We've been several times at the beginning of May, but this will be our first end of May trip. I've been watching the weather. I don't remember it being in the 90s on our previous trips.

Is this normal for this time of year or is central Florida having a heat wave?

High 80's, low 90's is the norm for late May (at least it has been during our trips). I did see on the Weather Channel that much of Florida is a little warmer than usual.

I would KILL for some 80-90 degree weather!

up north here in New England we're stuck in the 50-60's...where is spring already?!?!?!

enjoy your trip! :)

I just returned this week and the locals were all saying how it was so much hotter than normal for this time of year. Hopefully it won't be too bad when you go! We had high 90's and humid this past week and now in MA it's 47 degrees and cloudy. Talk about extremes!!!

When we went last year at the end of May it was 90's and humid every day! The heat doesn't get to me as much as the humidity does. Next time I think we'll go at the beginning of May or in the late fall. (I don't know how those that go in the middle of summer can stand it!)

Its about right.

Ave high in May is 88 record high is 100 record low is 52.

For June its 91, 100, 60

For July its 92, 100, 67

We just hate to see the nice winter weather go.

Yes, it is not unusual. Most of the time, the temps are in the high 80's but can climb into the 90's. Wish they would send some of that warm weather our way!

This May was just like last May, HOT!

And, December was the coldest!!!!

Usually here in Florida by the time May rolls around it is hot!! It does feel hotter than normal with all the humidty, though.

I am at Disney right now, and it sooo HOT!!! Every day, I been completely wiped out by 1:00 pm, sweating and misrable. I thought I could handle the heat, but for some reason, the heat's just too much this year. I been to Disney many times in May, and I don't ever remember it being this hot! I also go to Disney every January and I think I am going to prefer that for now on!!

Just back today and it was soooo humid. Around 93 every day. last year the same week it was exactly the same and they said it was record heat, but the same this year. they are watching a front that may bring the temps down into the 80's next week. Have fun anyway.

Was there 5/9 to 5/16. We've gone the first or second week of May the past 4 years. It's been 90-95 every year. The funny part is we were there in December, it was 50 on our arrival day, we were saying if we could only have a happy medium, about 75-80!

This year was more humid that the other years, especially last weekend. We only had about 1 hour of rain on Wednesday evening.

Hugs, I was bginning to think it was just me but I found the heat unbearbale and so did my kids. Thankfully, we went on the cruise after 4 days in the parks b/c I don't think they could have done it any longer. We went in May on our honeymoon 15 years ago and it wan't his hot. Who says there's no global warming?

Personally, I saw BRING ON THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY! LMAO

I love it, can't get enough of it....if anyone living in FL wants to trade up for the much much milder weather here in Washington, let's talk! LOL
