I am wishing and hoping for a much better 2005 than 2004 has been to most of us.
Losing my dad in March was far more than I wanted to experience. then my getting sick, along with everything that has been going on with the world. This tragedy with the Tsunami is just so hard to fathom. I see that even with my problems I have it so much easier than so many.
I pray that every day of 2005 is better than your best day in 2004.

Peggie

Now, although Caroline has been updating you I will try and be brief with my update.
I was admitted to the hospital again on Monday as you all know. My counts went down to .5 this time but with antibiotics they are up to 2.8 now. I was discharged at 10 am, but finally got home from the hospital at around 4 pm today.
Richie began having chest pains on Sunday night but even with my encouraging he refused to go to the ER. He had another episode of pain on Tuesday evening but I was not with him so he lied down and waited it out. He did go to the VA on Wednesday after another bout of pain and told them about the pain in his chest and both arms. The did no exam, just wrote himi scripts for Percocet and Morphine. (Can we all say law suit?)
He was on his way to visit me last night when the chest pain started again. I told him to go to the ER for an EKG. They admitted him after seeing his cardiac enzymes were out of wack. At 6 am this morning he had another heart attack and they did an angioplasty at around 11 am. He had one main artery that was 100% blocked. The DR told me that if he had waited any longer he would have had a massive coronary and would not be with us any longer.
He is in MICU and will probably be in the hospital for at least 4 days. So, I am better but I will be visiting him for the next few days.
Thanks for everyone that sent wishes (again) and thanks for listening to me whine.

Peggie, I certainly hope 2005 is a much better year for you. Thank you for posting as I was beginning to wonder & worry about you. How does that saying go - if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all? Well, you must feel like that sometimes, but you still come across here as a positive person. Have a good stiff drink tonight - you need it!!

Glad to hear you are doing better and so sorry about Richie!!

The good news is, they caught it in time for him. God is watching over you both.

Here's to a better 2005 for alll of you!

Peggie,

You of all people should be able allowed to whine and you never do. You are always in my prayers and now Ritchie is too. I wish for you a truly happy and healthy 2005.

With Love and Pixie Dust,
Joanne
