Alli was so excited! It was just so adorable!

Been gone for awhile, but I'm all caught up!

Donald crazy in love with your outfit is so cute!!!

Hey Lori!!! Glad to see you back! Thanks for taking the time to catch up. :thumbsup2

Yah - it was a lot of fun! Somtimes Donald is hit or miss... this time it was a sure hit! Loved every moment!

Taking a time out from decorating to catch up. How sweet of Gus to give Allie flowers. They make an adorable couple.

Thanks for taking the time to catch up. :)

Yes, I think so too... They are a nice balance for eachother - I think.

Yikes, stay safe! I hate storms like that, I am always a mess... it will not be any better when the girls start to drive. Sigh.

Thanks... I just don't want my NYR to be "lose 10 lbs" or whatever, because that's not what I really want, ya know... Losing 10 lbs doesn't necessarily mean I will get smaller or I will look any better... But working on my body compostion, well, that will guarantee I will look better... Or at least, I can kick some butt if someone says otherwise. :rotfl2:

I hope you have a great day too!

**********************************************************

This is going to be a short and boring update today...

I did my heavy lifting right away...

Then I quilted my next custom order...

Had lunch of leftover Thanksgiving numminess...

Then I turned on my heated blanket up to "9" and crawled in for a nice nap. :thumbsup2

Woke up, showered, got ready...

V came home.

Made dinner (recipe posted above in my reply to Mo)...

Played on my tablet.

Josh went to town to get Alli from work...

Went to bed.

Today... I will work out right away this morning...

Then I will be appliqueing all day.

I also plan to start on one of my auction custom orders from October that's due by Christmas.

Maybe another nap? LOL I just love having an electric blanket on my bed.

Our last night of Thanksgiving leftovers is tonight. :thumbsup2

Have a great day everyone! Prayers and good thoughts go out to all of you! :grouphug:

Hi.

I think it's time you get a more adventurous life.

:lmao:

Love ya.....

MEAN IT!

Nothing much to report on today but I wanted to make sure I stopped by to say hi.

I need a Christmas to do list - I keep thinking of random small things that aren't any big deal but if I don't get organized, something is going to get missed!

Have an awesome day!

D, popping n to say hello.

I'm glad you had a good Thanksgiving.

How sweet of Gus to bring A flowers...she looks very happy.

Reading a bit more before work this morning.

How very cool that you were in the ME line with DISers who had your bags. What a coincidence. I love the group shot. It's awesome and the bags are adorable.

I also love this picture of you and the girls. Your bag in this picture is SUPER cute! So matchy matchy with your outfit. Love it!

Love your room and location at POFQ. What a great resort!

Ooops - pasted the wrong picture. I meant this one (not that the other picture of the girls isn't adorable as well)

Hahaha... I love that! :wizard: Well, it could certainly be less boring these days... I have an "exciting" day planned today though, and even more excitement tomorrow.

Hi Jennifer - thanks for stopping by!

Hehehe... We are having the WORST time with Christmas this year... Lots n' lost n' lots of ideas for Allison, and not a thing for V. :confused3 She already has everything we'd consider for a big gift (phone, ipod, ipad, TV, DVD player...) We are totally stumped. I told Josh last night, we should get her a new North Face down jacket - her zipper is totally broken (and not fixable) - but she has a nice warm Carhartt jacket already, so she doesn't really *need* a new down one. We are running out of time and we need to come up with something. I guess, if all else fails - we'll get her a Visa Gift Card again, she seemed to enjoy that last year.

I hope you have an awesome day too!

D, popping n to say hello.

Hi Kathy!!! It's wonderful to see you, thanks for stopping by.

I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

Yes, that was so exciting for me, seriously! I felt famous for about 5 minutes, and it was awesome! :wizard:

Yah - our room location wasn't that bad, it wasn't as nice as our favorite 6220, but it wasn't horrible either. We do love FQ, it's our favorite place to stay, for sure.

Ooops - pasted the wrong picture. I meant this one (not that the other picture of the girls isn't adorable as well)

th_PhotoPass_Visiting_Magic_Kingdom_7046865881.jpg

Hahaha... THanks! I worked really hard putting that outfit together - it took me nearly a year. I got really lucky with the color of the tank top, I'd found it last year at Target on clearance... The red shorts were hard to find too - I didn't find those until right before we left on our trip. All because I'd bought that headband from Jennifer - it's craziness really - LOL... But I love it - dressing up is half the fun of being in Disney, IMO. I cannot wait to plan my customs for our next trip! :woohoo:

**********************************************************

I had a great day yesterday...

I worked out right away...

Then I went upstairs to work... I was able to cut out and stitch my applique for this week's custom order. Then I was able to start work on my auction order from October - I hope to be done with both of them today or tomorrow.

We had leftovers for dinner again last night...

Then we all hung out in the livingroom on our tablets/watching TV.

Today... It's a heavy lifting day for me... I've been trying really hard to up my weights a little more frequently. I also want to get the book "It Starts with Food" - because I think I want to do a Whole 30 very soon here - possibly before Christmas, but otherwise right after, I really want to jump start my losses again because I feel like I am stuck - but I've also started to allow a few more "snacks" into my diet that I shouldn't be having... So, I think this would be really helpful to me to refocus. I kind of went through the same thing last year at this time, and it was super helpful to me to do a refocus right during the holidays.

I will be working in my sewing room for most of the day today - hoping to make a big dent in both of my orders.

Allison has an appointment on the other side of the Metro, so I am picking her up from school and we will be gone until dinner time. That's my "excitement" for today.

Tomorrow... I am taking the day off... Super excited! My aunt and cousin are coming down to meet me at the MOA for our annual Christmas shopping trip. We always have a great time, and we go out for lunch... I am very much looking forward to this, because I don't get to see them often and we are close. Plus, I am hoping to find a few gifts for V - LOL.

I might try to squeeze out an update this morning, since I have the time. :wizard:

Have a wonderful day everyone! Prayers and good thoughts go out to all of you! :grouphug:

Spice of life you have there! :lmao:

What do you recommend for work out videos? No weight lifting- yet.

I left you with AK opening, and hoards of people running past the windows of Tusker House...

Yup - we were late! We MUST move and move NOW.

We settled up our bill and stopped for a bio break before we left...

We headed straight for Kiliminjaro Safari... The ride was almost walk on. While we were boarding, there was some confusion - the CM telling us where to go, told us to board the vehicle, but there was a family there already, we tried to board, and I told the people to move over more and make room... Well, they totally yelled at me and said "If you don't recognize the people next to you, obviously you are in the wrong vehicle!" Everyone turned to look at us, and it was really embarassing. Excuse me, but this is Disney - and they squish strangers together all the time. So, don't make me look like an idiot... Grrr... So, we got off the vehicle and waited for the next one.

Finally... Our vehicle came... And we boarded the proper vehicle.

(I love this first picture of the girls)

The entire time we were on KS, I was looking at the time... Our FP for EE was from 9-10am, we didn't board KS until 9:30... It's a 20 min ride for sure... Yah - we didn't get off until 9:55...

Guess what that means?

RUN, GIRLS, RUN!!!!!!!! (said in my best Forrest Gump voice)

I told the girls, just RUN to EE... Don't stop at Go! Don't collect $200... Just GO!

So, they took off straight out of KS, and they ran.

My girls led the group - and they were not even visible when I rounded the corner in Africa... I followed behind - And I was RUNNING people!!! Me... Running!!! Do you believe it???? :woohoo: I ran almost the entire time between KS and EE... I was so proud of myself. Sadly... BFF couldn't run at all, and I was so worried she would lose her FP for EE.

Well, the girls and I made it - it was about 7 minutes after our FP time expired, but the CM was nice enough to let us in. She told us to wait in the line for BFF, so there we waited...

While we were waiting... OK this is just too funny... My girls get this a lot when we are in Disney - this has happened to them a few times, so they are used to it... A random stranger comes up to them and asks them "Is D~ your mom?" LOL So, as I am walking up to the girls waiting for me in the FP line, V is introducing me to Cindy (NolaCindy)... :rotfl2: It was awesome! We hugged and said hello, then she agreed to wait at the EE entrance for us to come back out after we ride. :woohoo: A few minutes later, BFF walked up - totally out of breath and a little annoyed that we left her in the dust... :rolleyes1

So, we made it to our EE FP - just barely!

BFF had never ridden EE... At the beginning of the ride, I offered to hold her hand if she got scared... As you can see from the below photo - she had me in a death grip. I "forgot" to tell her about the backwards part... That was probably really mean of me, but I knew she wouldn't ride if she knew, and EE is probably the BEST coaster in all of Disney - perhaps the world. Everyone must ride it once.

wd013wdw2014235112294475_7045482967_18.jpeg

She was NOT happy with me, not at all. Not only did I make her run - but I didn't tell her that the track was broken, nor did I tell her about the backwards part... :scared: I cannot even repeat her words to me as she was screaming backwards down the track... They are not suitable to repeat.

