Just got back from a great week at WDW. One of our best trips ever. Here's a brief summary.

SW from Buffalo~Once again easy as pie, on time and friendly. No wait to check in for our 7am flight but a long wait at security however we could go through a seperate line with the stroller. The flight was not full and only about 5 or 6 families were preboarding so we were able to bring DSs carseat on board (he is only 14 months).

AS Movies~We stayed here to take advantage of Free Dining the few days before Labour Day. It was alright. We were in 101 Dalmations and had a great location but we have been so spoiled by DVC villas the rooms seemed tiny and outdated. Like it needed a good sprucing up. Also it just doesn't seem to have much "atmosphere" but it wasn't crowded and DS loved the splash pad at the Fantasia pool.

BWV~Ahhh, back to DVC. The villa seemed enormous after ASMO but we were way at the end of the infamous long hallways. We love the Epcot area but will return to BCV before BWV again. BWV was really nice but I just couldn't put my finger on it. It has a weird layout and I spoke to many clueless CMs which was really annoying but our room was quiet and the main pool was practically deserted after the long weekend.

PnP Party~We went to the party on Mon the 3rd and had a ball. We did dinner at Liberty Tree at 4:30 and it was not crowded at all. Most of the characters came around twice. We went to see Capt Jack right at 6:30 and only waited about 20min and he spent a lot of time with each family. All the rides were walkons and the parade and fireworks were great.

Food
Chefs de France~Delicious meal, great service.

Boma~One of the best meals of the trip. The crab soup and Prime Rib were my favourites.

Kona Cafe (breakfast) we waited about 20min since we didn't have an ADR and service was really quick. DH had the famous Tonga Toast and I had a shrimp omlette.

Chef Mickey's~Alright. Noisy and crowded but not bad

Biergarten~DS LOVED the polka band which was pretty funny and a really nice selection at the buffet. We called at 6:45 and got a 7:30ADR.

Coming home we took ME and it only picked up 4 families so it was a speedy ride to the airport. Our SW flight was only 50% full so lots of room to spread out. The airport was a ghost town, the Skycaps were begging to take our luggage.

All in all a GREAT trip and can't wait for the next one!

Wow - what days did you fly on? We flew on Saturdays (BUF/MCO) and both SW flights were full. There were people looking for their seats and they made an announcement for lap children to be placed on laps!

Thanks for the report.

Wed the 30th and last night (the 5th) The week after Labour Day is one of the slowest of the entire year.

Hopefully it stays that way for a few weeks.

We are going Oct 4-11 - southwest from buffalo to orlando!

Congrats on your great trip!

I assume you are from Toronto. When did you go to BUF? In the mid-night or stay in BUF hotel for one night? If you drive in mid-night, what time did you leave your home? How long did it take to go through the custom?

Thanks for report.

We acutally live in Burlington but stayed over at my ILs in Port Colborne the night before. We left their house at about 5am and were at the airport around 5:45 I believe. There were only 2 cars ahead of us at US Customs so it was about a 5 minute wait.

We also loved PnP- makes the rides so much more fun!

Just wanted to say that the pic of your pirate is too precious!pirate:
