9am-6pm, is this enough time to do both parks?

If you have two park days, maybe you could line up early at the Studios one morning and make a beeline for the ride. The OP only has one day so she'll have to hit up HP first. Despicable Me will likely be pretty jammed later in her day.

We only have one park day, but are willing to ride FJ single rider. I certainly need to work on a one day plan. We spent 4 days at US/IoA last year, so we really got to do everything as much as we wanted. We have one ticket day left so we need to just hit the highlights. I'm not sure I want to sacrafice the morning standing in line for one ride. Maybe we need to save it for last.

For the OP, that extra hour in the evening is good news. We really enjoyed spending it in the Harry Potter area. So I'd start there, hop over to US, and then end my day back at IoA.

Oh yes, just one day. I somehow misread your post.

Single ride lines are great. We rode Spiderman this way and had virtually no wait while the standby was 45 minutes.

You should be able to get a lot of stuff done but probably not all.

I agree. You should be able to do most things. We ALWAYS do two parks in one day, always. Simply because i refuse to stay at universal for more than one day. A lot of the rides make me nauseous. And we always manage to do/see most things. Of course we skip a lot of stuff we're just not interested in.

You'll be fine.
