Well, he had makeup but... it didnt really help from the crash he was in.

yeah i bet he was a little distorted. We got to place cards and notes in his coffin though.

Update from the 29th

-removed- was one of the doctor's performing the operation on Aaron's face. She stated that the Ortho doctors were right, that Aaron does really have strong bones. They are done working on Aarons' face and they are now putting the screw in his right leg were he broke his femur. This way he will not have to be put under again. The only bad news is that he has Brad Pitt cheek bones and a George Clooney chin line....so watch out boys and girls, he is really going to be better looking. So when all is said and done, today is really a Great Day. Keep sending him well wishes, because they really do help. God bless each and every one of you.

I just found out that it says time on the top of post so I can copy it, Lol.

Aaron's surgery went well. The doctors and nurses stated that the best medicine is rest. I will keep you updated as to his progress via this website. I will let everyone know when Aaron can receive visitors. Keep sending your well wishes and we will read them to him daily. -removed want to thank you all for your continued support and prayers. May God bless all of you and your familes.

Today Aaron had visits from the Occupational and Physical Therapists. They both had to assess his mobility and range. They will trade off days between the both therapists to keep him limber. Aaron is resting very well today and now he needs time on his side. His blood pressure was a little high so they want him kept as quiet as possible for the near future. -removed- and especially Aaron would like everyone to take a moment to say a pray for the -removed-family and especially for -removed- God bless each and everyone of you.

Aaron was a little restless today. They had to put mittens on him that look like boxing gloves. He is now boxing bedside! When he didn't have the mittens on, he was able to try and pull his tubes out. He would even dig under the pillows over him to find them. Now he spends most of the day trying to get the mittens off, which the nurses stated "They give him a great workout". His blood pressure has gone down a bit, but his temperature is still up. The nurses stated that the temperature was good because it shows that he is fighting the infection. They also stated that after a 14 hour surgery, he is doing GREAT. He is fighting harder and harder every single day. Remember to say a prayer for the-removed-family and may God bless each and every one of you.

Today they tried to let Aaron breath on his own without the respirator. He is breathing 60% on his own which is a good sign. He is in quite a bit of pain, so when it gets too intense, his breathing is affected and they determined to leave the respirator in for a few more days. The swelling is down a little and he is moving his arms and legs. They still recommend that Aaron just rest and keep him as quiet as possible. The visitors will be limited for the next few days. They anticipate moving him to a different room when he is able to breath on his own. This is a GREAT sign!!!!!!!!! I -removed-will be setting up a schedule to help -removed-with any help they will need. By doing this, -removed- will know a week or two in advance of who will be helping with -removed-, household things, sitting with Aaron when they cannot be there etc. I will be giving my telephone number in the next day or so when I find out there needs and to all of those who wish to help, it would be greatly appreciated. His progress looks very GREAT! Thanks for all of the well wishes, -removed- will be reading them tonight while they stay with Aaron. God bless to all of you and your families.

I stopped to visit Aaron after the Bucks game tonight. While I was in the stands, I caught a t-shirt and plastic basketball to decorate Aarons room. He looked the most peaceful that I have seen since he arrived a week ago Friday. The swelling was down in his face and whole body. It was a comfort to me to see him resting so peacefully. It reminded me of Aaron before the accident. I'm just amazed of the progress he has made in just eight days. The positive energy coming from the prayers and well wishes is truly helping in Aaron's recovery. Keep sending the positive energy Aaron's way, because it truly is working. Thanks to everyone and may God Bless each and everyone of you.
