call your local store.. the ad's are printed in advance.. this announcement came out after the ad's were printed.. you are talking about hard copied ad's right? There is no harm in asking them...

Not sure if I'll actually get one, but I had one in my cart earlier and checkout finally worked for me. No confirmation email yet, but I got an order number on my receipt.

ugh! my local officemax is out of stock. they only had 3-4, and the price matchers got them yesterday.

I gave up at 2am last night my time and never got past my billing information on hp's site. Then I was away from my computer all morning while Best Buy sold theirs. Sigh. Oh well, I guess I'll just wait for them to start showing up on ebay.

My local Walmart has 12 of these! I have been working on the manager and as yet have not managed to get them to come down on price. GRRRR... I am going to go and check in the morning. I don't know why their online division would sell them at the lower price but the B&M stores wouldn't. *sigh* They are sold out online so you can't even order to pick up.

Oh and my CC has a hold on it in the exact amount of the purchase, but I got no email confirmation and my account at HP shows no order.

I went back on the site and found that I have a cart with 3 tablets in it.

Needless to say, it won't take me to checkout.

Any chance if I keep clicking that it will?

the link I did worked.. I sent the link to a friend and she got it to work.. I sent it to her and my sister.. she got to it before my sister and it worked

check the wal-mart online site.. they had them showing at the reduced price but not showing they were in or out of stock.. just showing the reduced price.. this was yesterday.. if it is still like that.. you can print it and bring that to them.. it is their store.. and it didn't say online only..

I don't think you should wait until the morning. Chances are someone will convince them to give them the lower price. Walmart marked them down yesterday and HP has officially clearanced them. I would try harder or try another manager. I would call the corporate office or ask them to.

He is the highest manager in right now and will not do it. I talked to him in person and twice on the phone. Another manager comes in tomorrow. I can't force him to lower the price.

My friend (who was to buy from me) just went into her shopping cart and it had her items from yesterday! She could not pull them up earlier or all day yesterday, but just got them showing now. She is as far as the billing screen! She is putting in her billing information now.. Whether or not it is going to work, we don't know.. if it does, she thinks it has 4 in there too.. she only wanted 2!!! This is crazy.. she is going for it anyway.. she knows between me and her, we can find someone who will want them... yes, I know.. you guys have first dibb's after my sister and her son.......... I just wonder if it will go thru..


UPDATED.... still loading with all her information.. she is using 2 laptops lol her Apple is the one who is loading, her HP is the one who is giving an error and she has to refresh... (she emailed herself the link to get it to the Apple)

How long did it take?

Apparently the one I did last night that I assumed did not go through, actually was the one that went through. So about 13 hours?

When I called my bank earlier they only had the hold amount on my account. Then when I called back the full $129.xx was on there.

You know you can change the number in your cart? At one point this morning, I had 3 32 gb and 1 16 gb in my cart -- in the little box on the left side of the screen where the details about the tablet were. I clicked on the little trash can there, and the 32 gb ones disappeared one by one. Then when I went to the actual cart, it only showed the one I wanted.

It did take LOTS of click, back button, click, back button to get where I wanted to be. Then it hung up at the registration screen, but I got through that. Patience! As long as you have the time, keep at it.