Once we were done riding... We met back up with Cindy... We decided to ride EE again with her, BFF and O opted to sit this one out. :confused3

wd014wdw2014235112311802_7045483462_18.jpeg

We all met up again after, and we took our obligatory Dismeet picture...

20140823_101639.jpg

Cindy... It was so much fun meeting you and riding EE with you! Thank you so much for coming out to AK to meet up with us! It was a lot of fun! :lovestruc

We went our separate ways...

It was time for our KRR FP... Alli wasn't feeling well - it was already very hot out. She decided to sit KRR out. The rest of us rode - me with a poncho... NO WAY did I want to be sopping wet for the entire day... Lucky I did too, since V & I were the ones to get it the worst.

When we came out, we met up with Alli again.

We took a few Photopass pictures with EE in the background...

We decided to try something we've never done before... We were all hot, and V had put her "cranky cap" on - so you all know what that means... :scared:

Yeah!!!!! I loved meeting you and the girls and can't wait for you to come back down, just not in August :lmao:. OMG that day was hot and sweaty. All of the girls and BFF were so sweet to a complete stranger!

I didn't know guys still bought flowers for girls, that was so sweet of Gus:hug:

Glad you had a great Thanksgiving. Your sweet potato casserole sounds fantastic. We had a very, very quiet Thanksgiving, Gerald went to work at 10, didn't get off till 7. Just made a ham and dressing.

Have I missed something? Does V still have Lotti? She hasn't made it into a trip report lately.

The cruise, I thought her pictures turned out great! Just call me a proud aunt, she has really become a beautiful young woman. We had a great time and I would love to be able to cruise again with my sister and niece. There is an 8 year gap between my sister and I and we are finally at a time were we really enjoy being together. There was drama, groom lost his wedding band at Castaway Cay, Morgan was not happy, and they actually found it! I'm not used to traveling with a large group, especially ones that most are not Disney minded. It was fun though and we have lots of great memories!

You know...I have had some of my worst CM experiences at the safari. CMs and guests.....not sure what it is about that ride, but they need to figure out how to bring the magic back there.

Awww...glad you got to ride with Cindy. How cool! You are a celebrity :thumbsup2

Your life is about as thrilling as mine. I go to work and come home and that's about it. Yesterday I went over my mom's and did her shopping.
EE is one of my favorite rides. I will confess that the first time I rode it I had my eyes closed for part of it.
I had to laugh at that comment from that family. I often ride with strangers when I'm in the parks by myself. That's what happens at Disney, you ride with strangers.
Today's another thrilling day at work. One good thing is that since I work Thanksgiving and Black Friday I get an extra 25% off one total purchase. I'm taking the Ps4 I have in layaway out and buying it. It's my daughter and her husband's Christmas present.
Have a great day.

Just wanted to remind you about your make ahead mashed potato recipe.

I went to yoga again last night, I'm still really loving it but I'm starting to worry about the time committment. The studio is about a 20 minute drive from my house, classes are 1 hour and 15 minutes long so every time I take a class I am gone for 2 hours. I've been doing the Monday and Wednesday classes and trying to do either Saturday or Sunday or both depending on what we have going on over the weekend but I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the burden this is putting on DH. Maybe I can find a DVD I like and get some of my yoga in at home.

I think I forgot to mention, on Monday Peyton decided that she wants me to run her 5k with her (she is in an after school running program 2 days a week). I had debated about signing up for it at the beginning of the season - I think I'd like to be a runner but it never pans out for more than 3 weeks of the couch to 5K program :) - but I decided to let this be Peyton's thing, until she asked me to join her on Monday. Just one problem - her 5K is this Saturday. So I will be running that with her with zero prep and I am totally not a runner. I just hope I can keep up with her, I'd hate to be slowing her down. Wish me luck and please say a prayer Saturday morning.

Hope you have a great and very exciting day!

Spice of life you have there!

What do you recommend for work out videos? No weight lifting- yet.

THanks...

Well, I started off with the Walk Away the Pounds DVDs by Leslie Sansone... Here's the link to the ones I like best on Ebay - I am sure you can find them cheaper there though, but I think Ebay is one of the only places to get them, because they are oop. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Walk-Away-T...?pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item2eda3079d8 Leslie has several different versions - but this set is my favorite... The 1 mile is my go-to on my "lazy days" still - I just keep adding heavier weights to make it challenging for me. But when I first started, I didn't use any weights at all.

