Is it a waste of time to keep checking with Radio Shack? I don't know if it's possible that they will get any more in their warehouse.

The clerk told me to come back every day and check. I just didn't want to waste my time if there is just no hope at all.

Call 1st - I called my store he put it in a "cart" I called back an hour later and paid for it over the phone - picked up my receipt then next day and picked up my HP TP *couldn't sign for it so I had it go to a nearby FedEx store* this past Saturday ~ this all started last Tuesday.

If anybody got cancelled with OfficeMax they are sending out emails.

All you need is your old order number.

If you are still interested in receiving your HP TouchPad 32GB for $149.99, please contact us by Friday, September 23, 2011 at 1-877-633-4236 and ask for extension 115-2030 to replace your order. Reference your original order number listed above. At that time we will need your credit card information to complete the order. These orders will only be filled as supplies last and only one per address/customer.

Are TP users still reading this thread? Should we start a new one for normal discussion such as that preware, OC and other stuff I posted and what apps we all like and stuff? Ive downloaded a few apps and would like to see what else you guys are downloading? just curious, what do u guys think?

of course like i said there, i did all my things by googling and using the other forums over at pre-central.net, i attached the links I used , please go by what they say as i just summarized what i did to my TP. Hope this helps and maybe that way we can start chatting over there about our TP's rather than hog the buying thread lol.

HP has placed ANOTHER pending on my card. Is this happening to anyone else? Every week they put a hold on my card for several days and then take it off. This has been going on since this "deal" was posted. They never ship anything and I can't find that I have an "order" in their system.

Same thing, pending charges post and then disappear. Did you get an email telling you that your order should ship 6 - 8 weeks? I think this will probably happen until (if) the TP actually ships. I am still not convinced it will.

I do have an order number. At one time I was able to pull up an order on their website, but have not been able to for several weeks. When I have tried to call I get the long holds etc. My cc suggested changing my card number since I guess they can keep putting "pending" holds for as long as they want. I just wondered if this was happening to anyone else.