Yeah!!!!! I loved meeting you and the girls and can't wait for you to come back down, just not in August. OMG that day was hot and sweaty. All of the girls and BFF were so sweet to a complete stranger!

Yah - that day was pretty nasty and gross... If I remember correctly - there was one more really super hot day, then it started to "cool off" for us... Cooling off being relative, of course. LOL

It was super fun meeting you! I was so happy to have had the chance!

Yes, I guess they do. LOL Part of it is that Gus delivers flowers for a flower shop as a side job occasionally (during their busy seasons/holidays) - so he has been working there a little bit lately. It was very sweet of him, no doubt.

It sounds like you had a nice Thanksgiving, even though Gerald had to work.

Yes, Lottie is still here... She doesn't come down too much anymore - she isn't very social. :( She bit me once this summer - HARD - like chomped down on my finger and shook her head hard... It was very painful. Ever since then, I am a bit shy about holding her. She still comes down to watch movies with us, n' stuff - but we haven't taken pictures of her in ages. We need to do that more.

It's so hard traveling in big groups like that, especially if they aren't Disney lovers. I am glad you had a good trip though.

You know...I have had some of my worst CM experiences at the safari. CMs and guests.....not sure what it is about that ride, but they need to figure out how to bring the magic back there.

Awww...glad you got to ride with Cindy. How cool! You are a celebrity

That is sad... We usually don't have a problem on the Safari - but this was really mortifying.

Yes!!! It was so wonderful to ride with Cindy - even better that we have pictures to prove it. :woohoo:

Hehehe... Well, I'd rather have a "thrilling" life than a "really thrilling" life.

I love EE, but I cannot look down when we are going backwards... If you look down, you can see bits of the track below you - and it's REALLY FAR DOWN... I am afraid of heights, so it scares the crap out of me. If I just look ahead as we are going backwards - it's fine.

I know - LOL - that's what I thought too. People can be so... >insert word of choice here< LOL

HOw awesome about your extra 25%, that is super cool! Great choice of items to buy with that! I'd be getting groceries too.

I Hope you had a great day, as well.

Awww crap... I forgot to post it.

Make Ahead Mashed Potatoes

10 large potatoes
1 C Sour Cream
1 Pkg (8 ox) Cream Cheese
6 TBSP Butter
2 TBSP Dried minced onion
½-1 Tsp Salt
Paprika

Boil potatoes, mash (must mash with potato masher – mixer does NOT work), add sour cream, cream cheese + 4 Tbsp. butter, onion and salt, stir until smooth. Spread in greased 9x13 pan, melt remaining butter and drizzle over potatoes. Sprinkle paprika over potatoes. Refrigerate covered or bake covered at 350° for 40 min. If refrigerated, let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes before baking.

Yes, that is a HUGE time commitment. That is one thing I seriously consider when I am starting a new program... I know I've blogged about it before - but if anything I do is more than 30-45 minutes, I won't touch it. I am such a procrastinator, I will put anything off indefinitely if it takes too long for me to do - that's just the way I am. So, I know I wouldn't be able to do that. I hope you are able to find something that's closer and more convenient for you.

Oh my gosh! GOod luck to Peyton! But wow - that is very ambitious of you, as well. I know there is no way I could go out and run a 5k now - even though I am in the best shape of my life, I just wouldn't have the stamina. I am sure I could do a walk/run combo though. Good luck to both of you - go slow to prevent injury... And I think it would be OK for Peyton to run a little bit ahead of you, if necessary? I will be praying for a successful run for both of you! Good luck!

I had a great day yesterday... I am almost finished with both bags! Phew!

I also had a great heavy lifting work out... I did something I am very proud of, and have been working towards for almost 3 years... I finally did 3 sets of 8 reps of real, honest to God, push-ups on my TOES! I was super excited! To celebrate, I took a picture of my "guns" and posted it on Facebook... Pretty proud of these - lots of hard work!

I picked Alli up at school when she got off, and took her straight to her dermatologist appointment. It's her same Dr. she has always had, but she switched offices, and now she is 30 miles in the opposite direction - but we love her, so we had to follow her. :lovestruc Sadly - she was running way behind yesterday, so she didn't even see us until 45 minutes after our appointment time - that was super annoying, but we were lucky we didn't have anywhere to be.

Afterwards, we headed home. We texted Josh to tell him we were hungry for Chinese... He texted back that he was having his tire repaired. Uh-oh. He was supposed to pick V up at school yesterday... So, I tried to call him - no answer. I called V, Josh hadn't picked her up yet... So, I detoured and headed into town to get her... It was a mess... At the end of it all - I went about 40 miles out of my way and drove a "U" shape, I could have driven straight there from Alli's appointment. Oh well.

We grabbed Chipotle for dinner, it was delicious. I love that I can eat there now. I didn't know this, but most of their food comes from organic sources - how awesome is that? At least our local one is that way - they have it advertised. :woohoo:

Josh had just gotten home when we arrived, and he was unloading our tree... He happened to pick one up on the way home. We usually go cut our own, but the last few years - the tree farm where we cut them has been pretty sparse... We thought we'd give it a few years to "come back". So, Josh set up our tree last night... We'll probably decorate it tomorrow.

Today is my fun day... I get to go shopping with my aunt and cousin at the MOA - I am very excited!!! I can't wait to see them and spend the day with them! Not sure what I am shopping for... I hope to find something great for V. :thumbsup2 And I could use a few more things for Josh too.

I hope you all have a wonderful day! Prayers and good thoughts go out to all of you!

Thanks for the recipe! I may give it a try for Christmas - I'm not exactly sure what we are doing for Christmas just yet. We'll either be going to my mom's or hosting, I'll see what everyone wants to do when we get together this weekend.

I am really loving yoga but I worry that the time I am putting into it is just too much time away from the family. I'm going to keep up with it for now, but I eventually may go to just 1 or 2 classes a week if I can find a way to supplement at home. I'll keep you posted as I figure this out.

So, I've been trying to pretend we aren't doing the 5K tomorrow - going the denial route. There is no way I'll be able to run 5K, I know I can walk it no problem so I'll just do a walk/run combo and do my best to keep up with Peyton. I'm sure I'll post on Facebook tomorrow about how it goes.

Enjoy your day! Someday I will see the MOA and while I'm there, I'll visit with you too!

Fun update, D.

You must have hit some animals in the way that your safari took longer than usual.

If you had done that to me on EE, I would not have been your BFF anymore. :lmao: I am so DONE with that ride.

How fun that you got to meet Cindy and ride again with her.

Sorry Alli wasn't feeling up to Kali. We ended up not using our FP+ for it in June and Mark really doesn't like riding it.

Great photopass pictures.

You should try it for Christmas... I know many people here have made it - and they swear by it. It's a very good dish.

I hope you are able to suppliment your yoga at home, or find a way to make it work with your family time, so it doesn't feel like a sacrafice.

Good luck with the 5k today! I'll be thinking of you and sending Pixie Dust your way!

I hope you do come to the MOA some day! I'd love to meet up if you do. ::yes::

Hahaha... Ok - I confess, I was just guessing what time we got out of TH... But I did note the time we got off of the Safari - so I know that's right. LOL

LOL - Yah - BFF had a right to be mad at me... I wasn't a very nice friend. But it was for her own good - I promise. :lovestruc

Yah - that was super cool!!! I was so excited that she was able to meet up with me.

Yah - I love Kali, but I hate getting wet. So, it's a definite love/hate relationship.

Thanks!

I had a great day at the MOA yesterday!

I think I am done shopping for the girls now. :thumbsup2 I picked up a couple things for me - nothing major... A shirt, some socks. ::yes::

It was so fun to see my cousin and aunt... One of my other aunts joined us for lunch at Bubba Gump. Love that place. As usual, I ordered the salmon skillet - w/o the quinoa and an extra side of veggies - dry and no seasoning. I added butter and salt/pepper on my own - it was delicious!::yes::

We did a bit more shopping, and I was at the girls' school in time to pick them up when it was over.

Did a little shopping at Target and took Alli to work.

Came home, watched lots of Season 4 Downton Abbey - just to refamiliarize ourselves because Season 5 starts at the beginning of Jan. I skipped the Anna episode though - I hate that one.

Fell asleep.

Gus brought Alli home... We all chatted for a while.

I went to bed.

Josh came home from Matt's game.

And here I am.

Today... We are decorating the tree.

Allison works tonight. Gus is picking her up.

Josh's aunt and uncle and another set are meeting us for dinner, then we are all going to Matt's game. Not sure if I am in the mood to go yet or not? We'll see.

I hope you all have a wonderful day. Prayers and good thoughts to all of you! :grouphug:

D~ <--- Who is considering discontinuing her daily updates... I only have a few readers left, so I am starting to think I am boring you all. :confused3
